The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Well, where is it? Are you saying you walked away and left it in FS9? What's up with that? Seriously, how many virtual hours have been logged in the Wright Flyer? Maybe 10 collectively amongst us all? How'd you like to be the poor sucker that modeled this thing? Surely they didn't think something that would barely maintain flight 6' off the ground would be hugely popular with flight simmers? I mean I understand the whole "Century Of Flight" thing, but what on earth were they thinking? Well OK, after seeing all the "Where is your [insert popular payware aircraft name here] now?" threads I decided it was time for the highly underated Wright Flyer to have it'…

  8. This is an emerging into Dusk, (XPX.30) sequential shots post of Andras Fabian's V2 H.D. Mesh project, ....and is a dedication post to him. Thank you, for bringing me this, Fabian. Also this includes a tribute to X-Aviation for the most excellent; SkyMax v2...of which is providing the superb sky visuals, and effects. Together...they bring this: Each shot may seem similar, but is not...as if you look as the flight progresses, the changes to lighting, clouds, and contrast evolving from Day, into Dusk..is simply fabulous...and I offer you the journey alongside me... Cheers, and please enjoy! Mitch (Sesquashtoo) 1 http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/Q…

I don't really consider myself a rotor head but I love the Agusta, lol. Had a nice late afternoon flight, sorta like the energizer bunny, I just kept going and going... All shots are from FSX DX10, silky smooth averaging 30.1 FPS locked at 33 with max autogen. The ole girl still looks pretty good! I like the Jet Ranger too, much more nimble and easier to fly than the Agusta but not as fast. Love this paint: Thanks for looking  Jim

Although this thing looks better without gear (ala Realair!) I think it looks mighty nice here in XP10 - about 20 bucks for great value!

Original Tu-154B-2 I'm about to begin a historical flight from 1977 as the interesting routes with fuel limited planes are today gone. Our equipment will be the legendary Soviet airliner Tu-154B-2 and we'll be flying from Moscow Sheremetyevo boarding at the futuristic Sheremetyevo-1 (today Terminal B ) where our trip begins and we'll make it to Pyongyang Sunan airport, the heart of the DPRK. The flight number is SU567 operated by Aeroflot Soviet Airlines and will depart Moscow at 17:10 arriving at Pyongyang 10:10. However we will have technical stops at Omsk and Irkutsk along the route. Here is the timetable for flight in english: Why Pyongya…

Hey! It's an early morning in Pyongyang, and flights are rare. However KA253 is a scheduled flight that is normally operated by Antonov An-24 but a Tupolev Tu-134A-3 is going to fly this run. It's cold outside, and the plane's cold as well... But once everythings warmed up we will be good to go... And yes, we, the pilots are already quite warmed up. But we should have hidden the bottle of vodka a bit better instead of leaving it on the galley in case it would have costed our license Pyongyang Sunan terminal, now it doesn't look strange anymore. In fact very familiar arquitecture and better looking than the boring gray filled with jetways seen in t…
