Bought a new monitor and now can really see what X-plane can look like in 4k 3840x2160 res. This is my poor mans version of Vegas, I know there a payware XPX version, but it took me couple days to make this. Its not 100% accurate to real life, but it sure beats default XPX version of Las Vegas.

I was never able to crank up the clouds and autogen like this with Switzerland before. Vegetation shadows are on, and makes a world of difference in making autogen look decent over photoscenery. I decided it was time to take this bird to some destinations off the beaten path, as Alaska is full of beautiful scenery with tiny airports in relatively remote areas. I was also curious about RNP approaches, a type of non-ILS approach used extensively by Alaska Airlines.
