The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

This is my poor mans version of Vegas, I know there a payware XPX version, but it took me couple days to make this. Its not 100% accurate to real life, but it sure beats default XPX version of Las Vegas.

Been a while since I posted some of my Swiss photoscenery, so here you are! Switzerland 60cm photoscenery FS Global Ultimate FTX Global OpenVFR Switzerland *As a side note, I'm really impressed with P3D v2.4. I was never able to crank up the clouds and autogen like this with Switzerland before. Vegetation shadows are on, and makes a world of difference in making autogen look decent over photoscenery. Just check out that little needle-less pine tree in the last photo casting his little shadow. http://imgur.com/Lrdru1m http://imgur.com/rcrzy0Z http://imgur.com/ozdBg4R http://imgur.com/XauwhgR http://imgur.com/GaSWMKS http://imgur.com/q47K7bb http://imgur.…

Hi folks, it's your friendly neighborhood pretend Alaska Airlines pilot here! I decided it was time to take this bird to some destinations off the beaten path, as Alaska is full of beautiful scenery with tiny airports in relatively remote areas. I was also curious about RNP approaches, a type of non-ILS approach used extensively by Alaska Airlines. These approaches allow precision approaches into runways that are located in areas that prevent the traditional straight line paths necessary for instrument landings. Often, it's because of surrounding terrain, as you will see evidenced in my approach to my chosen Alaska destination, Sitka Rocky Gutierrez Airport (PASI) l…

These are some PREVIEW screenshots which I took around the European Alps (Northern Italy, Western Austria, parts of Switzerland and a tiny bit of Southern Germany) using the development version of HD Mesh Scenery v3 in X-Plane 10 (the official release is still HD Mesh Scenery v2) ... But they are almost at final quality (only a latest update of OSM data was missing): You can see all 76 screenshots here: PREVIEW - Alps (Europe), HD Mesh Scenery v3 Just as a side note: HD Mesh Scenery v3 will be - again - a freeware (donationware) "product" and will cover Europe, North America (Alaska and most parts of Canada included), Hawai…
