Finally we have a super detailed Copenhagen Kastrup airport for FSX, this one made by Flytampa. I´m astonished how much detail we can have in an airport in FSX. Flytampa have according to me set a new standard how detailed a airport can be without losing valuable fps..of course it´s quite memory demanding so I had to optimize some things in the scenery so it works with my NGX and my photoreal scenery over Denmark Now all my flights will go from EKCH for a long long time :wub: ..maybe forever, hehe. After much tweaking with sweetfx, dx10, and shade, I finally think I have the right combination of light intensity, color, and shadowing. Im using the pmdg ngx along with a modified sunglare tweak found here http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?/topic/10000-sunglare-vc-tweak-re-purposing-fsxes-lensflare-effect/ . Wow.....wow..and another wow.. I thought to just take my first flight of this morning, out of Wawa, Ontario, Canada to check out the new and better hydrology metrics for Canada with Vector 1.20. I was surprised to see that P3D v2.4 had me at Winter...but thought it was being driven by weather conditions supplied by ASN. Well..no matter...I turned on the carb-heat...and took off out of Wawa (custom scenery). The first pic shows the take off...and view to the east. Wawa sits just off Lake Superior, and is a most beautiful destination to camp (black flies pretty much wipe out June, into the first week of July...past that, you are good to camp, kayak, play the guitar, hik…

Finally I have reached Houston after a 11 hours flight (no time compression here :Big Grin:) which is my longest flight in my FS life. Aircraft used in this flight was Scandinavian Airlines 737-700 BBJ HB-JJA, leased from Privatair.

Here are some random screens from my first trial flights (just playing around, testing different settings etc) my .cfg is untweaked, plain vanilla. The only thing added is Opus weather and FTX Global (thank you devs for making your products cross compatible) One last note; the images are quite dark due to the new HDR technology, not sure if I like it or not...it is easy to turn off in the settings anyway
