The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  5. Eagerly awaiting the V2 Turbo Duke from RealAir, I did a flight with the good old model. A short 1 hour jump from Glenns Falls (thanks to Ed Cox for his wonderful freeware scenery) to Flytampa's Montreal Even if the orginal version is 3.5 years old, it remains a real pleasure to see and to fly. But I hope the updated model is not too far (should be out in the next few weeks according to RealAir's website) Parked at KGFL, a very, very nice piece of freeware, lovely regional airport with lots of details. Did I mention it is very nice ? PT6s allows high climb rate provided you manage the temperatures closely. Oil doors open, high speed,…

Just purchased the this addon and I am very pleased so far. Definately a notch up from ORBX Global lights. What I like is the more realistic orange road colors, and the much greater visibility of the lights. Now you can cruise at high flight levels and still see road far beyond.

The screen shots don't quite convey the depth and light contrast but believe me it was very real. I also didn't realise that Real Terra Haze produced cloud shadows even with HDR off - the fact that it does means that the FPS hit I suffer on three screens with HDR on is negated. Carenado B200; default clouds; HD Mesh v2; Scenery4XP Final Frontier. Mitch (Sesquashtoo) - I did have the FPS up on the screen but it doesn't show - for your info it was around 28/30 FPS. If you have 2 or 3 screens use them to view; it makes a huge difference. http://1drv.ms/1DbjwfI cheers Peter

Greetings! I usually fly GA aircraft, but every once in a while I just have to bust out something loud and fast and run some canyons. For this exercise, I loaded up the A2A P-51 Civilian, Orbx CRM, Opus FSX and set a course from Lewiston (KLWS) to Weiser (S87), Idaho. This route follows the Snake River along the border of Idaho and Washington and is popularly known as Hells Canyon. In a small aircraft you can take-off and land at Weiser. However, in something as fast as the P-51 you are pretty much limited to KLWS. My P-51 mechanic scolded me severely for running the Glamorous Gal into the airport fence last time I tried to land at Weiser... Besides that, I neede…

Hi guys, after makeing some training flight with my P-51D I came across the beautiful landscape arround Roseburg Regl (KRBG) in lower Oregon. Although I fly very often in PNW, I´ve never been that south. As the weather got worse (thanks ASN), I jumped into my old and trusty C206 and made some discovering.

I have been asked to ferry a few German marine biologists from Juneau some 300 m south to Ketchikan. They said they had brought their own plane along. After having seen it, who am I to refuse such request The weather forecast is unusually fine for this time of the season, so it should be a smooth flight. Ready for departure In the climb She flies like a dream I hope my pax will enjoy the scenery as much as I do Oh no, they look at family photos Ok guys, store your PC and fasten your seatbelts In the descent On final into Ketchikan Rwy11 We are about to nail it I love people flow
