The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Just starting to discover the joys of flying things other than airliners. Can't believe I've been missing out all of these years! Just the one shot from a stormy Chichester in England. Thanks for looking

A quick hop from Denver, CO to Jackson Hole, WY aboard this retro Continental 739. Flying this reminded me why I don't like flying in winter in FSX, it just doesn't look good to me (especially where snow meets non-snow areas). I don't think I have my graphics setup just right either which doesn't help (recently went through a major hardware change and full reinstall). I think I have overprocessed some of these also! Ah well, live and learn! Thanks for looking

These are from a couple of recent flights of mine. Virtavia MH-53J Pavelow and the Acceleration default EH-101. both tweaked with autopilot, auto hover and ENB series night vision filter. I also use the banking camera app when I am in Autopilot mode for entertainment purposes. These are taken also using REX Essential + OD and FTX Global and PNW series ground textures.

Shalom and greetings all my pals, PADQ United States Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak located four nautical miles southwest of the central business district of Kodiak, Alaska is having fuel shortage crisis because of previous powerful snowstorm that cut off roads and shipping lanes to Kodiak meaning that Coast Guard has to call for emergency airlift of fuel so that their fleet of HH-60 Jayhawk and HH-65 Dolphin helicopters and the HC-130 Hercules can maintain crucial rescue operations. Presenting emergency fuel delivery from PAIE Eielson Air Force Base located approximately 26 miles southeast of Fairbanks, Alaska to PADQ Setting flaps Love the suns…

The company inspected and approved the delivery from Boeing, now she's on her 1st revenue flight from KLAX to KJFK. Rocketing out of LAX at sunset... Really like this angle....massive engine! Swing the camera back and get a nice shot of the tail... Heading east, leaving LAX behind....Nice shot of the door detail...the customer requested pre-applied ramp rash! :Just Kidding: The magic of flightsim let's us pick our favorite departure and arrival times...I like to depart at sunset and arrive early in the morning...here she is taxiing to the cargo area at JFK. Shut down, the rampers get busy!... She's being uploaded to the…

Some more pics of the Iris LSA..... One thing the package did not include was a US registered paint, so I added one. One nice feature is a config popup which can add/remove the wheel pants, and change the prop from a wood to a composite prop..... Pictures are over Sun City, AZ and Surprise, AZ... Enjoy John

It's great to see some payware vendors coming out with Microlights/LSA aircraft, especially since the only aircraft I've ever trained in were LSA's. Iris and Alabeo have both come out with recent releases, and I am enjoying my latest addition to my library, Iris's Jabiru. If you've ever flown an LSA they have the handling, cabin noise and other features done very well. It's definitely recommended if someone is looking for a two-seater similar to a 152, especially a high wing. I took some shots over the Arizona desert and around Colmar in France. The photoreal scenery is my own, created with FSEarthtiles. The nuclear plant in Arizona is Palo Verde, near Buckeye Ar…

Painting a new 777 and thought I'd give her some ramp rash..... Here is the L1 door. Will be adding more to the cargo doors and other high wear areas before I release her. Great thing about painting with layers is that its pretty easy to apply the effects to any of my paints. I'll be adding the dirt to my shiny new Alitalia 777F as I take her around the world and she picks up the dirt along the way. Regards, Steve Dra
