The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  3. Ok, the Mig 21 never flew this route, but the Fiat G91 Gina and the F104G flew it very often in my day. I was allowed to fly in the two-seater Starfighter twice back then thanks to my Luftwaffe Jet Passenger Card. Above Fürstenfeldbruck as it no longer exists today Thanks for viewing

  6. United kept their promise on the assigned a/c for my trip booked months in advance...a 737 MAX 9 on the outgoing leg to Orlando and a 757-300 on the incoming leg back to Chicago O'Hare. It was refreshing to be back on the O'Hare premises after nearly 2 years, where one gets to see all kinds of aircraft...while travelling in the airport people-mover and during pre-boarding e.g., I caught sight of many long-haul series a/c of Lufthansa and United, the two (Star Alliance) airlines that were the staple of my trans-oceanic travels for nearly 3 decades, for business and pleasure. Over the next several years, Lufthansa is in the process of replacing its 330s/340s and United is a…

  11. [This is a topic close to my heart, and additionally, I also wished to fly this likeable Cessna Twin for a second time here (if you wish, please see my previous post of this same a/c climbing away from San Jose (KSJC) airport, with a thankful correction from a member...🙂...In my defense, lately all kinds of issues have impacted my SIM activities and my attention to details, and I don't mean RL issues...🙂...). First, my Xbox/MSFS has been more problematic than normal e.g., error loading start-up screens and loss of (Garmin/GTN) avionics displays in the cockpit. On top of it, the Avsim server issues (of past week) complicated any posting activities. Now, with Avsim issues a…

Hi simmers 😃 Did a short testflight with the updated CS C-130 and have to say : Well done ! Some new stuff compared to V.1.0 : You can now open the paradoors and the ramp inflight what wasent before and is possible in real life, you can fly in GPS mode now and i did a flight with the GPS option and it worked very well for me - so a step foreward with this C-130 update ! Forgot: And you can use now all free repaints with this 1.1 update - i have around 15 liverys and all are working.. Some shots: Ramp open inflight.. paradoors open inflight.. …

First: a huge thank to you my friend TimHH, who graciously bought me a FlightBeam gift card this morning so I was able to get a free SFO. Please enjoy this beautiful scenic journey from Sekiu 11S to Roche Harbor (pvt) WA09, in the Pacific Northwest of the USA. This is the new Classic Aircraft Simulations J3 Cub for MSFS. It's extremely affordable and has some super cool features like hand prop starting, filling up your own fuel tank, grabbing the control surfaces and making sure everything is there (walkaround etc), front passenger (hidable) which you can kindly nudge to the right or left to see out the front window, and even some parts that will break if you're not careful! The sounds are wonderful as are the visuals. There are also options for dynamic registration and the positions of them are customi…

Over 90 years ago, on August 27, 1931, the Dornier Do X became visible over New York at around 11 am. To this day, the arrival of the "DO X" in New York is considered a milestone in aviation history. Here it goes past LaGuardia Before landing on the Hudson, the plane was allowed to fly around the Statue of Liberty The Do X remained in New York until spring 1932, the crew returned to Germany by ship. Our ship is the Majestic of the White Star Line, which was launched in 1914 as the Bismarck Thanks for viewing

  20. This airliner fan, here, with an alter ego named after the Boeing 787-8...🙂..., has been always a great fan of twin props too (pistons and turbos) since the earliest times of my involvement in the hobby. This is, of course, within my limited (virtual) knowledge and familiarity with such a/c... unlike a few of our esteemed Twin GA experts, aficionados, and RW pilots around here...🙂... Frankly, I am bit of a greater fan of the Piper Twins...But this Cessna built C414A rendition by Flysimware seemed irresistible... (I have owned many Flysimware a/c in my past SIMs and been always impressed by their attention to details and realism of SIM a/c... including both prop and j…

  23. We know there are multiple A320s (ceos and neos; freeware and payware) available in MSFS these days. And myself, not being a puritan simmer nor an aspiring Airbus pilot...🙂...these are all viewed as one (nearly indistinguishable) lump in my eyes. However, I was indeed a puritan simmer at one point, decades ago. I vividly recall flying the PMDG and iFly 737NGs, 3 times a week, like clockwork, for nearly a year or more, with all the bells and whistles (such as enhanced scenery, FS2Crew, on-line ATC, rigid fuel calculations, identical RW routes etc...). I do recall on FS2Crew, pressing that Flight Attendant button meant for requesting a "Cup of Coffee"...while being fully ab…
