The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Hi all, this is the Milviz B737-200 and it's free today for P3d, have it now installed in P3dv4.5 because it's considered to be good since longer. And it's really good, needs a complete startup from cold and dark but it all works and flies well including a good working Sperry AP and so on. Need more liveries now and will do more shots later. Thank you very much for viewing! Cheers Andreas

A few quick and dirty shots from my initial T-33 flight from CFB Greenwood (CYZX) to Halifax. Departing CFB Greenwood, CYZX. The RCAF T-birds moved from CFB Shearwater to CFB Greenwood late in their service. A look at the big wingtip tank cruising along the Annapolis Valley Over Bedford Basin heading along Halifax Harbour Halifax Harbour Conducting a low pass over CFB Shearwater (CYAW)'s closed runway 16/34. Shearwater was a large base for the T-Birds, but now operates only as a heliport. I add this one as a warning 🙂 I thought I would do a 180 from my last picture and…

I have now gotten the JF version, but here's a trio of the Deimos Su-27s. One of my favourite planes (but then, I have so many favourites!) Can't remember location, somewhere over Serbia I think.

Hi all, impressive landscape at Iceland, from BIEG to BIVM via BIAR, BIKR and BIRK. Good quality of the scenery, interesting to see. And Pilot's Dash7 which is really a useful plane, very stable to fly. Thank you very much for viewing! Cheers Andreas

Hi all, did a little flight here from EDDL Düsseldorf to EDDM München which is my major highway racing tour in Germany since 40 years in real life. Orbx never did True Earth Germany so it's the landclass region scenery Germany North and South and it's nice to fly, great flightsim scenery, well done. Have the Milviz King Air KA350i here, it's extraordinary and it's a freebie for P3d now. Every switch and knob is functional, fully functional Proline 21, good fps, it's fantastic. There is no such King Air available for msfs, Milviz and Carenado have it for P3d but didn't bring it to msfs so far. There is also no such King Air available for Xp…

I'm not a great fan of mountain scenery, and don't tend to go near Switzerland very often, but I saw there were huge numbers of POIs on the world map in that area after WU18, so I thought I'd go take a look round. Flight was out of Lugano, I believe, and I just headed north to the vague area where I'd seen a bunch of POIs on the map. This is the just the first one I spotted. Nothing special, in the sense that not a place I'd heard of or knew anything about, but I just thought I'd take the drone down for a look. And it really is amazing. So I thought I'd post these simply to point out the quality of the work that goes into these POIs and updates. There's a lot of moan…

After completing a fun trip between (Munich) EDDM and (Salzburg) LOWS (please see my previous post)...which was a short trip but quite enjoyable to the heart's content of this mountain-lover...🙂...it's time to say farewell to these two airports...in the virtual sense I mean...from (afar) here in Chicago....nearly 4,500 miles away...🙂... (please also see my shot #4 below, for distance reference in Km e.g., to New York, but those distances on that interesting mile-marker post are not very legible...at least to my eyes...) Conclusion: The Handcrafted airports for EDDM and LOWS are certainly rich in buildings and other elements of the respective airport premises, but I w…

No, this is not yet the new MSFS T-33 (which I'm really looking forward to), this is the old FS9/FSX T-33 by Tim "Piglet" Conrad, which I ported into MSFS. The panel is from the Milviz P3D F-86. I'm taking off from Landsberg in Bavaria and flying to Locarno in Northern Italy. But first it's off to Lake Constance Above Friedrichshafen Lake Walen in Switzerland can be seen in the background In Italy; I'm just leaving Olivone behind me Above Bellinzona in front of Castelgrande Castle And Finally Locarno comes into sight …

Hi all, some shots here from the Kiruna addon by Marcus Nyberg which is made of 3 airports, ESNQ, ESNV and ESSD, very nice. Last shot is from England near Bristol, I'am working on the sunlight in the old p3dv4.5 and I made some progress, it's a bit tricky... Just to have the screenshots a bit more up to date...🙂 Thank you very much for viewing! Cheers Andreas

I sure do hope they fix this bridge sometime soon. And I also hope MSFS 2024 can do better than this.

MSFS World Update 18 improved and re-introduced the imagery for 3 countries: Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. It has included TIN (whatever that means...🙂...) method-based surface modelling of several cities, and also a few hand-crafted airports two of which are Germany’s Munich Airport (EDDM) and Austria’s Salzburg Airport (LOWS). So, today, after a quick and prompt installation of the Update, I wished to take a low and slow trip...from Munich (EDDM) south to the border-city of Salzburg (LOWS), but the trip actually ended up being slow and high instead for parts of it...🙂...when the beckoning of the Bavarian Alps mountains became irresistible to this mountain-love…
