Hi all, didn't fly at Chicago in msfs for longer but looks all good. Have the Searstower in and files for Midway and this works well. Also had more freeware files to complete it but these caused a stuttering sim, so I took it out again. But It's ok, I like it. Thank you very much for viewing! Cheers Andreas

OK...🙂...Let me explain. As far back as I can recall, in this great hobby of ours, especially for those of us who are not (or have never been) professional pilots...nor are aspiring ones...but who are (or have been) also professionals in our own rights...🙂... and use this SIM as a source of relaxation and pastime...one thing stands out. Traditional Boeing a/c cockpits (such as for 747/757/767/777) have always come in a brown-beige color scheme, whereas the Airbus a/c cockpits have come in a blue-grey color scheme. Now, take a quick glimpse at my shot #s (1, 3, 4) below. Do they not look like, maybe, they belong to a Boeing airplane...🙂...? Oh well...while I've now amassed…

The island at the northern end of Exuma, one of the most beautiful places on earth for me, used to be called “Leeward Stocking Island”. And upwind of the prevailing south-easterly trade winds here in the Bahamas was “Windward Stocking Island”. Meanwhile, this area in MSFS is looking really good Above Bock Island. Today I'm taking the good old Transall from Athens along the beautiful Adriatic coast to Zadar in Croatia. Hi all, between Middelburg and Rotterdam, TE Netherlands scenery. They have a lot of those switchable dams there. It's P3dv4.5 and I am working on the sunlight in the sim because Orbx does not do anything for P3dv6 yet. The new sim has physical based light built in, faster loading times, better fps and so on... Hi all, found a great scenery at Dover England for Dover Castle, featuring good ground resolution and high quality textures for the buildings, well done. Hi all, did a flight today from Berlin EDDB to Belfast EGAA in the B738. This was 800 nm in realtime which I do not very often and it was a flawless flight. The route was only choosen to check the scenery which comes from XP11, was not copied from a real flight. Same to the flightlevel, was always FL80 to check the scenery. So this was EDDB-EDDH-EHAM-EGNC-EGAA. Aircraft is the Zibo 738 for Xplane freeware, for me one of the best 737 in flightsimulation. Thank you very much for viewing! Cheers Andreas

It's been a while since I posted any screenshots, I hope I can remember what button to click on imgur. Post rotator cuff surgery I've been making a lot of sim flights in Australia. What a beautiful country.

Last time, I executed a full transoceanic flight was probably many years ago...with remnants of the PMDG 747 and MD-11 still residing on my FSX/SE system...🙂...But, once upon a time, such long-haul flights were quite common for me, diligently executed, following (RW) oceanic tracks and other associated RW procedures, and also at normal SIM Rate of 1x...🙂...Anyway, today, I wished to explore and wrap-up my remembrances and nostalgia of one of my favorite (long-haul) a/c, the Airbus A340 (if you wish, please see my earlier post). Hi all, today squirrel did a little flight from San Sebastian LESO to Santander LEXJ via LEBB Bilbao, along the Northern Spanish Coast. The aerial images are from Spain UHD freeware but doesn't work in XP12 because of the watertextures, as far as I can see. Simheaven on top of course. USB is backwards compatibel but my new joystick seems to work better plugged into a original USB 2.0 than USB 3.0. Actually strange, does anyone know anything about it? [This is another of my "Bliss" series post...🙂....] Since my last A340 simulation of a return-trip from Frankfurt to Chicago (please see my previous post), I have been thinking a bit more about the city of Sault Ste. Marie, in Ontario, Canada. As I write this, today's Lufthansa flight DLH432/LH432 (Yep, that's the flight number...it has not changed in decades...) of (quad-jet) Airbus A340-300 (see images in my previous (nostalgic) post for the exact same variant of the a/c - thanks to LVFR...🙂..) is now enroute from Frankfurt Intl. to Chicago, O'Hare, about 2hr 45 mins into the 9hr long total flight, making me to drift my thoughts to so many (past) RW flights where …
