The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

A small flight in Eastern Indonesia, from Rote Island to Timor. I was enchanted by the ground imagery and the morning light, . Small villages, degraded forest, coasts, watermasks . No LC map as good as it could be can approach this. The absence of clouds was a little surprising though... Early take off Look at the cultivated area ! Amazing ... Unexpected surprise, some nice water masks East of Rote island

Hey Folks, Here we have a couple of old radial engined aircraft. The first is the Manfred Jahn Douglas C-47 in PDR, I just love flying this aircraft and have 30 PBR liveries installed and also have added the GTN 750 GPS unit and some additonal sound enhancements. The pilots are talkative and there is some quite suggestive banter between Nancy the flight attendant and pilots at times. The first officer even sings a song of C-47 lament 🙂 Getting ready for take off @ Gisbourne Airport in New Zealand. And this is the stock Electra included in P3D. Never flown it prior but it's actually quite fun to fly. Both are quite different to …

Of course this has been done before. By the British for example in the 1920s, here in a Hawker Hardy And more recently in 2016 by participants of a vintage air rally with special permission by the Egyptian authorities, here a Belgian couple in their Stampe I do it now in a Waco (without special permission 🙂) Thanks for viewing

  5. Grass in front of the WH seems pretty unkept. Anyone know why? 🤔 Not sure where she's going, but I'd wager to bet its Delaware... for the weekend....again.

  7. Eastbound in the G36 Turbo over western Kansas near sunset last evening. That cluster of red lights caused me to check the sectional map. Correct for the natural windy area I found it to be a windmill farm. Image is larger if you click on it!

Had a sudden urge to go back and have a quick bash in XP. Thought I had a 767 for it but seems I was imagining that, probably because of a recent email-shot, but I saw this and thought "that'll do". This, for me, is what a 747 should look like. I always felt the later ones were a stretch too far. Couple of shots on the way out from EGLL I rather enjoyed that. Might have a few more back in XP soon.

Well, actually my first shots of this beauty in Aerofly FS2 three and a half years ago. Just bought the Flying Iron one but haven't installed it yet (later today) so I'll be doing this flight again to see how they compare. I don't fly AFS2 much these days but for areas where it has good scenery it is pretty amazing.

Just the one. I may attempt the titular flight, or parts of it, but almost certainly with my finger on the "increase sim speed" key for some of the time. First impressions are good.

Added some PBR and bumps to the old SSP 76, i never liked the cs 76 and certainly cant afford it when i can use the 15 buck qw75 vc for all my needs This isnt even custom for all parts, just a really-really-really good general green texture with a great Alpha on it. Absolutely love this model, and absolutely love the 76 west of the Rio-Grande

Just playing around in the R44. Quite like the way it works, but never been totally in love with the looks of these. Used the Alabeo R66 a lot in P3D as it was an easy fly and a nicely modelled beast. Not sure how much time I'll spend in this though. Went to check out Aswan. Had downloaded the .to airport in anticipation of the Ju-52 coming out and a trip down the Nile, and just fancied a quick look round. I'll be back, as the man said. Love the details here - those sweats hung over the balcony railings!
