The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

From the DC6 to the 145 in Mt Blanc... We transited the DC6 from Marambio, planned to stop at another base before heading North to Stanley in the Falklands but wxr prevented it so we went straight to Stanley then Falklands to Gran Canarias- Gibraltar-Geneva... Sadly I was working while co-pilot was flying those legs so no screenies but here we are at our final destination. I thought landing the DC6 at Rothera was tough. That was a cake walk compared to landing the 145 up here!! What a view though. From the bottom of the world to the top of Mt. Blanc. Yep, it took more than one landing attempt, I may have rolled down the mountain a couple of times before s…

Pt 4 crossing the Highest Continent in the world.... This is amazing to me because in every other sim all we've ever had at the poles was those horrid squares of white texture. This was my first time heading this far south in MSFS and I was blown away as I crossed from Marambio to Rothera how detailed even Antarctica was in the sim. It finally feels like the highest continent in the world! Ominous day leaving Marambio let's hope it's better @ Rothera! Tough to tell what's a cloud and what's a mountain! Those are clouds... Wait, those are mountains, let's double check our charts... Yep, definitely a mountain, climb power please...…

So funny story. Last week I saw the release of the Skyway Mt Blanc and was fascinated by it. At the same time I saw a the thread about Aerosoft Antarctica and was equally fascinated. My dilemma is I do not like to "jump around" in the sim LOL. At the same time I had just purchased Maui and Lihue in the Hawaiian Islands and planned to leave from Newark to San Diego for the hop to Hawaii... So then I went to .to and looked at the scenery map. Was there any way to get from Newark-San Diego-Hawaii-Antarctica-Mt Blanc??? Turns out there was and it mad a monumental trip. Routing was Newark-San Diego-Maui (quick hop to Lihue and back) then Maui to Christmas…

Seems I've flown from the PNW down the entire west coasts of North, Central and South America to end up in Laguna San Rafael National Park in southern Chile, where I've discovered the PSW is a lot like the PNW except the ladies are spicier and the terrain is, if anything, more rugged! Seriously, not having been here before it looks oddly familar. Good flight from Melimoyo SCOO to Rio Murta SCRU (interesting ICAO name there) winding through some massive canyons and straits. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an alternative to Papa New Guiteau etc. As a bonus, the MSFS UI map shows nearby fauna just to the west and south, so in the morning we're gonna load …

which is in Poland but you knew that ! Not exactly the right livery to fly in Eastern Europe but now you know that you can fly, at last !, a Susi Air Porter thanks to a friendly talented painter at the .to ! It was a small flight from Prešov in Slovakia to Poland and the approach is nice. Curiously there was a little snow on ground but I have never been there so I wouldn't know whether this is right. a couple of inches before touching ground, a three-point, yeah !
