The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Thanks to DCS Free Trial program, I have had a bit of fun with the F-18c and Supercarrier. Can't land it yet though.....only need a spare $120US for these 2 modules!!!! I might have to stay with my old F-15, but this one is pretty awesome.

So it's no Gulfstream....but when you need to fly from Manistique Michigan (KISQ) to Clintonville Wisconsin (just SW of Green Bay) with a bunch of Wisconsinites....this is one way to go! We had to extend those speed brakes and chop and drop for the approach but the landing was uneventful at KCLI. 13. "The Hindu Kush is an 800-kilometre-long mountain range in Central and South Asia to the west of the Himalayas that stretches from central Afghanistan into far northern Pakistan and far southern Tajikistan." Prompted by DK's adventure in Pakistan I set out from Chitral, (OPCH) to follow my nose through some mountainous country. Most of the short flight was below 8,500'. T45 (MSFS) Leaving Chitral & following the left fork of a river. Realized I should have gone for the right fork. Circling to get over the ridge to the other fork. Heading up the right fork. Small settlements & single houses dot the valley floor. Sol…

That's St Petersburg, FLA. Much warmer there. This is a rather fine creature, and apart from a couple of odd moments, flies really well. Available on flightsim.to, of course. Had a really nice flight out from KTPF around Tampa and St Pete and then back. Haven't been back to the replay yet, these were just a couple of quick grabs during the flight. Scenery here is default with Bijan's trees/seasons and Henrik's ships. Looks pretty fine.

One of the oldest strategic roads in the world goes from the Indian Sub-Continent to Afghanistan and further west to Central Asia and the Middle East. To pass the mountains, there is legendary notch in the relief, the Khyber Pass. For millennia, dromedaries and mules and now trucks and trains have been carrying their loads through it. It was a strategic choke point for the Brits, all the more important that they never really controlled Afghanistan and were wary of Russian plans to invade "their" India. More here on the Khyber Pass - Wikipedia. I was not lucky enough to see it myself in real but MSFS gives me a taste of it with a good aircraft. So I did a flight from Pes…

  20. I caught this (tiny) virtual plane perched at the topmost rung of the Top Downloads today...(reflecting peer interest...which I value...)... And, below are a few connected (or maybe un-connected) thoughts about this plane/sim...I itemized them for easier reading...on a Sunday...🙂... First of all, I recall this Meyers plane well...from the SIM. Recently, I'd acquired the Milviz (FSX) Porter for myself (see my post about it, if you wish), prompted by the many wonderful posts of the MSFS Porter, and also, partially, because of Tim Conrad's excellent freeware Porter version that had introduced me (well) to that plane, decades ago. This Meyers 200 (the variants are …
