Hi All, I made an Accu Press gauge for A32x using arduino for my home cockpit and I need to get the data, the aircraft is an Toliss A321 for Xplane 12. Previously, I tried the official channel asking directly to the vendor but without success. May someone help me? Someone knows how to get this data? I am trying to get the data via python script using upd but I am not sure what dataref use to get the right information or if the simulator will provide me this info. Thank you all in advance, A.

I'm building some controllers for the x-plane aircraft that I fly and I could like to have different panels for each aircraft. I found that SimVimX works well but I can't figure out how to load different configurations for each aircraft. Each panel will have its own master board. From the documentation it seems that you can only have 1 master board and several slave boards, but that becomes too complicated.

For many years i enjoyed my FS9 iFly 737 with home-made Arduino-based panels: overhead, MCP, EFIS, Nav/Com. This was pretty easy thanks to the great iFly2FSUIPC interface. All that went to waste when I switched to MSFS... until??? unless??? So, my question: can somebody let me know if that brand new PMDG737 comes with a full complement of Lvars/Hvars which might allow me to put my hardware to good use again? That would be great news! Thanks, Philippe

Hi Guys, I'm researching my own home built switch panel. Just to change dials, turn things on and off etc. Not a replica cockpit. I've got a Arduino Leonardo board and also seen the MobiFlight scripts. Firstly these two are not compatible. So keep that in mind.. My Leonardo board can accept input from a switch and read this as a keyboard /joystick command, so that'll work. It just means I need to write the code. MobiFlight requires a new board but I believe I can get one locally (see link below) and is a lot more plug and play. My question are Does either have a limit on how many buttons switches I can use? Does either or both allow …

I've been wanting a G1000 setup for a while now and have drooled over the Realsimgear and Aviatek equipment for a while. But I just recently stumbled across a link to Nuna Simulations and I see that they offer a G1000 package that comes in at almost half the price of the RSG set. But I can't seem to find any actual reviews of their gear. Does anyone here have any experience with Nuna Simulations gear (good or bad)? I feel like I must be missing something given that their offerings seem to be so much less expensive than other products.

Idk if there are people here who have some knowledge/experience with making their own controllers or hardware, so if you do please help me out a bit if you can. For the past year I've been designing a steering tiller based on the Boeing 777's steering tiller and all I need now is a controller board with a USB port(preferable USB A or USB C) for reading a single axis input from left to right. As of now I wanna using a part of an old racing wheel that I salvaged until I figured out the dimensions for the final build of the housing(see spoiler below). All I need now is a controller board that can fit this header(again, see spoiler below below). Spoiler …

Hello all! As the title says, I'm building a new (fairly simple) home simulator, and I'm seeking some advise. My plan as of now, was maybe a 55"- 60" TV for the main panel (hoping to get at least a 3/4 view of a CJ4 panel and have forward outside views available). Also was considering something like two 40" TV's, one on the left and one on the right side(s) to mimic the left and right windows. I fly the Citation real world, and I'm just going off what I feel is size appropriate for the flight deck. I would think a 60" TV is a pretty realistic size for the panel and forward windows. And a 40" to my left and 40" to the right should well suffice the side windows. Thanks…

Hello All I have a 14 year old son who has ambitions of being a pilot and has decided that he would like to put together a home cockpit - I'm pretty supportive of this as I like the idea of a home project but while I'm reasonably tech savvy, flight sims are a whole new world to me. We have been using MS Flight Simulator 2020 a bit on Xbox (Its on game pass and an accessible way of getting started) with an entry level HOTAS but we want to take a swing at the next step and start building a home cockpit. There is a couple of caveats on all this of course * Its an exercise in tech skills - wood, electronics etc for a 14 year old kid * I've agreed to match …

Hi guys! I'm going to buy a radio set (NAV, COMM, ADF) from Prosim parts. They are (as they said) plug and play. This is possible through a dedicated cardboard with USB connection.Does Anyone have experience with it and MSFS2020? Does it work? I'm planning to use it with PMDG 737-700 https://ibb.co/9y6B10L Thank you!

I have accumulated a good amount of control peripherals over time and I would like to set myself up to not need mouse or keyboard very often. Sadly, many aircraft model panels have switch and button functions that are not covered in the default key mapping options. I am looking for a configuration software to help with that. I fly in P3D v4. I know about... Linda Axes and Ohs Spad.next FSUIPC and so on. But I want something relatively easy to map a specific switch gauge function to a device switch or button. I need something fairly simple. I can't even figure out the Honeycomb Brave configurator. Any help? Thanks Gary

Hi, I am trying to build a A320 cockpit. I am using X plane 11 and have two projectors. I am trying to display the two panels the "Primary flight display" and "Navigation Display" on a tablet below the screen. Can anyone please suggest how to do this? I have bought Air Manager but these panels (in fact none for A-320) are there. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Ajey

Hi I had ordered some control panels to create an Airbus 320 and Cessna cockpit from a local vendor. I received the parts and now the installer has left me high and dry and he’s not turning up to install it. I need some help from all of you that you can guide me remotely how I can assemble the cockpit. I will send you a list of parts that I have ordered and also photographs of the same. I am using Xplane 11 for creating this cockpit. I’m looking forward to any volunteers that can help me with this so that I don’t clog this group with all my questions. I will create a separate message thread so that others are not disturbed. So, in a nutshell I’m looking …

I know this might sound silly but has anyone ever used Google Earth Flight Simulator in their own simulator? I am sure this is not recommended but it is for a competition to become the best at Google Earth Flight Simulator and what better way then to do it in a real simulator. 😄

Spent about 30min searching and the closest I could find was this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/134039307167?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 Which isn't really that bad (I can turn them to face opposite each other rather than be both offset the same direction) and bonus is I'll prob use them for a DC-3 or DC-6 at some point. But still, the purist in me wants levers that look like the ones with handles you can find in a Twin Otter or Goose Anyone have any that can tell me where they got them or know of any being sold? Or does anyone with modeling chops want to design some? I have a friend with a 3D printer but would also be willing…

HI Everyone, I am from Pune, India. I am planning to build a Rafale simpit with projectors for display. I would appreciate if anyone can guide me on how I can make this. Especially if I can get the drawings layout of the same. It becomes very costly to import a manufactured one due to the very high import duties imposed by the Indian Government. I did see a thread here about someone from France who was building one, but the links of facebook that he has provided do not exist. I have also seen the Warthog project videos and website, and it is a fantastic project. However he goes into making even the buttons himself, which I would like to buy off the shelf (A…

Looking for feedback on something I've been working on. It's part of a quixotic pandemic project to build a DHC-2 cockpit, but I got a little carried away with the instrument panels... G3 is a flexible Javascript framework for building steam gauge instrument panels that display live external metrics from flight (or other) simulators. Easy to connect to X-Plane and FS2020 example coming soon. Here's a screenshot of some of the example gauges, or try this live demo. Read more at https://github.com/patricksurry/g3.

Fellow flyers ! I've been seriously thinking about building myself a replica of 737 yoke and a throttle quadrant. Yoke can be desktop style or with the column doesnt matter at all and also throttle quadrant not need to be motorized as it's something beyond what i can realistically accomplish. Regarding the budget for tools and gadgets, i'm pretty open with this but dont wanna spend horrible amounts on those ready-to-use ones. What im actually seeking here is a bunch of advise and a good list of materials i would need to start this off and i have a couple questions on that. I'd really appreciate if somebody already has a diagram for these things with realistic …

Hello, I'm starting a project and would like to use something similar to the pushbuttons found along the bottom of a garmin glass cockpit panel. Do any cockpit builders know of anywhere that sells similar style pushbuttons, or just the rubber push button pad for which I can put my own pushbutton behind? Also at fairly low cost, ideally supplied from within Europe. I want it to be look high quality so don't want to 3d print the buttons themselves although other parts will be 3d printed. Thanks

I have a problem programming my ILS/NAV radio in Sioc. Why is this code not working correct. It I turn the rotary, the course will increment for a second on my homecockpit and also in P3D, but then immidiatly turns back to the original course where P3D started with: Var 1 name InOutIlsCrs Link FSUIPC_INOUT Offset $0C5E Length 2 // ILS CRS in FSUIPC { &IlsCrs = &InOutIlsCrs // new value from FSUIPC } Var 2 name IlsCrs // internal ILS CRS { &D_IlsCrs = &IlsCrs // write to my 3-digit display } Var 3 Link IOCARD_ENCODER Input 156 Aceleration 4 Type 2 { L0 = v3 * -1 &IlsCrs = ROTATE 0 359 L0 // update ILS CRS &InOutIlsCrs = &IlsCrs // write t…
