Once again, I am fortunate enough to have been transported over the pond in my favourite flying machine. I am even more blessed as I am spending time with family that I miss dearly. Although the pond is only a 7 hour flight, it is a world away which becomes noticeable the moment one breaks through the overcast at 2000ft on the approach for 27L at EGLL. The amber street lamps and traffic flowing on the left side immediately lets me know the pilot has navigated correctly. The rows of terraced houses, an impossibly complex maize of streets, the Battersea power station, the jam on the M25 'clockwise' ...immediately sends me into a nostalgic haize that will only get strong…

Hello there!I'm really looking forward to the release of the new 767 PIC! In the last version, i remember with increased altitude the engine noise slowly got drowned out by the wind noise. I'm not sure if it was an addon to the first PIC or if it came with the original. Will this be a feature of the Level D product? Thanks for your timePyjamas

After re-watching the LDS767 promo video, I noticed that the VC gauges were updating very slowly (somwhere between 1 and 2 Hz). Am I mistaken in this? Will this be corrected? I recall reading that more than 2 or 3 VC sections result in low gauge refresh rates.

HiI'm looking to purchase the 767 but an important consideration for me is the ability to save and recall a flight.I know this question was posted about a month ago on the official LDS forum but there was no definitive answer given.Would it be possible for anyone to comfirm (or otherwise) the ability to save and successfully recover a flight.I appreciate that recovering a flight in its entirety is not always possible without some leg-work involved, eg, PMDG's 737NG and PSS's A320, but providing it's actually possible is good enough for me...Many thanks is advanceGary

Obviously, as the name of the product refers to "Level-D", Do they mean the product is as authentic as the real level-D motion simulator?

Hi guys,A few queries. Wasn't able to see the answers to these elsewhere but I apologise if I've overlooked them. Just wondering what standby instrument configuration the 767 is available with. The link below shows a recent-build 757 cockpit with a digital PFD-style backup gauge. http://www.airliners.net/open.file/782814/M/Is this configuration available on the real 767? If so is it modelled in the LDS release?Secondly, does the LDS cockpit environment represent a particular 'vintage' of 767? I'm not sure what changes have occurred over the lifespan of the airplane, with the exception of a few early -200 series that had a flight engineer.Speaking of flight engineers, ther…

Hi All, Been out test driving the 767 (it's great), but have noticed something I have not seen before in other 3rd party craft. When I have VNAV and either LNAV or HDG SEL engaged, and the heading changes a lot (more then 20 degrees or so), the craft pitches up substantially, climbing several hundred to 1000 feet, then a nose down, some nagging from ATC, etc. In fact when using APP mode last night, the ship pitched up, then down lost the localizer, and sort of spazzed out on me(turned beyond the localized, and began circling around again). I have not seen this behavior before, but wonder if that is what the bank limiter is for (never used it). Is this realistic? Should …

On the 1st March I purchased the Level-D 767 and registered for the forums and was accepted. Since that time I have only been able to access the discussion forum and nothing else. When I posted my problem in this forum I was told to reregister but you are unable to do this as you are blocked.I was then told to contact Flight1 for assistance. I tried this and and sent them my order number as shown on their email and was told that such an order number does not exsist and further that they no longer offer support for the product. I have emailed Level-D but I have not had a reply. I cannot understand why I have had this trouble nor can I understand why Level-D make it impossib…

We have remade this forum into the UNOFFICIAL Level D 767 and the 767 PIC forum. By expanding the forum to include both, we provide the history and reams of assistance provided in the extensive 767 PIC forum that existed for some four years, allow users of 767 PIC to continue to share their experience and hints to others, and it allows the owners of LDS' 767 to share help, hints, experience and dialog with non-owners who wish to enquire of the product before purchasing. We think this forum will provide a long lasting resource for the community for both programs, and we hope you will put the forum to use. PLEASE DO NOT EXPECT ASSISTANCE HERE FROM THE PUBLISHERS... This is …

G'dayWhile i am away doing my A320 training i have no net connection so i am wondering if or how i can get hold of LDS 767?I can get hold of the download but i have no connection to the net with my simming PC for the next 2 months as i am living with an ATC friend of mine.If the installer is the same as the ATR and 727 i think you must have an active connection on the pc you intend to use the sim on and that is the stumbling block.ANy help on if or how to get around this problem would be most appreciated.ThanksDarren Howie
