The Level D 767 | Wilco PIC 767 Forum

I have searched both this site and the LevelD forum for information on a converter. I want to convert FOC flight plans for use with the LevelD 767. I did find a pln2rte converter but it was for the PMDG 737. I do remember a converter for the old PIC way back, but can't find it.I do have FSbuild but the flight plan waypoints are lost (converts it to Lat/Lon) when I use the import function. I certainly could be using that function incorrectly or the FOC export process wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.Bob...

Hi, I seem to have solved the rudder control problem on one engine by checking the advanced box in settings but I lose power to flight idle when the engine runs down?? I will check the LD forums but has any one any ideas please?RegardsIcan

Hello all!Lately I reinstalled PIC767, and i've got some really strange things going on here. I've got my SID's installed in the right maps, but when I go the the DEP/ARR menu in the FMC, there's nothing! Only runways.. Anyone got a solution?Kindest regards,Luc

After installing the Update, I'm still having major problems with the above, ie Route display "freezing" and " arratick" ILS Capture. I'm using Radar Contact, flight planner is FSBuild 2.2, AS2004 4.5a & FUSIPC 3.47 .Ive reinstalled & run the Patch again , but still No Joy ?RegardsKevin

Hi all. I think I have a treat for you all. I have just released my 0505 cycle of DAFIF derived terminal procedures for the LDS 767-300. There are 1726 Airports worldwide which include a total of 2877 Sids, 1445 STARs and 5807 IAPs. An added feature is ARCs. Although the LDS aircraft does not do ARCs they have been simulated by a series of waypoints spaced 10 degrees apart. This is a beta run so back up your current procedures in case there are problems. Hello, I am posting here since I cannot log onto the Level-D forums. Anyway, I did a flight last night and noticed a lot of "flickering" when I moved my mouse around the panel, where the screen will blink or flicker wildly. It looked like this only occurs when I pass the mouse over the MCP around the FD switch. Has anyone else experienced something similar when flying. Also, another issue I came across involves the LNAV and VNAV activation. When I activated LNAV, the aircraft had trouble capturing the flight plan that I had programed into the FMC. Hi, I have been a registered member of the forums since purchasing the Level D software in February. All of a sudden I can no longer login to the forums. I tried getting a new password and that did not work so I am writing you to try and get this sorted out. I have not been active as far as posting and participating in the forum and maybe I have been removed, but I check the forums everyday and am active in that sense. Hi, i was wondering how the overall experience is concerning framerates with the level-d 767. On the Leveld website-forum the framerate topic is not for anyone to read, so there is no information to be found. My system is p2.4 with 512mb and radeon 9600 pro video. With the default 737 i have numbers between 12 and 19,9 (locked at 20) with a lot of weather and traffic.kind regards, Joost

Hi folks, I'm experiencing the following problem: I have the PIC767(FS2002) and everytime i wanna choose a sid or star the cpu usage goes up to 100% and my Computer needs many many seconds before i can move hte mouse and choose another sid star or a rwy or push the execute button; everything works as in slow motion untill i quit the dep appr page and do something else with the fmc!I'm using the AIRAC 0505; Fs2002 on a AMD XP2800+(400FSB)/1024MbRam/ATI Radeon96000Pro(256Mb)Maybe someone can help?Greets Patrick

Hello,I have just got level-d 767 and have one question. If i want to use level-d with radar contact do i need a flight planner such as fsbuild or fsnav, or can i perhaps load the flight plan in fs9 as normal, enter information into the FMC and simply switch aeroplanes. By this i mean create flight plan with a default fs9 jet-heavy and switch to level-d 767 once loaded.Sorry if this has been covered, but i'm getting some information overload symptoms and i have gone through the operations manual.Many thanks for any advice :-eekCheersDan

I cant find any reviews out there about the Level D 767!But i read through some of the specs of it on their site and WOW!!!!This is a MUST have.. my opinion after what i read about what comes along with this aircraft it seems to be the most detailed aircraft yet! but.. is there any reviews out there?or how do you folks who own it feel about it?good sides of it? any bugs?Yngve

The review says that you can save a Level-D 767 flight and start it up again without losing anything. How is that working for you 767 flyers? That is a capability I can use...

One question those shopping around for a quality 767 with FMC might have is: "Does it use the default GPS, or no GPS at all?" Different folks will be looking for different answers. The answer I hope to hear is: "There is no GPS/GNS icon or window: Don't need no stinkin' GNS." I have looked through the site and the manual, and found no hint of a GPS/GNS.If that is true, then the absence of the GPS/GNS and the capability for resuming saved flights with no loss of FMC data ought to be on the front page, above the fold, of the marketing plan, not buried in Section F between the pet obits and the Police Blotter.
