What is considered a long haul flight? When trying to plan in the configuration manager, I would like to know if a flight from PHNL to KSAN is long haul or short haul? Flight is just under four and a half hours.

Hi all,I know this has nothing to do with Level D 767, but for you simmers out there from the Hamilton, Ont area, I thought I would let you know that I spotted John Travolta's 707 parked up at John C Monroe (CYHM) airport today. I have know idea why he is here, but he is here none the less. The 707 is parked by the Kelowna Flightcraft building about 20 yards from the fence. I must say that the old Qantas colours look amazing and the plane is absolutely spotless.I highly suggest to anyone in the area, to go have a look before he's gone and hopefully the plane will be there for a few days.Man that guy has got quite the life!!Regards,Van L

Has anyone got the LVLD 786 to work in the FSX Demo? I got the LVLD plane to work but get a panel initialization error. I have all of the gauges in FSX. Do the gauges need FSUIPC or some other utility that is not in FSX? It will work with just a dummy panel.cfg. Thanks, regards, Bob.

I have already installed FS2Crew 767. I realized after I installed it I was supposed to have installed servepack 3 the manual prior to installing the main software. Ok I've downloaded the SP3. Do I uninstalled FS2Crew 767, then install the SP3, then reinstall FS2Crew. Is this the correct procedure?Thanks for your helpHarry

Hi,I can't access the restricted areas of the forum, I have registered and been on it before but for some reason it won't let me now. I just reinstalled FS2002 to my laptop and have been trying to reinstall 767 PIC.I installed the 767PIc and than the 2002 patch and when I run the program I get the following errors on start up 1:ADVDisplay.dll load yes or no 2:B767W.dll yes or no,if you answer yes to the 767 you get a CTD.Any ideas on whats wrong and why I can't load 767PIC?BTW my laptop is a Toshiba Satellite with the centro chip at 1.6 1meg ram and onboard intell video chip JeffG

Hi there,I am just wondering, I know many people have been developing tools for planning, ie weight limits, fuel loads, runway limits, derates etc for all the major addon aircraft or a few.Flight 1 ATR has a excel spreadsheet which is excellent,PMDG 744 & 744F has the Topcat planning solution for derates etc,PMDG 737 also has a product called Tomaflex which is very good and does the same above.I just think for what an amazing a/c the Level D 767 is, us simmers who like things that bit closer to the real thing are missing out on this??Is anyone developing one or does anyone use one for this awsome a/c?I just feel it is a bit of a shame really..! Would add a lot for me!…

OK..I am fairly new to heavies. I am a hardcore GA simmer. Recently, I resurrected the PMDG 747 from my hanger and spent time learning the FMS and love flying the 747. I still haven't learnt everything...but enough to fly it reasonable well. Do it bia Capt. Auto or a combination of manual and auto.Then I started digging into my old heavies and found the Capt Sim's 727 and flew that yesterday. The 727 is different in the sense that its flying like any other IFR flying.. No FMS, no GPS etc.. old fashioned hand flying. so its another way to fly the heavies.I resurrected my Phoenix sim Airbus 320. But I don't see anything special about this one so It would probably go back …

Apparently I've beena little bit finger-lazy in backi' up Mark weins' Vertigo"767 AA promo video.The video has been rejected and removed from most of the file share sites. The Wein's page has removed the link and utube leading the U2 vertigo rights protection followed the same way.Well wiser soul quicker then mine retains a copy of the vertigo 767 or knows a workable link to download it?Thanks very much indeed.

I have read the manul cover to cover and can't find a solution to my problem. On the main panel there is a button next to Nav 1 to allow you to change it from manual to auto. While flying I am unable to change it to auto. Should I be able to do this? It seems to be stuck in manual and I cannot set it to certain frequencies. The last two digits take a big jump ie: from 110.30 , 110.45. 110.85 etc. with nothing inbetween. I thought if the switch was in manual I should be able to tunean ILS freq. in the FMC but am unable to do so.Perhaps I am missing or overlooking something simple. Please excuse my ignorance but please: HELP !!! Thanks in advance. Craig

hi,the lvl-d 767 doesn't seem to have the "drag required" message. why???I just can't believe that the real world 767 are operating without this.cheersRob
