Yes folks, the Dash8 is picking up speed now. The 3D model is almost 100% and I've started on some finer details like callsigns, sounds and flight model. There is still a lot of work ahead - probably about a month before the beta is released. I have a question regarding the GeeBee cockpit. How do you go about changing the squawk? i contacted seattle approach last night on 119.2 and she gave me the squawk but i noticed on the radio that there is no area for your squawk. so how do i do this.Thanks in advance,Jim

I'm not a great fan of military planes but this Corsair has left a mark in my brain since i was a kid. If i could, I'd model one (or two) for FU3, but I'll hope someone gets interrested in this. Hi Guys,Has anyone ever done a helicopter for FU3?(or V22 or Harrier or similar VTO aircraft - not gliders in a headwind!)Would FU3 code even be able to accomodate this? Can you offset the engine thrust from forward?I am not an expert on the res files and flight models so perhap someone who is could answer!Rob.

I've uploaded this evening a small package to have AI traffic in these three airports : Heathrow, Gatwick and London City.Some of them will remain in the pattern, doing "Touch and Go".The others will fly from one of these airport to another.In the tests, we have discovered some little problems with the AI traffic, on the radio or on the taxiways.Anyway, now you will see a lot of life in this superb UK-South region.RegardsRoland Wagener

Just posting a note that I uploaded the bbx. I used the Mustang Red Racer. Thats one awesome flying machine and beautifully textured.I missed 4 of the easy hoops, so didn't beat the course. Oddly I made the hardest one(for me anyway), the hoop just over the snow capped peak.I like watching the red racer in-flight and thought you all would as well. You'll need the red racer in your plnpile to see it in the bbx.Jim B.

My latest flight at Pierce County included a glitch in ATC that has occurred several times during my time with FU3. I was initially told to "taxi to runway 34 via taxiway Alpha". OK, that seems straightforward enough. However, when I was approaching the runway threshold, ATC gave me the following information....."Beechjet Niner Lima Golf, you're on taxiway Alpha. Taxi to runway 34 via Alpha".I have also experienced this at Boeing Field.Has anyone else had a similar experience ?Also, does anyone else here sometimes have a problem with AI planes stopping on the taxiway in front of them ? I have just been making some modifications to my Petaluma package for the SanFran scenery region, and I noticed something that I had never noticed before. I'm not sure if this was simply a software glitch, or whether it applies everywhere.Basically, I had moved the blue airport designation icon to a new position when I saved the package. When I tested the modified airport, I noticed that the AI planes were landing and DISAPPEARING UNDERNEATH THE RUNWAY. Now, this normally means that the runway isn't level, but I knew that this was not the case with Petaluma. In addition, when the AI planes turned off the runway onto the taxiway, they were STILL underneath the terrain (in …

I could see the AI planes on the runway 01 in Santa Rosa at last. I had to turn off hw accelerator, because I have some problems with it, so the screens are not good quality.B.Adamski

I just discovered that some new UK packages need the presence of some files from the Seattle region. This forces us to keep the Seattle region (or at least part of it) installed. I was wondering, is it possible to make the UK region self-contained? I mean, so that we can totally remove the other regions? I would very much like to have the regions independent from each other...Is it possible to just copy all the needed files from the Seattle to the Uk folder?Cristian

Hi Folks,Been looking at the screen shots of the great UK Hi-res. Am wondering, is the river Thames really that green, or did the SF pallet somehow make it so? I was thinking that as altitude increased, the "sky" and sun luminence would eventually wash-out the green(lots of algae?) to a more "watery" color?Just curious is all.Thanks,Jim B.
