Hi again,A week or so ago I reported that I was experiencing a strange problem with panels flashing and going black on a couple of Hennies aircraft. Well since then the problem has spread to all of my installed aircraft, even the stock ones. It also now effects the rear cabin view, but only up to where the panel would have been had I been looking forward.(About half way)The problem seems to be tied up with enabling player shadow in the Cfg file. Not only do you get the problem above. You also get multiple shadows going off into the distance. Some times these shadows flash on and off. Agtim and all,I have just been using the new BGL2E program from the library and have noticed that when I close the program it is still a a "task" in XP and using 99% of CPU time (thought my framerates had dropped).I tried on 2 machines, both using XP and same problem.I went back to an earlier version of BGL2E and this closes down properly. Any ideas and anybody else seeing or noticed the problem.It closes down Ok in Windows task manager if you end the task.ThanksAndy

Hi everyone,I know this question has probably been asked a hundred times before( but I'll ask it anyway;)).Is there any way to set up FU3 to accept joystick profiler commands. Hi all,Iv just put a fuly flyabl V taile glider in the librery, it should be avalabl shortly.Its not based on a real glider, but it is still fun to fly.It flys a little bit like the Stemme without an engin, "funy that", "I wunder why" ?Inspite of it only having one sentral weel, you can still take off by simply rolingdouwn hill into wind. I am always impressed by the ATC system in Flight Unlimited 3. It certainly isn't perfect, but it is nice to see some clever programming in action now and again.For example, I have just made a quick circuit of the pattern at Livermore Municipal in my Beechjet. The normal route to the runway 25R threshold is via "One, Bravo". However, this time ATC instructed me to taxi to the runway via "One, Charlie, Two, Bravo". This seemed to be something akin to a scenic route, and at first I thought that I had accidentally deleted an AI taxiway connection on the normal route when using FLED. However, I then noticed that a Cessna 172 was making its way to runway 25L from the East Ramp…

Its been a long time since I've been here, in fact, along time since I even had chance to Fly on FU3.However.....If time allows I intend to pick up where I left off on the Liverpool project but it will probably take me some time to work out where I left off, even better now Agtim has released the new MSFS converter which is where most of the models have come from. :-)I see the forum is still quite active so off to the file library to see what I can pick up there.Andy

A new version of BGL2E (1.7) will be released in the lib soon as you can see in the pictures models with part as rgb color was not fully converted. The new version supports now the poly() function calls also. Hello everybody. I have browsed through the File Library and I have found something confusing:I thought that there are only 2 Regions for FU3: Seattle and Sanfran (for all who own FU2). Now I have heard of the "UK-South" Region?! How can I get this Region? I have found nothing in the File Library. There were only airports for that region but not the complete Region itself. This is the second time Iv bilt this, the first one was lost whenmy hard driv paced up, but this second ASW28 is much beter.Flight model, flaps, ailerons, undercarige, elevater, ruder, airbrakes,mane model, crash models, F4 vew model?, BSP cuting plains, axils, sounds, shadows, all cocpit vews, all finished.All in all its cuming along very well, in fact every time I chek out sum littledeatail on it in FU3 I forget what Im suposed to be cheking and end up just flying it for 20 minits or mor. Well here is my next question: If i install FU3, i can choose to install the FU2 Scenery to FU 3 so that i have more scenery. The problem is that my FU2 discs are not in the best state and my cddrive sometimes has problems reading them and aborts the installation. Does anybody know if there is a possibility to copy the FU2 scenery files manually to FU3? And if there is one, how does it work? Which files must be copied into which directories? Would be very nice. :)Chris

Steve Hess has made the Cessna (cessna2.zip) and Beaver (beaver sch 2.zip). It seems to me that one can't view or edit the cockpit by either Resview 1.3 or FU3 Cockpit Designer. I wanted to get rid of the transparent lines in the panel when using anti-alias settings. I could do it for all the other aircraft, but not these two. Any idea what can be wrong? It seems to me the offset where the cockpit starts in the RES files might be hidden (protected?) in some manner...Pieter
