    Firstly: That sulu "easter egg" always get's a chuckle out of me.Looking at the fbo keyboard peaked my curiousity. Before the fokker addition, there were 3 open key hooks. Following the fokker add, there were 2 hooks left open. Does this mean "out-of-the-box" Flt2 came expandable for 3 total aircraft only?As a test, I copied and edited the fokker.res. Here's a screeny as the "new" fokker appears in Flt2 Santa Rosa(fkkrBL). Oh boy that model needs re-mapped. What I could not figure out is where in the plnpile is the "ignition key" texture.     Robert and I have been working on some new buildings and I just noticed that they had reached the library. However, there's been a mistake and the SanFran palette day versions are missing. As it stands you'll find night versions (same for all regions), Seattle versions and SanFran night versions. In other words, one set of night versions too many and no SanFran day version :-(There will be more buildings soon and I intend to make versions for both palettes including a night version of each building. What I'm hoping for is a renewed interest in creating packages -- building packages that is. As the readme states, even though airports are "taken" we can always add buildings…

  5. the MODELS.RES file contains all definition about AIs.     Hi to everyone.Im Jamie and I've just discovered this website. Now that I have I dont think there will be much need for any other. Scrolling through all the forums (especially for FU3) has me foaming at the mouth and will probably result in a few late nights and excuses to the boss when I arrive late in the mornings!I have no formal flying experience but have been glued to FU3 since receiving it as a pressie at Christmas. I love reading about aviation and perhaps one day I will approach my local aerodrome with a view to gaining a PPL.     The Mooney has 2 versions of sideview with the wings.res file 149/151 for the left side and 153/155 for the right.In CockpitDesigner they are referenced as Day Unlit and Day Lit.This must be connected to the J-Key to lit the panel on/off.You can see the light going on/off in the sideviews but the wing will never change !?! It's always 149 and 153. 151 and 155 are never displayed in the game - or how ?Do you know the key or action or connection to activate this view ?I wanted to paint the speed brake up and down in the sideview. The original mooney has identical 149/151 picture but I update one of it and so realized that the second is never selected exept by cockpitDesigne…

    Like Andy, Ihaven't been around for a while and am not doing much with FU3 at the moment. But then glidernut sent me this amazing new craft.Its not completed yet (work in progress signs all over it), but once again it breaks the limits of what we could do before (well not 'we' - I couldn't build a plane although I once tried to get a blue police box to fly). What does this plane do that's different? Its got opening doors! Now that's neat, I thought we couldn't have doors in FU3, but glidernut has again proved me wrong, and with his permission as a sort of pre-publicity he's let me release some pics.     Hi,Got a new mobo, and processor. With bfg6200oc set to AA: 4x and Anis: 16x. Screen is @ 75mhz, 1152x864x32. I've got ground texture shimmering and little jaggies. You all know what would be the best settings for this card? I'll sort through the "lines in cockpit views" thing later.WinXpPro, MSI-k8t, amd64 3000+(soccckeet754), dx9c, 2g ddr400, bfg6200oc-256(driver 81.98).(dis-appointed with frames rates though.     I am sorry I havent been around for a long time and could spend pages listing the good and bad reasons why, but I wont bore you with the details. However, glad to see things are still alive and kicking.I have just installed both FU3 (original) and UKS, totally seperate installs, on a new PC and all works well apart from I have no sound. This happens in both versions. The whirring engines at the begining is ok but then after about 30 seconds, nothing, not even the "thumps" when clicking on the menu selections.Anyone have any ideas?I am also so way behind on my install of UKS so if anybody has an up to date copy I would be grateful if you could send me a copy, expenses paid…

    OK, I giv up, how do I paint a propeler?Im working on a Vidilanl motorglider, "see snapshot" and Iv given it a propeler, but how do I paint it, and make it a bit smaller?Im useing the Stemme motorglider,s physics, but nuthing in physics seemto has a visual efect on the propeler.How do I find or recogniz which file to export from the stemme res?And how do I edit the file when Iv found it?Is there enyone prepaird to do it for me?It needs to be black and wight like the second snapshot.glidernut.

    Hi folks,After searching around on here and trying the nomovie tip and eventually downloading the Indeo Codecs I still can't get FU3 to run without crashing and showing the old "FU3 has encountered a problem and needs to close" box. It's really bugging me.I have the orginal LG version and have just reinstalled after a long absence.I managed to get the movie to play but after it finishes that's when I get the error box now. It does the same thing even with the nomovie line in the .cfg file.Any ideas please? I run a Sony A117S laptop with ATI Radeon 9700 graphics on board. I updated using the Version 2 patch already.

    Hello AllI am new to AVSIM in general, so a big hello to all of you...I think that you are doing a great job with this website here.I received FU-III as a Christmas gift and it turned out to be one of the best "games" i have ever played.The point is that i can not get the P-51 off the ground no matter what. Initially i thought that this was a problem off runway length so instead of taking of from Jefferson county, i took off from 34L on BFI. The situtation improved slightly...I think that the main problem is that i do not have control over the feathering on the P-51. The manual (pdf accompanying the CDs of the game) is not very helpful and searching around for "hot spots"…

    I recently bought and downloaded flight videos ,featuring- Pilatus PC12,and Piper Meridian. Both are well worth it . goto web site www.flightvideoproductions.comThe King Air will be next one .I also made a DVD from video files I downloaded to play on any DVD player .Maybe someone would like to build one of these.
