how do you make your own planes? i understand it will be challenging, but i want to try, adn will download anything that i need to.can someone point me to where i can find out?thanks in advance!eeveeman.p.s. can i upload a plane if i make one? or does it have to be reviewed or something?

I have heard rumours, seen screenshots of them, but are they really becoming available? i really want to fly them, and i cant wait!Or have they been made and can you download them from a different website?p.s. it works on Vista perfectly, as my previous topic asked about this.

Hello everybody..I'm visiting the avsim forum for some time now and I have to state what you have created is realy amazing. I flew FUIII in the late 90's and the year 2000, but decided to do again now. So I found out about this forum and could now check out all those nice new planes... But lets come to the point, I would like to modify some outerterrean aiports. To change the airport type, frequencies,...I can use fled. But I can not edit parking spots..I'm sure there is a way to manage this, as some user have already done. Could somebody tell me how this works? Is there a special tool or can I change the user mode in fled in some way? thx in advance, feres

if some of you have been around a long time (and i know that many people have been here longer that me!) you would know that i once asked for a complete sanfran package. well ive got bored of seattle, so i want to get san fransisco on my PC.the only thing stopping me is copyright, now i never do my homework so im probably wrong here;if i could prove that i had the game, which is meant to have the san fran pack, could it be legal to send me the pack?or is that #### copyright still being arkward.if it is technically legal, who would be willing to send me the pack?i hope theres someone out there that can help me

hey all im always making new airoprts, but i can never quite understan the numbers and gibberish in the aiplan for the reigion.can anyone explain the numbers so i can make efficient plans.

Whenever I try to go into cockpit view (F2, F3), the game will crash. I used an backed up and clean version, and it was fine, then I put all my custom aircraft on it and it crashed. The AN-2 virtual cockpit was a incredible amount of work, lots of details and pictures to create and adjust. Comparing some planes I found planes with incompatible texture files.ResViewer and Cockpit Designer can't open it and the hex values looks strange. These is for all planes designed by Steve Hess having name with SCH.FU3 itself can display the texture in the game but not the tools.I am starting modification to Gideon's ResViewer and wanted to support this graphic format but no idea what it is. With all the upgrades of hardware nowdays ,I found out that FLED wil not work with resolutions of new and larger monitors . If you have a problem with fled crashing ,make sure you set monitor to 1024x768 before trying.I found this out because ,I had to move my parking spot in PAE ,too many moving objects getting in way .I fly ILS from Port angeles to PAE quite often usually at dusk in bad weather.If i fly reverse course ATC controller sends me flying into the mountain ridge and end up crashing into side of mountain .I need ground WARNING SYSTEM installed or night vision display.Happy flying ALLCaptRolo

Jim,Thanks for uploading this. The DR-1 is a plane I've always kinda feared as it is harder to fly than many taildraggers and impossible to land most of the time. No wonder it was mostly flown at dawn, before the winds came up ;)We recently took a trip to the Oz War Museum in Canberra and they have a fair bit of stuff on aircraft, including the DR-1, of all things. i am new to avsim, but i have been playing FU3 for years. I am wondering, why does my game kepp on crashing?it never crashed, then i downloaded a couple things, it was fine, downloaded a few more, and it started crashing every second flight. Hi guys,The new system I told you guys about a month and a half ago arrived DOA. It probably could have been saved but their customer support was terrible. It went back and I ordered a new Dell XPS 720 "Red" system which just arrived on Christmas eve. I just got the Vista security to allow me to log onto these forums a few minutes ago. I'm still learning Vista... it looks like a champ but wont be until I know how to find my way around.Maybe you guys can help me out here. The developer has added the ability to open Looking Glass Studios "e" format.I tested on a Thief2 "e" file and worked ok. The tool doesn't appear to support gif.
