    Hi,I'd like to buy the program "Europe Scenery Pack" for FS2002 but I have some questions to ask you : - If I buy "Europe Scenery Pack", do I have to buy FS LandClass ? Can I only use "Europe Scenery Pack" ?- How much is "Europe Scenery Pack" ?- How to use this pack ? Is it "ready-to-use" or do I have to do a lot of work to use it with FS2002 ?- How is the pack file size to download ?- Once I've downloaded the "Europe Scenery Pack" ONLY, what do I have to do to use it with FS2002 ?     I've been unsuccessfully trying to get autogen scenery to show up on my photo mosaic textures. I'm using Architect 2002 and a Photo Mosaic of DXT1 textures. I've used the Autogen utility in FSSDK to define vegetation and building areas but nothing shows when I go into FS2002. Any ideas?

    can somebody please help mei have followed the the v0.20b fsregen pdf, installed middleman made the temp folder ectmade the triangle and scenery in gmax eported it into the fsrgen folder with keep all files ticked, the rest all defultsopened regen opened the "temp file"(temp asm) and in the 2 select mapping color dropdown box there is nothing to selectwhat am i doing wrong? is it that my settings in middle man are wrong or is it something else.Thanks

    Hi Guys, I'm really DesperateI have fought and battled to make my sceanery, using Arch2002 and Airport 2.6, treachous learning curve!!!!!Not a large airfield, two hangers and two Portacabin buildings, ideal first project I thought.Now in order to get decent frame rates, 24fpm, using Gary Summons Birmingham (EGBB), as a comparision. I am having to put to many details that I have constructed on to either, dense or very dense.     Hi,Following some excellent advice from Arno, I downloaded and am using Groundmaker 4.0 beta with great results, I have now decided to redesign the whole airport!Now need some parked aircraft (the place is very lonely) I can't face designing 20 Gmax planes just for parking around around the place so I thought would try the API macro thing. Its worked fine for the odd horse and parked car but none of the parked aircraft seem to work.Everything compiles OK but nothing shows up, could it be the texture files? (they are ?AF I thought about replacing them all with DXT and editing the API text to match)Any ideas?Geoff

    Hi,I have made all the taxiways and runways in my update for Dubai Intl. (FS2000) but I can't get the taxiway lines to show. I have the green center-line lights at night but during the day nothing. I tried using textured roads, then textured taxiways with a width of 1m. I've been fiddling with the layers as well but it isn't helping. I'd appreciate any help.Cheers.

    Hi Bob:It's been awhile and my FL project is coming along nicely now. Thank You. If you're interested I'll send a screenshot or two of some of my creations.I started looking for a different scenery software that I could use in both FS2000 and FS2002. The primary reason for my quest is that ASD is eliminating the TZ lighting at those airports where it exists in the default .bgl and ASD doesn't support that feature and I'm not computer smart enough to attempt to alter the scasm code...at least not yet.As you know, I've been using ASD and I recall that you recommended Airport 2.60 in another thread (which seems to be the standard as far as available macros are concerned) …

    Hi to all, this is my 1st post in this forum and I have seen that it is attendend by very friendly and, most important, qualified designers.The reason of my post here is to know whether someone has got an idea on how to make the taxy signs (the FS2K2 default yellow stripes on the ground) made via scasm command "TaxiMarkings" to look larger, for I made them in my scenery , but they are really very thin. I have tried to change the scale factor in "Refpoint" but it also changes the lenght of each section and the stripes are even misplaced.I only need to increase the width of the stirpes: do You think it could be done increasing the size of the default taxisigns bitm…

    John Dow has done such a good job of improving the colours in my ACT scenery that I had to upload it so it was available. It blends very well with the surrounding default scenery.I have uploaded my scenery to my old site as ACT2k_col.ZIP.     Hi all.As promised, fsregen will now make the shadows look right.Use polygons on the ground to add taxilines, skidmarks, illuminated spots grass or anything else you like.Make sure all points have a height of 0 (in gmax). Then click on "Ground Polys" and the resulting scenery will display correctly with shadows falling on top.No need to use the ZBIAS_ prefix in the material editor; it will be done for you.The method I followed dependent on the number of polys on the ground, improves frame rates too.There is more optimization that can be done, but the new X-plane is out... :-)Hope you enjoy it.Thanks to Derek and Arno for talking about it...Georgehttp://www.nhreas.com/imag…

    Hi all.My "Nevada" (as in test place) has now concrete all over and a very nice large pond...It works by defining rectangle areas in gmax (don't forget to convert them to editable meshes).Use the method described in the (urgently needing update) manual with "special materials". Select "Ground Type" in the dropdown list of step 3 and select the desired ground type (in parameters): CONCRETE, GRASS_LANDABLE, WATER, GRASS_BUMPY, ASPHALT, GRASS_SHORT, GRASS_LONG, HARD_TURFI rewrote all the math stuff greatly improving accuracy but bugs are expected :-)Hope you enjoy it.George

    Hi,I'm updating Dubai Intl. FS2000 came woth only one runway. I built my airport using Apt 2.60 and made the AFD and exclusion file to go with it. The exclusion works to get rid of the visual aspect of the original airport but despite everything I try the fequencies are still active and I can't get the old airport to disappear from the Flight plan page. So instead of two runways I have three! I would apprecaite any help on this.Cheers.

    hello,As you know FS snaps points of polygons and that results in non alligned taxilines for exemple. Actually I am trying desperatly to trace lines that touch each others perfectly. In my scenery program they are touching each others but FS snaps the point to a specific coord that results in spaces between lines that should be touching.The only way to fix them is to make trial and erros and move the points in the scenery program then recompile and reload in FS2002 to see how it looks in FS and that takes forever with FS2002 loading time...So do you have any idea or trick on how to get around this issue?Is there any spcific rule of thumb that FS uses for that?Thanks!Miche…
