    Hi all,I am trying to learn Gmax and created a square planar polygon but when I see it in FS2002, it has the bleedthrough problems with the ground terrain... It's the Z-Bias bleedthrough... How can I have the ground polygon properly displayed without any bleedthrough problems? Thanks...

    HiIm working on a hospital scenery and have made a ground polygon in FSDSV2 and from there made a .api, i want it to be able to see the shadow of the aircraft on the polygon.     ...by testing a scenery!My first airport project ESMK has been available in version 1 for a couple of weeks now, and the feedback has begun to come in. I have discovered that one problem is common - the Autogen forrest on my areas created with LWMDraw does not always show up. In fact, some users have reported that all autogen is gone for miles and miles!The scenery/autogen works perfectly in my own FS2002 Pro installation, and I have not been able to force the problem.     Im back doing scenery in Gmax after an absence, and I can't seem to figure out how to map to textures to one object.Can anyone directo me to a good tutorial...Ive searched this forum threads and some Web pages, but they dont seem to follow Gmax 1.2, which makes it kidna confusing.Any help would be greatly appreciated.ThanksJohnW

    Arno, Great program bumpy! Thanks for making it! I have a little problem with it though. I'm using FS Architech 2002 and Created a scenery with that. I have the raw .sca file I used the program once when I had only one texture in the scenery that I was using as an asphalt. Then I needed to make some turn a bouts and either end of the runway and textured them with diffrent textures now these are polygons as is my ramps when I select the textures to in bummpy I am getting a runtime error 5? Pleae help! I need to smooth out those turnabouts. also to note I think your tools are just great! You are an invaluble asset to the FS scenery design community as to us newbies as well …

    I'm ok with making 3-D models and airports etc. What I need help with is implementing roads and trees.Firstly, am I right in thinking that best way way to add roads is to change the bitmaps? Secondly, is there an easy way to do forests in FS2002? What I'd like to do define a boundary and fill it with trees. Is this possible? May be it would be too heavy. I'd appreciate help in any form.J

    Hey fellow flight sim fans and scenery designers. I took a stab and dove in! I am currently working on my home Airport KHDI and I am looking for some nice macros to put in there. I got the default from nova and FS Archietect but looking in particular for and AirBP fuel pump and a JET A fuel tank anyone give me a holler in this post here's a picuture of a days work!

    Hi there,Does anyone know of a scenery design program that does the same job as apt 2.6 or groundmaker, but that uses the new (ish!) asm/bglc code so that the sceneries it produces will work with FS COF? I'm pretty sure there's nothing freeware yet, but have i missed a payware package somewhere. Just to make myself clear, i'm not talking about a gmax/fsds2 type program but one that'll do runways, roads, taxiways, taxilines etc. If not, d'you you know of any soon to be released?

    I have created numerous objects in FSDS2 and then converted them to API files for placement using "Airport". Problem I am having is that if object is 5 units by 1 units sometimes when I place it in Airport it is 5 x 5. Problem is as users taxi up to building in question, they encounter a building crash before getting to visible building. What am I missing? Thanks for your help.

    HELP I'm getting rather desperate...In my extended quest to change the shoreline in I think one single cell (which I have yet to accomplish after two weeks of trying different progs) I downloaded the new Ground2K.Now, I take my background image (256x256 pixels) and enter the NW and SE coordinates (60,4475 46,0551 60,4331 46,0069) and press OK.I get the following message: Error (507): Points to be verifiedI want to cry, my scenery is almost complete, but I just cant make a f...... coastline, sniff, buhuuuuu, buhuuuuu, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!Thanks in advancehalabraham

    Hey guys, I am working on some scenery for my VA and along with everything else, made some new tree macros, I know enough about SCASM to delete the shadowcall since it is in a block shadow and not defined by the shape of the alpha.     As usual probably my error but I cannot find it. The picture below shows that the shoreline while visible is not de-marcing the land from the water, Using Line/shore with 109 lake/white sand texture. Land On Right not checked. Join not checked. Assume the the LWM poly water/land selection have no effect - I tried them and no effect. VTP2 & VTP1 not selected. Where water interfaces to some textures the elevations are higher than the general lake elevation. I laid down LC out into the lake and ran the shore line through this area but same results - land appears on both sides of the shoreline.Dick

  19. I am in the final stages of a version 1 detailed design of Vancouver International Airport2003 to replace my previous version. It is at my beta testers at the moment and I hope to upload it in the next week or so. The previous version added various features to the default scenery using ASD2.1. This version is completely new using Airport Build160, which I find a far superior design program. Version1 CYVR2003 covers the airfield and north terminal buildings plus the two large Air Canada hangers. Maybe it's easier than I think but since I ak just starting to get my feet wet with custom terrain design, I have no idea what these are! Pardon my ignorance!Also, no matter what I do, I still can't get my AutoGen to show up!!!I have my AutoGen setting in FS2002 set to the MAX!! I have AutoGen everywhere except on my custom terrain...I am using Terrabuilder and the AutoGen Annotator..   23. Salt Lake - created a shoreline for a few miles. and compiled and displayed ok in FS2002. Added several points to it and the program hangs during the compile on xxxx_3.bgl file. In a loop verified by use of 99% of CPU time.Dick
