  1. Hi, I think I saw that you connot do this but I need to ask. I have a bunch of buildings I have placed on 99V, USA. I have a separate BGL for each bldg. They are all close to each other except two at the other end of the airport (abt 4000 ft). I would sure like to make one BGL for all of them. Of course the rextures will have to remain independent, none are shared to now. The BGLs are in FS2004Addon Sceneryscenery and the textures are in FS2004Addon Scenerytextures.I'm afaraid to just try it cause I've seen posts that radical things could blow FS's files and require reload. A big No-no.I would appreciate any advice. I would like to upload this project if its clean enoug…

    hi,I noticed that some FS9 default airport files are classified by AFCAD2.21 not STOCK but already MOD.First question is: why?I noticed also that in this condition all applied modifications are not effective because the AF2_xxxx file can disable the STOCK but not the already MOD.Try it with INNSBRUCK airport.All suggestions are welcome.

    Hi FS designers!I have redrawn an island in Ground2K4. The default was not in exactly the right place. But the problem is that after redrawing the island there is some missing land along my new coastline. My procedure has been as follows:1. Make a watermask around the island to cover the default island2. Make a new coastline choosing Poly with shore and LWM = Land /Witdh=64/Layer=323.     Hi, I have suceeded in placing custom buildings with Gmax and want some area trees, not the autogen ones on the airport/airpark area. I did make a conical spruce with Gmax but it had lotsa faces which may affect frame rate if I place too many. Surely there is a way to get trees another way. The airport was reworked with Afcad to bring it from a 25' gravel strip to a 60' wide rwny with proper taxiways. Excludes were used to remove the FS generic buildings and place most of the houses & hangars here using Gmax. I used photo-realistic texturing by taking digital pix and working with Paint Shop Pro.     Hi Ive just installed some new photo scenery and basically where each photo texture is there is a black line around it.Interestingly though it only seems to display like this on my Nvidia card where ATI users dont seem to have this problem.I think the textures were saved in DXT1 format. Would they being in DXT3 format make any difference at all?Im using the newest nvidia drivers but even when I went down a few revisions it still didnt seem to make a difference.Any idea?Ive read some posts on here about black lines and that the positioning of the texture had to be correct etc but then they wouldnt display ok on ATI cards either I guess if that was the case.ThanksCraig

    I have been using AFCAD for a while and, as many of you know, you cannot import buildings into the scenery in it.How can I create an airport in AFCAD and then add some buildings or macros around it, what programs do you suggest, I'm currently using FSSC but its buggy and cumbersome.FSSC allows to build everything (including runways) but I'd like to keep using AFCAD for runways, taxiways and parking.Will it present a conflict in FS2004 having several BGL files in proximity (coordinates), how can I handle layers in the scenery.cfg file to make a scenery visible over anotherThank you

    Can I use G2K4 without having to put a background image into it? I would just like to draw the roads by hand while looking at a map. The problem, believe it or not, is that I don't have a compatible word processing program on my computer so I don't get any of the illustrations in Ground 2K4 for Beginners. It makes it kinda hard to figure out. I was experiencing frustration trying to get it working with a background image.This will be the finishing touch on 4 airport sceneries that I will release soon.     Hi out there!After redrawing my greek island Skiathos half of the runway of Skiathos Airport is placed in the Sea. Can anybody recommand a program that makes it possible to fix this problem?     Hi everybody,I have made a new tool, Library Creator XML.This tool gives you a GUI to make libraries in the new Fs2004 XML format.     I know one can use LWMview to find LWM files bur where would one look to find highway and streams. The reason I am asking is while I am making scenery I want to be able to disable default scenery. Take the North East for example what area is coverd per BGL? What file removed Roads what file removes streams, and so on. I hope someone has been searching this area and has an easy answer. I want to remove the area around West Virginia and want to know how far in each direction I must go.I guess it is not possable to for example to edit each LWM and VTP ASM file to tell FS to disable area in each file.Any help here?Richard

    Finally, I've done it. I can now export roads from ESRI ArcMap into FS2004. One thing I noticed is that my roads don't connect perfectly in FS2004, i.e. I get dangles, although I corrected all the roads in ArcMap, so they are connected. Anyone else experienced this? Maybe it has to do with the accuracy of VTP lines?Rhumbaflappy, did you come up with BGLC macros for the "sub_wide_points", or what ever we call them? I had a quick search, but couldn't find your macros. If you have written macros already.
