Hi to all: I am making the flight tests of my new FS2002 C-141B. I have found some problems with the fuel system. The airplane has 10 tanks of fuel. That were assigned in the fs2002 as following:CENTER 1/2, L/R MAIN, L/R AUX, L/R TIP, EXTERNAL 1/2.The airplane uses all fuel of all tanks less L/R TIP tanks, even placing the fuel selector in those tanks. I check the aircraft.cfg and the parameters are correct with MS SDK.Some suggestion?. From already thank you very muchJose

Well,I'm sitting here at college wishing I had the time to fly, and I thought to my self, "I want to go program something besides Scheme."I was thinking of doing a INS, except the only problem is there is very little info on them online. I was thinking of doing the ones found in the B747-200/300... I'm pretty sure that the 200 had a LTN-72 (though they seem to have, for the most part, been updated to the 92) and the 300 would more than likely use the LTN-92. The problem I'm having right now is just the general lack of info on these units. I have one source that says the LTN-92 can store up to 99 waypoints, yet I found an article in "Service News" about the Hercules bei…

I have a problem with altitude gauge. I have a gauge where is needle and numbers. Numbers are made with a mask and sliding image. But when my gauge shows 9 which is the last number in image. It doesn't start from 0 again. It just slides to up and comes back when I descend lower. So it doesn't go around. There is same kind of altimeter in b747(??) as standby_altimeter. And I don't understand that code.Maybe somebody could be nice and advice me a little bit about that code?-JukSii-

Everyone: I apologize for messing up the Bravo update. If you downloaded the update before November 4, I ask that you update again. A few of the polygons in the nose were corrupted in my haste to add the deice vents. I will be more careful from now on. In the mean time, here is a current screenshot. Kaydub

Ok, Here's the problem, I have a completed wing on which I have to add the flaps for animation. I had detached the flaps for ease in renaming them, however, I have since readjusted my wing depth and therefore my flaps don't match the exact profile of the wing anymore. So I figure, no problem, I'll just add polygons to the wing in the flap locations and detach and rename them again. Well, with the wing selected, for some reason when I go to add a polygon, gmax won't allow me to select the vertices that I need to add the new polygons. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can create a new object such that the profile matches the exact shape of the void in the picture below…

Got back to work on the Saab today. I figured out why the cockpit windows looked wrong and revised them for about the 11th time. Then I started working on the gear. I spent ages learning to use Applied IK to do a nice compression animation, and it looks beautiful...in GMax. Unfortunately, the gear doesn't appear at all in FS.Below is a shot of the Track View heirarchy, which shows all the names and how things are linked. You can see the animations...the top part is animated for extension from 0-100, and then there's a bunch of animation of other parts from 100-200 for compression. In FS, it looks like the gear is either permanently retracted or invisible...I can't s…

I just spent a very pleasant afternoon testing out the latest two bizjet offerings and am extremely pleased with both! The new GMax Lear 45 and the Citation Bravo are both worthy additions to my little hanger. I look forward to incorporating them into my AI flight lineup, as well as an occasional 'long hop' cross-country.The Lear 45 is quite nicely done, and the VC is quite clear. I made one small change (personal preference!) and replaced the engine display in the VC with the EFIS, as I seem to be spending more and more time in the VC... I'd really like to know where I'm headed! :)The Citation Bravo is also quite nicely done - especially for a 1st effort! - and has a ve…

The main gear on my P39 needs to retract 90 degrees, and then rotate toward the rear several degrees to line it up with the well in the wing. I have done rolling wheels and normal retracting gear, but in this case I am not sure how to approach it. If someone could please give me some hints, I will take it from there. I have AA and SDLedit.Should I wait for the new version of FSDS?Thanks,John Woodward

When making polygons to fill an area, is it required that they contain either 3 or 4 points? Is it permisible for a polygon to contain many points? For example, for a floor or bulkhead, can the whole thing be a single polygon instead of filling it with rectangles and triangles? My models are getting large. This is for FSDS.Thanks,John Woodward

The Board of Directors and pilots of Metro Helicopters would like to sincerely thank all of the talented aircraft repainters and designers who submitted entries in our Livery Design Competition!Deadline for submissions was 1 November. All designs will now be reviewed by the Metro Helicopters Board members, and the winning design will be adopted by Metro for use on all aircraft. We will request actual designs from finalists for a test flight, prior to a decision on the winning design. The winning designs (and the designers) will be highlighted on the Metro Helicopters web site, and will be included in other promotional information and press releases that may be distributed.…

Hi,Does anybody knows if out there is a Project Magenta like programm but dedicated to the first generation of Efis Panel, with the classic " T " layout still using some analog gauges, like the Airbus A 310 one, or B767-200 or B737-400 or a lot of turbo prop commuter and so on....I know that I might run the generic gauges on a second computer, but they are not seriously made and the update rate does not allow to Fly by hand in IFR condition and that solution needs a second fast computer able to run FS2002.XP Reality just brought out a demo of a B737 ADI, which runs very well but as far as I know it would not run by itself without FS2002 on a second computer. I asked Enric…
