    Anyone can point me to a good A300-600 (aircraft, sound and panel) in American Airlines colors. I know of Project Airbus V3.0. Is there a repaint in AA colors?ThanksEd

    Hi all,Someone must have asked this question before but I couldn't find any reference to it in the archives so...Question is simple: how do you simulate an APU in an FS panel. Basically what i'm looking for is an Event which makes the battery everlasting. I've heard of somebody adding a third "virtual" engine to the aircraft and use that, but there must be an easier way to solve this problem ! Right ?Thanks for the help !Bj

    Hi,I downloaded the Garmin Radio stack gauges by GeRon Brainware and while the Audio Panel gauge and the Transponder gauge work OK, the GNS530 and GNS430 gauges won't "turn on". I get nothing but a blank screen on their displays, although when I click the buttons, I get an audible "click" sound. I've followed the instructions to the letter and copied the quartz.ttf and glassga.ttf into my Windows (98SE) folders. I've also tried them out on different panels and planes and nothing seems to work. Has anybody else got these gauges to work, and if so,could you please help me out?thanks,Mikey

    Hello-I am currently altering an aircraft, and am wondering how I can change the flap detents. I wish to make an aircraft have detents of 1,5,15,20,25,30 degrees, and the aircraft has something like .5/1/15/20/25/30. How can I change this?Thank you very much.-twilky

    If this has been asked before, I'm sorry to bring it up again. I got back into MSFS after a long lay off. The last sim I had was MSFS200 and FLY! (never got to FLY2). One thing I have noticed thus far was the panels in FLY! were absolutely gorgeous and looked almost real compared to FS2000/2002. MS's panels look jagged even with anti aliasing ON all the way. Some are OK, but some of the panels I have downloaded really look bad.I'm not pro-FLY or anything, as when I had FLY! I still wanted MSFS because there seemed to be more support for it, and so on. So is it just me? Or are the MSFS panels just, well -- always jagged looking? -GL

    Has anyone seen or done this mod for FS2002 or FS2000 ??? Talk about wing loading -- this would be an awesome model to fly. If there's a good Edwards AFB, you could take the 747 up to altitude and select [change aircraft] then fly the shuttle to a landing. SO HERE'S THE CHALLENGE IN ALL ITS GLORY:

    Sorry to spam you people today, but I'm working on a specific historical airliner and while I'm doing that I also want to experiment with various kind of stuff.The question is actually straight forward: "I know it's possible to make gauges clickable in the VC, how do I do that?"Thanks in advance for the effort!

    I have built a taildragger with a rectractable tire in FSDS2. The tailgear and parts have been tagged with "C_wheelstear". It turns fine, but I do not want it to turn when it is in the gearbay. Anyone know how to make it stop turning when it is retracted?Thx

    Hi,I am working on PFD and I have expericienced a strange problem with a pdf card mask and pdf top with white ticks. The pfd card mask have I done by doing a half first then copy it and mirror it and put them together so each half is the same. The pfd card mask image is 99 *120 pixels, each half is 48 pixels and I have 1 pixel centerline in Y-line.The pfd top with the ticks is copied from the top of the pfd card mask image 99 * 24 pixels and I have white painted and areas with ticks above the 1-1-1 black mask area in this picture it is blue. The black color used in the pfd top is 0.0.0 ie transparent as I just put it over the pfd card imageIt seems that the top grows a …

    Hallo,I'm trying to modify the autoflare gauge of Nick Pike's beautifull C4SST for the Boeing 767-300.As i understand several of you helped programming.Now i suffer from nausea and headache, only to read and understand the code.There are 9 G Var's.If someone is willing to outline the stuff, i would be very gratefull!Most parts i understand and are working ok for my plane, but i wrestle with the part that describes the flare.This code, perhaps familiar?:(G:Var1) if{ -1500 (>G:Var3) (G:Var2) 40 == if{ -2300 (>G:Var3) } (A:RADIO HEIGHT,feet) (G:Var2) < if{ (A:ELEVATOR TRIM PCT,number) -16384 * d (G:Var3) + int (>K:AXIS_ELEV_TRIM_SET) (G:Var2) 85 - (>G:Var2) } …

    Hi all,Can someone write me an XML gauge which does the following:(a bit in VB style, I think it's the best way to describe it)If WingsAreFolded = True then Throttle%Max = 10% 'or 5% has to be decided yetElse Throttle%Max = 100%End ifWhat I want to accomplish here is that if the wings are folded then the aircraft shouldn't be able to reach a speed beyond the taxispeed.Thanks in advance.[/Edit]Also, can someone point me to a link of a tutorial on how to write XML gauges. Some dummy guide or so. I know quite a few programming languages (C#.NET, Java, JSP, PHP, VB & VBA), but I've never tried XML (which is what? a structure language?). Thanks!

    I am going to build the yak52TW instead of the 52W and it will also be my last plane EVER! I hope Bill can find me a good picture of a yak52TW panel so I can use it and if he would like to. I will find him any aircraft picture of his choice. Bill you name the plane and I will find you a picture and all the specifications on just for finding me a yak52TW's panel picture. I am going to begian in the morning on the model of the yak52TW. I have a good 3view of the plane and I will use it and I will post any screenshots when they become ready. P.S. I will upload the finished plane here and on other FS2002 sites

    See the following post - http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/DCForumID13/1222.html#5 .John Cillis has been trying to get ultralights to fly as AI. He did some digging and found that inserting section 1199 into the *.air file, the ultralights flew the flightplans.This is interesting, in that, I thought I read that section 1199 wasn't used in FS2002.

    OK folks... I've been talking to a few simmers about this one for awhile now, and its official we are going forward witht he GMAX ALL FLEX (whatever that means) DC-10, and maybe MD-11. Preliminary work suggests that this is going to be a long process, so here we turn to the ever so helpful and UNITED, flight simming community. We need pics, big and small,, technical drawing and cutouts mainly. I have the usual what you would find on the net, but we are gonna need some serious plans, flaps, gears, slats, you name we need it. Anyone out there from the original FFG DC-10 design, if you have somehting that would help, it would be greatly appreciated. if I had one wish I would…
