    Hello to all: I am making a gauge so that it works in FS2002. This is the mach indicator. It is of type of vertical sliding with the digits in the means. I programming in "C" The problem is that when I use the gauge the digit disappears for a moment and then reappears when the MACH change. For MACH 0.701 to .708 the numbers don't see. In 0.709 the numbers appear and they see up to 0.710, in 0.711 disappear until 0.718 and so forth. I made 2 gauges one of 2 digits (MACH 0.00) and one of 3 (MACH 0.000), in both it passes the same thing. In that of 2 digits each 0.08 and in that of 3 digits each 0.03. In FS2000 work fine. Is somebody able to help me?…

    Greetings,How do you edit the panel CFG to lower the default view of the panel, i.e. so you can see more of the runway. I find that some of the panels available to download are too high up in the screen for me thus blocking too much runway visability?Many thanks in advanceMothEGLL

    HiI've found how the variables (A:NAV1 GLIDE SLOPE ERROR,enum) and (A:NAV1 RADIAL ERROR,enum) if used in localizer deviation code could become useful, but the question is - should I? I mean, in "normal" FS standard I get full localizer reception coverage from a airport located 20NM to the south, with it's beam pointing to the west. "Normal" code I've seen (baron HSI) seem to use the valid,bool type of checks, which to me doesn't seem to "behave" well. _IF_ I've understood the world of avionics correct.Should I use the valid,bool checks no matter what, or should I "divide" the reception between a colocated LLZ/DME so that I can "flag" the vadility (?) of the localizer sign…

    Hey,i am working on a saab 2000 model for some time.the model will include full walk through interior cabin.but ig ot some strange reactions in FS, furst the fuse and all the interior are just invisible, not mirorred inside oue, just cant be see!.the transpanrent part i made "see through" in the object propertis arecompletley black, and props arent working, i see onl the disk all the time. and i am sure i name them correctly...please help me ;)

    I am developing a GMAX Lear-35 for all you simmers. However, I have some detail added as far as shape goes for the panel. I need to know what gauges are which, etc. Anyone know of how this instrument panel should be? Also, in pictures I haven't seen the gear lever. I must be blind. Can anyone shed some light?     Hi,I notice that on a lot of 3rd party panels (designed for and running on FS2002), that even though they have a VOR2 gauge, it never works - is there something I have to do, or a file I have to have to make the VOR2 work ok? VOR 1 is always fine, but rarley does the VOR 2 work.Many thanks.

    I might be off base posting this question in this forum but I'm sure I can get an answer at this location. I'm a fairly novice user. It concerns ai aircraft. In the texture folder there are two bitmap files, one labeled with a "T" and one labled with a "L." I'm fairly certain that the T stands for texture but what does the L file do? The reason I ask, is that I downloaded a complete set of Northwest ai aircraft from the unofficial Project AI site and all of the aircraft only have the "T" file. There's no explaination in the readme. Can I take an "L" file from another texture folder of the same aircraft and use it in the Northwest texture folder of a similar aircraft? If t…

    Hi All, I have a few add-on a/c that sit several feet off the ground (FS2K2) and was wondering if anyone could explain how to bring them back to earth.     A few newbie questions;Is it possible to build aircraft in 3DSmax 4 and then save my work as a 3Dstudio file and import the 3Dstuidio file into GMax.I use MAX4 every day so I know the program inside out but don't know GMax at all - I assume it's a restricted version of 3DStudioMax.Also - this will be my first attempt at building an aircraft, I know Max4 and photoshop very well so the art side of things shouldn't be too much of a problem, however when it comes to creating an air file, getting all the gauges working etc. I have no idea.     Hey all!I'm having problems with water rudders in my Amphibian Maule. No matter what I try, I can't get them to work in any way. They are not retracting with SHIFT+W and not rotating via rudder either. What also confuses me is that in MakeMDL SDK the animation tags for both movements are the same water_rudder_rotate. IS this how it should be?Could someone tell me the animation tag names for different parts needed for working water rudders? Would be highly appreciated!!
