is it possible to do it? I have two copies of fs2002.cfg, one is the one I use when using the Yoke for jets, the other is configured for GA aircraft. Is there any start parameters that go with fs2002.exe? something like fs2000.exe /s xxx.cfg or something like that.Thanks,

Hi all,I bought Battle of Britain Memorial Flight today and would like to change the night illumination of the 2D gauges (and 2D cockpit) of the Chipmunk (no VC in this aircraft). These gauges appear to be older style ones that default to the (imho horrid) "pink" tinge at night. I realise I can solve this with the "night=" and "luminance=" parameters in the panel.cfg file, but what I am after are some suggestions of what RGB colours to try please.At present I'm trying a soft antique "yellow / green" lighting effect using 219,253,168 (give or take a few points here and there for fine tuning). Thanks Mikko for the Lake Amphibian 3-view. I think I can really make something from it.I have the P39 ready to upload. It is a big package, and the Seabee took four attempts because of broken connections. Maybe late at night?I might take a short vacation and try out some of the new Alaska scenery before starting the next plane. I am thinking of doing a quick update of the Ercoupe and give it a metal finish, possibly a real VC. Whatever I learn from that might be used on the Lake.John Woodward

I tried to locate the answer, but could not. How do I remove a virtual cockpit from an aircraft if I do not want it? My problem is that I changed the panel, but the virtual cockpit stayed. Thanks.

A little update on how the Long Eze (with small mods) is going. I am now tinkering with a panel for it. Nothing outstanding, but helps to set the mood. I was able to get the OK from the gentleman who's air file I am using, therefore if there is any interest I would consider uploading this when completed. I figured out how to change the night lighting color of the cockpit but now how do I make my gauges emit a red color inside the instrument itself? I gather that I will need to supply a custom bitmap in the XML gauge that has the colors I want. Can someone please explain how to do this in detail?Thanks!Enrique

Is there a way to set up a 2nd view in FS 2002? I know you can have the small windows open, but is there a way to project the view from those windows onto a polygon or a surface?????

Does anybody know how to create dynamic shine on an aircraft? I am trying to achieve what PSS did on their Dash 8 Project. I know how to use alpha layers and such to create the relective textures, but I want to learn how to create the dynamic shine. Thanks for all your help that contributes!Greggory

Hello,I can't see the landing lighting from the virtual cockpit. Why? I noticed that even from the 2D cockpit they are not always visible. The necessary condition for them to be seen from the 2D view is to have parts named Light.Landing. As for the virtual cockpit - I can't achieve anything but the complete darkness.Does anybody have an idea ? The default models do have LL from VC.Dimitri
