    I've searched numerous forums without much success as far as hydraulics go. Apparently the hydraulics are run electrically off the pump which is virtually part of the engines (if I understood it right), according to the SDK. Here's my issue... I need the hydraulic indicator to show a drop in hydraulic pressure everytime a hydraulic component is activated, notably the flaps and gear. I haven't been able find anything in the SDK's or online indicating how do accomplish this. Any ideas?Along the same lines, if my airplane loses an engine and has only one remaining engine, hydraulics should take twice as long to actuate. How would I do this? Can this be done with XML?T…

    I need to add some drag with the gear extended. Probably a pitch change along with it. I used the editor that came with FSDS2 to open up the air file, and found lines for gear drag coefficient and gear pitch factor. I entered values from similar aircraft.However, extending and retracting the gear has no effect on the speed or pitch, even though the gear does visibly function and has the right contact points.The plane is based on the 182 air file, and I think now that the Mooney or 182RG might have been a better choice. I wonder if there is some other data that I have missed. I also wonder if I should be using a different editor.Thanks,John Woodward

    hey all, I was wondering if it is possable to repaint one of abacus corporate pilot planes just for your own personal use? It would not be shared or passed on? If so, how can you do it using paint shop pro? I have tried but then when I load my repaint up in FS2002 the plane shows all gray. If any one could help me i would surly appreciate it. Thanks jj

    Hi!I've a question about a smoke gauge:It must toggle the smoke on or off, depending on the fuel flow. If fuel flow is greater than 0, it should turn the smoke switch on, and otherwise, it should turn it off.When starting the engines, it turns the toggle on. That's ok. But then, if you have also a visible switch, where you can see the value of the (A:Smoke,bool), you see that the switch jumps from 1 to 0 and back, many times in one second. Why doesn't it just keep in 1 position???Then, when turning off the engines, the toggle sometimes keeps in 0, sometimes in 1 position. So, the smoke isn't always turned off.     Dear All,A bit random really - but thought you might just know something or someone!All the FS2002 aircraft I can find use a simpler DME than I have in my Warrior I fly at School. The FS2002 DMEs I have found only will slave from the main Nav Radios 1 and 2. I'm looking for a simulation on the KN64 which additionally allows you to put in a frequency to the DME box directly when in the "Freq" position. (ie Supports modes FREQ-NAV1-NAV2)Do you have an aircraft with such a DME box? Know where to get one?Any help appreciated!Many thanks,Trevor

    I know that I can make textures show when using DXTBmp but when I use Image Tool the textures of the aircraft I painted don't show. I just get chrome on the whole aircraft. What do I have to do in Image Tool to get the textures to show in FS2002?

    In this picture, the front door is named door_passenger and the side door is named door_cargo. The animation works in FSDS2. However, in FS2002 only the front door will open, using shift-E-1. The side door does not respond to any combination of shift-E and 1, 2, 3, or 4 like FS says it should.Help?????My only option right now is to make them both passenger doors and they would both open at the same time.Thanks,John Woodward

    Is there a way that I can save a paint job with an alpha channel and transport it to DXTBmp without make a separate file for my alpha channel. I'm using Captain Sims 727 paint kit that has an integrated alpha channel in the files for reflections and when I exit Paint Shop Pro I go to DXTBmp and open it up and save it as DX3 with alpha but it says "none" for alpha in the description.

    Whenever I use DXTBmp to make my paint jobs show in FS2002 I see Mip Mapping on the textures. Is there a way I can disable Mip Mapping in DXTBmp? I tried using Image Tool instead of DXTBmp but my textures don't show up if I use Image Tool and I get chrome.

    Guess what's on Ebay? Some guy is selling a CD of FS freeware addons and seems like people are really falling for it. Bill, Your Trinidad is on it, and a few others that I recognize.
