Hey,I posted here somtime already for the same problem.Every time i got very good advices and very usefulls :D that make the problem much less serious Thanks you ;-) ! , but the problems is still here. (see at the picture).Thats what i get after cutting windows and aplying dynamic shine.I tried Face turn but its not helping.I am cutting with boolean (substraction and cut/refine), or shape merge. i removed the smooth from the 2 parts before cutting and they were all Editable poly.I also tried several differant fuselage with more sagements across the windows. I downloaded the only tiger moth available form avsim it is the tiger moth collection. Although these planes are wonderful to fly i encounter the following problem.The tiger moth is designed as a trainer aircraft, and should be able to take off from rough surfaces. ( student dont always get it back to the field)When i was flying in Kenia in the neigbourhood of HKKE i had to land because of the enourmous fog. I made it to the ground in one piece and thanx to the biplane character i was able to land on a very narrow sandy surface. When the fog cleared i wanted to take off to my surprise i could not take off. Running at full power the aircraft did not move at all.Done the s…

I have a question that I decided to post after searching the forum up to 1 year ago, with no luck.I have Visual C++ installed, and tried to following the instructions on how to set it up to compile .gau files. I copied CVARS32.BAT to the SDK/Samples directory from MS's SDK. Then, the instructions, as you know, go like this:2. Create a shortcut to run vcvars32.bat in the same directory as the batch file. Herve' Sors has a great FS Aerodynamics site: It has links to AC design Forums and and sources of aerodynamics/aircraft data. Herve' is also posting my Aired.ini, and a couple of short documents I wrote. One explains much of the FS2K2 aircraft.cfg. What the lines do and which ones are only used by FSEdit. There are also some deep papers by Ian Kerr at the site. I expect my AAM.ini will also be posted at this site when I get it finished. What I want to do: Put up a gauge that lists the amount of icing the plane has accumulated. Of course modifying the airplane textures to display icing on the wings, would be more realistic but one step at a time.What I'm stuck on: I downloaded the Panels & Gauges SDK, and it looks like it could be quite fun to play with. However, in the header files I could not find any reference to the amount of Ice the plane has accumulated. I know this is kept internal to FS2002 as there is a variable "IceAccum=x.xxxx" in the "x.flt" file when you save a flight. Also I read on here someone who was modeling icing on the wings. I am workin on a Vcockpit and I have stumbled across a wierd problem. I am animating the throt, prop and mixture levers in FSDS2 using the key animation. The mix is ok, but the prop and throttle are not. Even though I kep map the levers to swing about 45deg, they both stop after about20 or so. I can't figure it out. I made sure that key frames were only set at 0 and 100 using the full 45 degrees yet they stop after moving 1/2 way. I have doubled checked for mistaken key frames that I might have set but nothing shows up. I even tried "over rotating" the levers and animating them but they seem to stop in exactly the same place everytime. Anyone have any suggestions??? Thank…

I am using the FS2000 Concorde in FS2002; no problems.I then changed the mdl file so the virtual view would be activated;it worked.Then I updated the panel.cfg file with the virtual view data withthe 'bmps' I am using. But the bmps don't show up! Now I do have allnamed correctly and the path to the bmps is ok.Any help would be appreciated.

Where can I find FS panel and CFG edit I want to realy make Bob's long eze totaly awsome.

Is it possible in a Vcockpit to have gauges on 3 seperate panels. I want to have some closer to the pilot than other. I was just curious if this could be done and how to do it?Thanks

I Have a white, Beech King Air 350 that I downloaded and when I went to paint it in FS2002 Edit it came up as read only! Am i being stupid? When I select the file and high light its properties, I try to change it from read only, it will not play ball. Is it me or does FS2002 edit just not cut the mustard on the odd occasion.

With some aircraft, the "Course", "Speed/Mach", and "Heading" indicators on the auto pilot will only change in increments of 10, e.g., 110, 120, 130, etc. How do I change that to allow increments of 1, e.g., 110,111,112,113, etc.I've searched the SDK and aircraft config, as well as the forum posts, and can't seem to locate an answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have designed a model in fsds and when I look sideways in the 2d view, I see parts of the virtual cockpit. This wouldnt be bad, except it defaults to zoom 1 and the part I am seeing looks way too close. Is there a way in the config file or panel cfg to set the Vcockpit to .5o or even .31 zoom as its default?thanks

Hello!I took the Falcon 2000 (Mike Stones) for a spin this morning and it behaved strange, very good at lift of but very underpowered in the climb, which it isn't suppose to be. So I started playing around with the aircraft.cfg file and now I got it to cruise and climb as I want :). Well, after making at my destination airport with only 4lbs of fuel left (psst don't tell the vFAA :) ) I decided to look for some performance charts for the King Air. I could not find any on the web anywhere.You can buy the real airplane manual, and that would be nice to have, but since FS2002 might not perfectly model the real plane it would be an expensive gamble, and not really necessary for just goofing off on a computer a few hours a week.If anyone has any they'ld like to share, or knows where I can find some that would be great.If not, I'll have to make my own .. :/
