I bought the 737 NGX from Simmarket and my parcel arrived today! I get home to find that it has Ideal Flight in there, and not my much wanted 737. After tracking the order numbers, Someone in America, who had ordered Ideal Flight, is probably about to receive the 737. Lucky 'born before parents where married' (damn autocorrect)

Hiya folks... Have found a bit of a problem, hopefully somebody here knows what's causing this... On approach to Heathrow, from the virtual cockpit view, the PAPI lights at the start of the runway, and all runway lights don't show until I'm pretty much about to touchdown (Too late by then).. I have tried this several times now by doing a take-off, fly-round and land back at the same runway, and am finding that if I use the external view, all the runway lights show just fine, but only in the 3D cockpit view, there is nothing at all. I have the graphics settings all on max, am getting about 50fps+ on approach all the way, nothing stuttering, just this odd probl…

Hi, I am having one or two problems with OpusFsx. In the first place, I cannot save any modifications I make to the camera views. When I press the 'Save all Cameras' button, for example, the view simply reverts to the default setting. In addition I cannot add any new cameras. The two dialogue boxes above the radio buttons for selecting between the virtual cockpit , 2D cockpit and the aircraft view are both greyed out and the lower box states 'No Matching Camera Views'. I have run the configuration and selected the right directory for FsX and ticked the 'Enable Live Camera Control' so I have no idea what I am doing wrong. What is bizzarre is the fact that I did…

I'm looking for recommendations for a regional aircraft to complement my PMDG MD-11/NGX. I was thinking about the PMDG JS41 or the Leonardo Mad Dog as those two, especially the Mad Dog, seem to be popular. My machine runs both the MD-11 and the NGX quite well so I'm looking for options that are similar in FPS to those two as well as having a bit of complexity (FMS, etc.) to them. Any suggestions?

Hi, I have just discovered OpusFSX but I don't understand a thing: is it possible to use the weather engine and interface on a second computer network-connected with the FSX computer and, from the second computer, inject the weather into FSX on the main computer? Thank you.

I started this discussion in the hopes of finding a solution in another thread but thought it best to post the discovery here in case anyone else is having issues w/ this. In a nutshell, for several months I would experience hard freezes--sudden stops & starts lasting maybe 1/2 a second or so--in the video displaying during flying FSX. Not to be confused w/ stutters/microstutters! I thought initially it had to do w/ the Virtuali Addon Manager, or the software it supports since this began around the time I had installed some addon airports and what have you. hello guys im just wondering if i had gex installed, prior to that i had utx and i installed gex but it didint make a diffrence when in fsx still looked like the utx textures. so what i did was uncheck everything to do with ultimate terrain in the scenery library in fsx. and did another reinstall of gex again and these are the results, to me they still look like fsx scenery alone no gex at all and when at night there are no strret lights at all.

I know the missions are in Acceleration, but is it possible to have assisted takeoff and landing on carriers without acceleration? Thanks, Tony Bartalone

Since i started add Addonscenery and airplanes, since then i expirience some problems: 1) After loading, my airplane is crashing, or (disable crashes) bouncing inside the ground and i have overspeed... 2) Traffic around airport is like sinked ships, inside ground 3) In airtraffic all CPU aircrafts fly with gear down and full flaps, and ATC cant stop remind them to climb... 4)Fuel truck is not coming... 5) after a flight i get a GPS_engine error by FSX problem no. 1 sometimes disapear in airports i have not add scenery, sometime not... I bought the Iris C27 a few days ago from their own shop on their website. I did not get a download link after I made the payment and the alternative link over my account that should redirect me to the download link in case this happens is broken. I got already confirmations from paymate that the payment was made and all. How can I set FSX to use current system time? I know that in my default flight flight FSX saves this setting for the time when I created that particular default flight. Is there a way of changing adjusting something? to make it strt using Current/System time? I have in the General tab the box ticked in windows 7 pro.Unregistered Version of FSUIPC. Berlopez

One thing that has come to my mind is that in FSX I usually can take of and land at another airport without much difficulty. For example I made some test flights from KORS taking of north then turning south and a little later landed at another airport. I didn't payed much attention to details just max throttle (and correct flap settings) turn and steer to where I wan't to go cut throttle when landing. In no way a perfect flight but is it not still to easy? I purchased the Mad Dog 2010 Pro edition last night, and WOW. It's really, really good. True, the virtual cockpit looks a little dated (thought not much more so than the PMDG MD-11) but running Word Not Allowed's Nvidia Inspector tweaks it actually looks quite good. Just about every switch and button has it's own sound, which I love (makes it SO much more immersive.) You get a built in fuel planner and load manager, performance options, several included liveries... there's just so much stuff it comes with. You can even speak with your cabin crew to begin boarding and such, and they will actually bring you a load sheet with all the weights listed, CG, etc. One thin…

I am trying to improve my night flying environment by using an enb mod ( i have never used one before). I was referred to the REX forum for Tim's natural enb mod. The download contains three files: enbpalette.bmp, d3d9.dll, and enbseries.ini. The forums state to move these three files into the FSX root folder. I did so, mine happens to be c:\FSX. When these files are placed in the root folder FSX will not load. I get the main screen for about 4 seconds with the window that displays the rotating aircraft solid black. FSX then encounters a fatal error and shuts down. When i remove these files FSX runs just fine. My gpu is a gtx 570 and I am running REX essential. Other memb…

I want to install FSX on a different computer than the one I currently have it installed on, my question is, is there any file I can backup so that I don't lose any of my awards, or my logbook? Or is that completely impossible, I'll have to re-do all the missions and everything? Thanks

I see posts in here about 1.17 and V2 that are years old, but when I purchased it last night you get version 1.15 (and I downloaded 1.16 update). Is there a EZDOK website that is up to date or is this abandon ware? Thanks! Tony Bartalone
