I am trying to decide which scenery to purchase : FWI bermuda airport scenery or latin vfr 's bermuda scenery. I am leery about purchasing latin vfr because I have their miami scenery and it is has horrible fps. ( I have a 2600k overclocked to 4.4) Anyone have the FWI scenery ? thanks

I'm running FSX Full-Screen 1920x1080. I have a second sidecar monitor as well (1920x1200) that I put FSX's kneeboard on, drag panels to, etc. The VC looks just fine. However, if I pull up the 2D Panel...its sort of "Squashed". None of the instruments are "round", they are all oval shaped and squashed. I did set WideViewAspect to True in the fsx.cfg. It didn't seem to have any effect. Is there a known fix for this? Or is it that most folks just don't use the 2D panels? Thanks!

I've just purchased EFB on-sale @ PC Aviator and was wondering if it is possible to run it over the network. I have my primary PC running FSX only and intend to run REX and hopefully EFB on my secondary computer.

From time to time I invest on a good FSX add-on. On my return to this sim, which I must confess I seldom use now that I am becoming a DCS addict, I decide to buy a RealAir (the Duke), and now the A2A Civil p-51. I am writing this post to express how deeply satisfied with this aircraft I am feeling. Of course I bought it in the first place because it was an A2A Accusim add-on, one of those products that still makes FSX the most complete and fully featured simulation platform (and yes, I am in the X-Plane team too...), but also because since I find DCS's p-51 the greatest prop sim I have ever used with it's p-51 military version, I was willing to find the modelling diff…

Right so I bought Track Clip Pro because I can't stand wearing the hat anymore, I attached it to my Headphones and it works, feels and looks great. Now, instead of wearing a Hat I have to wear headphones, which is ok since I pretty much only fly the NGX on VATSIM. My question is, would there be a way so that I can rig my computer to play the FSX sounds out of my speakers but have VATSIM and FS2Crew voices come out of my headhpones, I mean thats how it's done in real life..sorta, but I think it would be cool because that way I could indepedntly raise and lower the volumes of each as I see fit. I'm looking into getting MyTraffic 360 or UT2 but I don't want to have another plane run into me on a taxiway or ignore FSX ATC when I'm cleared onto a runway. Do these add-on aircraft slot into the default ATC flow or do they fly rogue? Thanks Clark

hi I have just upgraded to the latest version , 2.50.6 and followed the upgrade instuctions to delete the old installation in add/remove programmes only. I now cannot see the fsx.server.exe in my original installation folder so cannot get it to work ? Help please. Thanks Paul Sorted, re-installed again and now it has appeared.

Hi all. As in the tittle the screen shot shows what has happened to my Scenery Library. I was installing some Misty Moorings scenery and then for some reason all the tittles disappeared! Everything is still insatalled but I just can't tell where it all is without clicking on it, which is getting a bit of a pain. The only way I can seem to return the names is to uninstall and then re-install. Any ideas please?

Hi, Few weeks ago i bought a new PC : I5 3570K, gtx 660, 128go ssd, 1600 mhz ram (2x4 go) ... So i took my time to configure FSX, i made so many tests with fsx cfg and nvidia inspector, and finally chosen my preferred settings. Briefly: poolsize=0, 8xs antialias and 2x transparency supersampling, adaptativ vsync + 1/2 refresh rate. FPS limited to 30 with nvidia and unlimited IG. and some other tweaks of Word Not Allowed's guide and nvidia inspector on pmdg forum. So everything is ok i have constant 30 FPS and very very few stuttering/micro freeze, but in aerosoft paris CDG i drop to 10-12 FPS in the ngx cockpit and 15 to 25 outside. Admittedly it has been a while since I downloaded an Air Canada repaint but when I did so tonight for a POSKY 777-200LR, the first thing I noticed was that the main fuselage body color was a light blue tint instead of what I remembered seeing in FS9, which was a white colored body. My WoAI Air Canada aircraft show white as the fuselage color. Which is the current fuselage color for Air Canada? Thanks

I have a plane with weak cabin lights that don't adequately illuminate the panel. Is there any way to edit the fx effect file to increase the intensity? If not can I use an effect from another plane with adequate cabin lights? Thanks, Bob.

Good Evening Gents. I currently having too low fuel flow issues with the wilco a330-300 , a340-300 and a340-600. Basically the fuel flow rates are too low, and I keep landing after long flights with far too much fuel and get told off by my VA management !!! Im using correct fuel figures/payload as im using the Real world pilots plogs. Ive listed below the "fuel flow scaler" in the [GeneralEngineData] section of the aircraft.cfg for each for each aircraft. I believe you can adjust this figure until you achieve the desired fuel burn rate for a "known" burn rate figure @ AUW/FL ISA. So if some clever sole can help me with this it would be great. …

I've been thinking of purchasing one of the RXP GPS units (cannot afford both nor the unlimited pack). The 530 unit appeals to me because of the display size. Seems it would be harder to fit into many FSX GA aircraft VC because of this. Is there a list of aircraft that are known to work with this particular unit? Couldn't find this on the Reality website, in the support forums or through a google search. Maybe others who use this unit could weigh in on those aircraft they've successfully incorporated this unit into both the VC as well as popup. Thanks much.

If I had to choose ONE single airplane from the following categories, which one would you suggest: GA Single Prop (like C172) GA Twin (like Baron 58) Small Propliners (like Dash) Small Airliners (like CRJ 700) Airliners (like 737-800) Heavies (like 747) Criterias: 1) not overly complex. The strangest thing happened today to my installation of FSX. Started FSX with Shade, and Shade reported "FSX registry path is unreadable...". I instantly checked FS registry repair tool, no luck. The I started FSX with default icon, with few missing scenery messages greetings, then opening screen appeared with NO aircraft model visible, and after few seconds FSX crashes. I was totally confused with the situation... went to FSX folder to search for clues. I was in awe when I saw that Addon Scenery and Texture folders are missing! Can anyone tell me if there is a site other than Flight1 that sells the OpusFSX software? I do not want to go through the intrusive Flight1 "registration" process which collects a string of personal details which I object to providing just to purchase a bit of software. Hello I need some help here. I bought the Flight1 Cessna T182T around a week ago. Installed from the Wrapper version 1.4 but I am missing 4 texture files. A few days ago I opened a ticket over at Flight1 support but still no joy. I downloaded the installer 3 times and installed the Aircraft on 3 different computers, but still missing 4 texture files. (I have done all the usual tricks, no antivirus, safe mode, defrag, cleanup, registry cleaner etc.) I have an app that monitors all hard drive activity and those files are not being installed.
