Hello, When I land (never when flying) I have ground textures impact on my 3rd monitor in Spor View How to solve? Thanks in advance

Hi all I'll keep it short; I've got my setup working perfectly with four screens. The fourth screen is used as my GPS screen. Is there someway that I can size this so it comes up by default and I don't have to resize the GPS500 guage to the fourth monitor every time I load that aircraft? Thanks in advance. Cheers

With a lot of the talk these days being about the weather, just thought I post a pic of the best weather generator of them all, Mother Nature. I took this today (Monday) as I was driving to pick up my granddaughter at school in Southern Indiana near Newburgh. Pretty impressive, eh? Oh, and by the way, OpusFSX is my weather generator of choice. Don't know about the weather minutae everyone seems to be striving so much to get, all I know is OpusFSX comes amazingly close to creating on the screen what I see out my window. And that's good enough for my little flights around the patch.

I have a strange behavior on my surround system. From time to time, the horizon line is visible even through the clouds. This is visible 360 degrees around the plane so it's not very nice. I use REX essential overdrive.. I dont have Bojote's shader. Anyone know where this is coming and how to get rid of it? Pierre

Does anyone know if there is a fix to prevent the Saitek Cyborg X from dropping out of FSX? It still works for the programmed buttons I set in Profiler but the throttle axis and propeller axis stop working after awhile. A Switch to window mode seems to fix them. I have the latest Windows 7/8 64 Saitek drivers installed. Cheers jja

Hello, I purchased this on the comments and reviews that I read. I have previously been using AS2012 I did a flight from Winnepeg to Anchorage in the PMDG MD-11. The cloud coverage was impressive, and accurate. I was hopeful on the wind smoothing. I discovered that an old problem that active sky has seemed to fix returned with this addon. Its the age old fsx problem of extreme wind shifts. in all of my PMDG aircraft including the NGX, these windshifts will cause autopilots to disconnect and create overspeed and low speed warnings, and can send my aircraft diving into the ground. I cannot accept this as a $45 addon when I can just run active sky 2012 with no…

Hi Guys, I couldn't find any information on this in a search, but being fairly new I'm thinking this is not there yet? Is there plans to add FSBuild integration for the winds or to output to a file that FSBuild can read? For example, when I build the flightplan and fuel plan, it takes the weather output data from my current weather program, and it takes this into account for the fuel plan. I end up with very accurate timings and fuel figures. This is one of the things I would be hoping for before buying. Also historical weather, but I understand it's already been discussed

hello guys, it's been a long time since i have been on this forum making a post and i would just like some opinions from fellow flight simmers. my question is i would like to do a flight preferably 3-4 hours, im going to take the ngx on this route but cant think of a nice route to take...Lol. every time i fly i always stay in England flying to heathrow from Manchester and this gets really boring. so may i have some suggestions on what route you guys take that are 3-4 hours long, many thanks. p.s could it be possible if the suggestion could be a 3-4 hour route from any country but i would like to land in England preferably Manchester, gatwick or heathrow. thank…

I love the Blue Sky photoreal scenery but I,ve had an issue crop up with Southern California. I'm getting dark textures in the water between KSAN and KLAX. There're not totally black there seems to be some texture. This is the only place this happens. Any help would be appreciated. Hal KATL

I'm just starting out with FSX, working on getting it configured and running the way I want it, etc. Right now I have just the vanilla FSX installed but I also have quite a few AddOns I purchased but haven't installed yet (Weather, Scenery, Aircraft, etc.). I figured I'd want to get familiar with the "stock" FSX before I install the AddOns. Between FSX and Addons (Weather, Scenery, Aircraft, etc.) that you'd install on the SSD alongside FSX, how much drive space do you think that might take? Hey, I just started to sim with finally tweaked FSX. It sure was lot of work on getting it working with my setup (3 screen - Eyefinity). I have a question about the CRJ-700. I have looked at the forums and the online stores for payware CRJ. So far from what I read, everyone complains about Wilco - their CRJ/ERJ product is off my list. Then comes, feelthere's ERJ v2 - from what I read - it has night flying issues - based on graphics etc - and their support forums isn't that active - I dunno if that is a good thing or a bad thing. Hey all, I just purchased FSX Gold last week, and have spent the last 3 days trying to get it activated. I've installed and re-installed it at least a dozen times to no avail. I get the following message when I try to activate it. Product Activation Error: An error occurred while attempting to activate the product. The problem may be due to an incomplete installation of the application. Reinstalling the application may resolve the problem. Otherwise, please contact product support for assistance. Have Fsx with many add-ons, would like to install SDK so that I can alter Afcads with ADE. Have ADE on FS9 and want the same on FSX. Have FSX Gold with SP2 installed on a second HD (E), I think I have all the pre-requirements as these were needed for the FSX installation. As mentioned I have a lot of different sorts of add-ons. Can I install the SDK without getting problems. Also do I need to install in the default folder or on the "E" HD. Although I have read the info on FSDeveloper info I am still not 100% sure that I understand it completely. I am far from an expert concerning the computer. Any advice will be very welcome.

Hello pilots, At the end of this year will be opening a new airport in Turkey province Kastamonu. The name of the airport is uzunyazi, id LTAL. Im parked in laguardia looking for my next destination before flying over the atlantic. im probably looking to head up into the maine area before crossing over, how can i tell if any of the airports on the "map" have fuel stations?

hey guys, I was wondering how to change the ai planes/aircraft view, I don't like that ai view 45 degree angle thing and I would like to have locked spot view when I click an ai plane from the list. It would also work for super traffic board as well. I have been searching the net but I am surprised it hasn't been brought up. Thanks so much guys.

Hi, I'm currently flying the B717-200 that I got from DeltaVA and their panels seem too buggy. Even if it works, its just not as clear and not all controls are clickable or working. Is there any freeware panels for the B717-200 for FSX? I found one by the name of "717km_p.zip" at FlightSim but its for FS2004 by Ken Mitchell http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php?searchid=3363953 Would that work for FSX? (I doubt it) Do recommend! This is a great upgrade! I have found all the issues in Essentials fixed, and fixed very well, and there's a lot more--much more refined and quick now. I almost jumped on Opus just to get a good weather program but am feeling pretty good now that these issues have been addressed. Thanks REX Game Studios ;o) Noel

Here's a good one. I have double rotating beacons at the stock airports. Both towers are visible in daytime and green-white beacons at night. They are usually about 200 - 400 feet apart. I've searched the forums and have not found any thing on this subject. Has anyone had this before ? Does anyone have a remedy ?

hello, im just curios upon my landings. when i make the final approach turn on ils, the runway seems to only be 1-3nm away and my aircraft has to adjust really fast. my question is can i bring the aircraft more further for example: you can see in this incredible video, all he as to to is follow the straight path while his final approach turn is made so many miles out. you can see this at 1:22. im just curios is to whether i can perform this task way out rather then the latest possible time when the runway is 1-3NM out. many thanks, i hope i dont sound to confusing.

The whole usa in photo real .Sim Savvy has given a total make over on my sim. The fact that I can fly into my home airport now and it looks realistic is such a plus. I wish I could find away to add water masks but for now ,I have so much to explore. In the future , I will have just get the rest of the world that I may fly in photo textures and several huge hard drives.
