Recently I've been in search for a good quality (visual and system, particularly VC) CT4 and PC9 trainer aircraft. Does anyone have any suggestions? I tried to look around but didn't seem to get too many positive returns. Cheers

I know I should be writing this in the PFPX forum but I cant seem to login there through PFPX, I don't use AS2012 or any weather related software so I will be using the PFPX weather engine, trouble is I don't know how to get the PFPX weather into FSX, when I load up my plane, time and location I leave the weather alone in the FSX menu but on the ground at JFK it just leaves me with the default weather. Its supposed to be 27C at JFK but I just get the default value 15C. I have ripped through those manuals trying to figure it all out but there is nothing pertaining to loading PFPX weather into FSX, not even on pg 41 of the manual. Hey fellow flyboys and flygirls. Have a question for ya. I have noticed an annoying problem in FSX. Now in my ATC communications, ATC always says "decimal" instead of "point" and "control" instead of "center". I ran Edit Voice Pack a few nights ago, and everything was fine. This just started in my last flight. I tried to load another flight, but still the same problem. Any suggestions? Thanks Bigrobmjca

Hi All, I have Paul Wheeler's excellent freeware sceneries for the Caribbean islands. I'd also like to get Ultimate Terrain's offering for South America/Caribbean, mostly for South America and Central America. My question is whether or not Ultimate Terrain is compatible with Wheeler's Caribbean sceneries or not. Thanks in advance for any info. Rob KRDD

i used to have a camera program for fs09 that i could walk around the outside the airplane like doing a real pre flight. is there any thing like that for fsx? i think that would be really neat. i seen one mentioned in a read-me but that was a lot of files ago. so i have since forgotten the name of the file.

South West U.S.A. has been fixed to render realism nicely. Colors have been corrected. Flying at night over Michigan. Nice new added features, red tail lights of cars at intersections, new street lighting, more pronounced and visible....even more depth of belief. Very nice, highly recommended.

Hi just bought the PMDG 777 can't get my head around the panel state parts of the manual.so need a little help here. can i save a panel state so that when i choose it the engines are running.I have saved a panel state while the engines are running, as soon as i choose it the engines shut down. maybe it's just not possible. thanks for any help steve

Hello to all, I've been away from flight simulation for six or seven years but, after a recent flight lesson in a Cessna 172, I plan on managing my time to make room for it. I could use some help though, as I had been using FS9 when last active in FS. I bought FSX when it came out years ago but never used it, as circumstances left me with less free time. HI, I'm running FSX and the screen minimizes every 45 minutes after the hour making it pretty near impossible to use. Has anybody seen this? What is causing it and what isthe fix? Thanks, Russ

I am having an issue with fsinn that when i start my flight load it up. I go to add ons click on fscopliot then inn control panel. FSX will not respond but only when im sitting at the gate of payware airports such as panc aerosoft or fly tampa cyul. I then turn off that airport and use the the default and fsinn loads no problem. Any help would be great.

I am a bit confused on which addon camera to purchase for better cockpit views. Just viewing the cockpit in vc mode, I´m unable to read everthing in the new 777 cockpit. I´ve seen videos where the authors are moving around quite well. The checlist can be read quite clearly and that prompts me to purchase a camera. So I´m wondering which camera most simmers are using. Hi All, I cant get the taxi lights ON without switching the landing lights ON with any default FSX airplanes. Is it normal ? I dont know if this issue appears since I use Wideview. Thanks for help Christian

Hi Folks, Please help me with your recommendations for Best Mesh, Coastline, LandClass, River/Roads for North as well as South America? I used to use these add-ons but its been more than 4-5 years since and this is a brand new install FSX and Acceleration. My machine seems to handle everything well and so now I want to improve things. What do you recommend and why? If it matter I'm in NY but also travel to Ecuador and would like to improve things there as well. Any help would really be appreciated. Thank you very much! BTW I have FTXG and really like it, especially the lighting.

Anyone following the PFPX development no doubt remembers the anti-prophetic "shortly after Christmas" release date. Well, here we are creeping into June and PFPX is, and will seemingly forever remain, "virtually finished." This is perhaps the best example of why release dates are so risky for developers. FlightSimSoft has taken the approach that a lot of simmers cry for by giving out release date estimates. And they've shown why that's such a terrible idea. To their credit, they seem willing to give regular updates, but every update is the same: PFPX is ALMOST here. I took a flight over the weekend in the 747X EGLL-KORD. Somewhere over the northern Atlantic I started receiving some crazy winds, the indicator in the 747 was spinning around in circles going absolutely nuts. The plane started to bank violently and I couldn't stop it unless I cleared the FSX weather and exited Opus. I realize that this is an FSX bug of some sort and is not related to bad data received by Opus? How do I remedy something like this quickly without exiting Opus, since I'm using at also with TIR? I was wondering before my first flight, if there is anything odd with the t7 throttle, that is different from the 737 or 747, both of which I have many hours in.

Hello, I am currently setting up my EZCA views for the PMDG 777 after successfully using it on the NGX. The first picture is my 'captains view' set up exactly as I want it. This was taken at VRMM as I was starting the PMDG tutorial. The second image is after I have simply changed airport to EGCC - I am using exactly the same EZCA views and zoom levels but as you can see, the views are totally different and it has zoomed right in. Any idea how to fix this? I have done all I can think of like run the EZCA config.exe
