Hi people, I have had this mysterious problem occur to me before a few times, and haven't been able to find the cause. My PC is decent and I can maintain 30 FPS 98% of the times. I run VSync 1/2 refresh rate in Inspector which makes everything super smooth. My FSX experience is therefore very very smooth for the vast majority of scenarios, even when flying over big cities such as LA. But here at the Los Angeles area, there seems to be something strange occuring all the time. Hi! Just out of curiosity, I've been flying the PMDG 772L some flights lately, I've discovered that even tough my FPS are 30+ in most cases I do have some 2-3 sec. lags when using OPUS. I tried OPUS with the NGX and I did not notice any lag there and also flying the 777 not using real weather the small stut's was gone. Is it some settings in OPUS that may cause this? (GRIB's or something?) Strange I never saw this flying the NGX. And it mainly happens during ground operations and taxi..

In FSX AI flight plans what does day 1 correspond to? Sunday or Monday?

Dear All, I just noticed that a new update of FTX global is available. I'm considering it to replace my default FSX scenery. Would you recommend it ? I mostly fly the T7/NGX and my system specs are rather on the high side. I'm mostly concern with FPS hits. Kind Regards

No clue why the plane hopped up. Initial landing looks harder than it is from the loose Ezdok settings. I thought all runways were perfectly flat in FSX or is there some other glitch going on?

I had Advanced Gamma Corrector and I have the key for it but unfortunately on my new build I didn't get the key in until the demo expired and that was all she wrote. The company as vanished it appears. It was a great simple utility too! Anyway, I need something to replace it but haven't found anything yet. Thanks in advance!

Has anyone done this, and how'd you go about it?

I currently have FSCommander but am interested in getting PFPX. Can anyone here tell me if it's able to create a quick flight plan from point A to B in a minimal amount of time? I don't want to spend most of my time planning but flying instead. I plan on using it with PMDG's 777. I've been looking for a quick and pretty much automated process where I can enter departing airport and arriving airport, and let the program create the route for me, so all I'd have to do is load it up into my FMC and activate and fly it.

G'day gents, I've run into a bit of a problem with the TDS 787. I've never really been able to get it installed into FSX properly, until I came across this download - http://www.fs-freeware.net/downloads/viewdownload/7-civil-airliners/3386-fsx-boeing-787-8-ge-delta It installs perfectly, runs perfectly, and I haven't experienced any major issues. However, I do have one problem, and that being the fact that some of the exterior lights are missing and or not working. Oddly enough though, they do appear to be functional in the prevew window as pictured below. When FSX is actually launched is another story. Any insight or help would be greatly appreciated.

Cruising north along the Jersey shore in my V35B using REX real world weather - mostly clear skies and calm to little wind. I'm maybe 10-15kts below the yellow arc on my airspeed indicator, trimmed out at 1,500 and just enjoying the flight, one hand on the yoke... suddenly I start to bump and rattle, and I sit up and grab the yoke to keep her steady, not overly concerned for a bit of turbulence. Hi Everyone, The ND in PMDG737NGX and 777 do not align with SID's VOR radials. It is off by 3 degrees either the GPS data is wrong to the right or the VOR radial is off to the left. I've tried to fix this by replacing latest Magdec.bgl file but do not work. Is there a solution to this? Check the screen shot below. The ND is showing SID PORTE5 for KSFO and the VOR radials showing PYE radial 135 outbound and OSI 285 inbound as published for the first picture. On the second picture I turned radials 3 degrees to the right which is closely aligned with GPS data. Thanks in advance for your help. By the way, Navdata is the latest that came with PMDG777.

So I just spent $35 on this... And theres no way for me to register the darn product. Why do I have no addon manager in my top bar menu? I just did a completely fresh install of fsx, and still no addon manager. I uninstalled absolutely EVERYTHING fsx related. I've heard nothing but good things about FlightBeam and so I 'm just bummed that my copy is no good... I'm probably going to go for the refund, I didn't expect it to be so difficult to get this working. I wish they had a better method of registration, kind of rediculous that I have to register it inside of FSX.. I dont get it.

I'm getting more and more frustrated. My hardware is more than adequate but even with the uiautomationcore fix, it's still laggy on the main menu, is there something I can do to make the main menu more stable?

Ready to pull the trigger on purchasing Opus - but could not access the website at all over this last weekend (?). Given this doesn't seem to have been an issue for others that I can see, I'm wondering if this is a repeat of this site being blocked by my ISP (iinet, Australia). I read a post about this being a problem earlier this year. As the mere customer (and would-be customer) in this situation, is there anything I can do? I decided to turn off windows automatic update because it will screw up a perfect working system. Last night I decided to tweak my system by disabling some services that I did'nt need. After doing that I created a restore point and rebooted. I flew 2 trips in the PMDG 777 and called it a night. this morning I woke up and rebooted my computer to start fresh because I wanted to do another flight before work. Turns out windows had downloaded updates while I was sleeping and during the reboot it installed. I did'nt think nothing of it, so I started up fsx with the 777 and half way to NY from Charlotte I had CTD. The culprit was ntdll.dll from looking at the event view…

Pardon me if this has already been asked, but my search isnt getting me the answer I need. I am a former user of EZDOK, and trashed it when migrating to OPUS camera views. One thing I miss dearly is the ability to freely roam around the cabin, the VC, or even outside the plane. I understand I can create any number of pre defined views, but is there a way I can move around the aircraft?

Does the Just Flight 777 have a GPS/NAV switch?

I can not bring up all the spread sheets using the Shift + 2 , 3 , 4 , etc. I can bring up a few things. When I go to Views > Instrument panels I get Mini Controls, Maintanence Hanger , etc. I can't get Pre Flight Check Diagram. On the top of the list it says control pane, when I click on that I get nothing. Prior I deleted all keys in FSX so I could customize my own commands and also because I use EZDOC. That all works fine. Is there a way to get into the A2A 172 files to program my own keys to bring up all the views that you see in the A2A manual? Working with files is still not one of my stronger talents.

I'm a loyal Active Sky customer, and use Active Sky Evolution at the moment. I'm on the fence about upgrading to AS2012. My take when it was first released is that it was playing catchup to REX by offering texture sets to match the weather generated by the weather engine. I don't need any of that, as I use freeware sky/cloud textures that I like very much. So, apart from the textures, are there any significant improvements above and beyond what I get in ASE? I have read about improved overcast depiction, and a trick to make it appear that visibility is obscured inside clouds. But do these features really work?
