Today I downloaded Steven Grant's mesh scenery for Alaska, I read the readme for the installation instructions. The only thing I had to do was extract the 16 BGL files to my FS2002/Addon Scenery/scenery map. And so I did!But I also installed al the Bush Flying Unlimited sceneries. But the only problem I have is this one...........look at the first shot...the mountains aren't right?! and the field is floating?!Has anybody of you guys had the same problem? and if yes.....how did you solved it?I hope you guys can help me! because I like the "bush" flying really much!Regards :-wave ,Evert

Another thread got me thinking about this. What is the toughest airplane to fly that you have installed in FS2002? I know for me the Alphasim B-25J ranks right up there. You've really got to be on top of it on approaches. It's challenging to fly but that may be why it's one of my favorites.Cheers,Todd

If you head over to bounsweb, they have a bigger sized trailer to Lock on than they had the other day. Has anyone had a problem with the Concorde that is brand new in the file library?When I run it, it comes up with error boxes and it doesnt like one of the gauges, theres only two in the package, one is concorde.gau and the other one is causing problems. Its toggles-whm.gauIve reinstalled it to see if it was a corrupt file but its not playing ball with me at all.Anyone else had problems getting this to work as Id really like to fly it as it looks really good.Im using Windows XP Craig Kiltie

seemed like a great deal - 9 simflyer airports for $34.I have a AMD2100, 512PC266, and GF4-4600.I plan to not use statics ( as I have alot of custom AI routes ).Anyone have comments on the airports and performance with a similiarcomputer. Which of the airports is the harshest for frame rates? Which are the best.Thanks,Myles

Well, that's what it seemed like. I'm running XP with an Asus A7Pro MB, AMD 1.0gig, 512mb RAM, GeForce2 MX400 64mb, Maxtor 7200 20gig HD, SBL Value, and using the most current Detonator drivers from nVidia. Every time I've ran FS2K2, the computer has all of sudden shut down/warm boot and loads windows just fine. Well, here I was flying my newly downloaded and installed P38 from Simviation yesterday(really nice bird!!) when I went to the top down map view (ctrl+s) and zoomed out to see the earth..why, who knows. All of a sudden, screen went black and the computer began a reboot. Well, when it started doing it's little thing, it never detected the HD...press F4 to skip …

I have been flying using the default 737-400 model and it's cruise speed is listed at 477. Yet when I am flying this aircraft, even at cruise altitude, I get an overspeed warning alarm whenever I go above 345. Is it true.. that microsoft won't come out with another version of flight simulator in the future..because they wouldn't have any competetion unlike past years with fly and fly 2?

If you come across this computer parts supplier, proceed with great caution. I purchased a video card from them that did not work. When I sent it back for a refund, they refused to accept the package. So, I'm stuck with over $25 in shipping costs and I'm still stuck with a bum product. The company is rarely avaiable by telephone and does not have e-mail support. Sometimes the lowest price isn't the best deal. Buyer beware....

Hi, :-)At EGCC Manchester in FS2002 my AI Aircraft taxi to the runway, ask for permission to take off then they get the clearance BUT ... the aircraft start's it's take off roll then at full speed it doesn't lift off the runway and just crashes into the grass at the end of the runway.Can anyone tell me why?Thanks,Regards Mike Brand.

I have started to write a basic on-line help guide for newbee's on installing new aircraft to FS2k2 and new textures to existing models. It explains the basic parts of the aircraft folders, the aircraft.cfg files, and how to make your aircraft appear in alphabetical order in the FSEdit list. I have already gotten over five pages of text written...but before I go any further, I just want to ask if this is needed or not? I thought I would ask everyone here before I wrote to MS asking that they consider these changes for FS2004. My only really big beef is that there is little difference between Standard and Pro versions of the sim. I either had an epiphany or a brain f@rt, and we will soon find out which it is. I was thinking, why not make the Pro version more Pro? I mean the expert flight simmer is much more advanced than the expert was in FS98. By expert I mean more along the lines of what a real pilot would use like sectionals, approach plates, enroute charts, blah blah blah.Also, make the panels more functional in the Pro version. I know this has been posted before, but a search didn't produce anything. When I try to lower the second stage of flaps on the Deb I get an error message telling me that I am going too fast, even when virtually stationary on the runway!Does anyone know how to fix this?ThanksSteve

Hi.Since I have a performance degradation with FS2002 and all the add-ons, so that when I connect to Internet and FS is running, downloading data is practically impossible, I tried to connect two computers, via parallel cable and WideFS, so that in #1 I run FS2002 and in #2 Squawkbox and all the rest. I also connect #2 to Internet. But #1 computer doesn't seem to see external traffic and if I want to download real weather data, through Jeppesen, in the FS meteo menu, of course it doesn't, since it doesn't see the Internet connection. Is there a way to let this system work?Thanks in advance,Luca

I've spent about the last five hours flying around on Vatsim and I've been using the clock on my Dreamfleet 737 to keep track of time. When I started I set my FS clock and the system time to be the same, now the FS clock is 25 mins slow which is not particularly very good really :-)Is there a little program available that synchronizes system time and FS time or perhaps another way to ensure I get the regulation 60 secs per minute?!ThanksTom EvansBAV 757/767 Training Captain

Does anyone know if the engine and ATC sounds can be separated? I would like to hear the engine sound out of the main speakers and the ATC out of headphones. I'm guesing this can't be done, but I'm not sure.Thanks,Gerry

I can't seem to start the Baron 58 in FS2K2. I follow the startup sequence exactly but the starter switch does not stay engaged long enough to kick the engines over. I don't have this problem with any of the default prop A/C or the Piper Saratoga II. The switch works normally on all except the Baron. I've installed the Steve Small air files. Anyone have any suggestions?
