Hi, folks: I am just very interesting what you guys do during your long-haul flight. Some times I feel boring 'cause nothing will happen to my plane! Any ideas that can make me won't feel boring? (however, i do love FS2k2 very very much!) ;) Comment please! Thank you.KE082

SoundScape and Emma just make me laugh. I dont know I thought that flying and enjoying the scenery was all that was required. Now we can add sounds while we fly over McDonalds (Big Mac please!) I guess you could cut the engine, Open the door and listen for your favorite sound. I know its there and I dont have to buy it but come on, isnt this a little too much. Just curious. Im sure we have some young folks out there and I really dont mean to offend anyone. But this is just a little too much IMO.Just curious if im missing something.RegardsBobG

I just saw a tip at the Other Site that I thought was worth passing on. http://www.guru3d.com/atuner/ is the link to a new and very simple tweak program for Nvidia drivers. It will only do four functions but they're the ones most of us use 95% of the time. It will set the AA level, LOD bias (negative too), set Vsync on and off, and control the level of anisotropic filtering. It includes none of the things that the unknowing can get into trouble with. Mr. Mike !!! I just want to say THANK YOU for a GREAT 727! This flys so nice. I have a few hours (years ago) in TWA's 727 sim at JFK and you have nailed the feeling of the plane. Very nice looking model!!! When I started my VA, I swore off pure jets of any kind. YOU just changed that! ABC will now have a freighter for long hauls using YOUR 727. Love it Mike. Keep it up buddy! What do you think?I know that there's been some discussion of these, but I'm not able to find anything in the archive search, and I am hoping that people have had enough time with them now to get over any initial "wow" factor or problems.What do you think of the effect? Since I screwed around for 2 hours with my machine and tech support, I'll pass on the simple trick.The whole idea is...After right clicking on the desktop and choosing "Properties, Settings" you will see 2 Monitor icons....Click on the Monitor 2 icon and then be sure the box for ""Extend My Desktop Onto This Monitor." is UNCHECKED, and apply if necessary. jerrycwo4Today I downloaded Lago's Emma Field ( vr 1.0) and then found out there was an up-date (vr 1.01) which I downloaded and unzipped but I could NOT find any instructions on how to install the update. Has anyone already completed this action and could please tell me how to do it? Here's a tip for anyone having problems getting their head around the cabin views/aircraft.cfg files:What I've done is to copy the eyepoints of the virtual cabins to the aircraft.cfg, adding // before so that FS doesn't read them. All you need to do instead of changing file names, is to add // to the veiw not being used, adn remove the // to the one you do:eyepoint=116.47, -2.18, 4.25 //Pilots View//eyepoint= 53.00, -5.0, 2.798 //Virtual Cabin First Class//eyepoint= -22.00, -5.0, 2.798 //Virtual Cabin EconomyI just find this easier :-)AK

Can somebody please tell me where I can find Washington D.C. when I choose to fly from or to it in fs2002? I mean under what state should I search?As I saw it is not set as extra state (I know it is not a state but I mean only in fs2002) in U.S.A.So where should I search?

HiThis may help you if you have this problem in FS2002I have been having lockups which I thought were sound related, and came across this tip at one of the forums.I have a Gf3 ti200 clocked heavily to 220/500, but it wasnt that causing the problem...I reduced the IO voltage from 3.6 to 3.2 in the bios and set AGP drive to manual EA and voila lockups have stopped. Also AGPx4 is working no probs.BTW I have Abit KT7A board so this fix may be system specific --hope this helps someone else ;00Sun

Perhaps someone can tell me what I am doing wrong. I downloaded several planes from the file library and thought I installed them correctly. For some reason, only half are showing up in my menu. I dont know what all files/folders are required to make the airplanes show up, however, I did a comparison between several planes that do work against the ones that dont, and they all seem to have the same folders with the same names. If a plane that works has five folders and the plane right next to it also has five similiarly named folders, why does one show up as available and the other not?Am I missing something?Thanks. MF
