hello alli have encountered a problem with an american 727-200 i downloaded ,done by the following desingers.model by Gary Carlson/Kevin Trinkle.airfile by Everardo Diaz .airfileand aircraft.cfg modifications by Charles Fox.whenever i change the fuel quantity of the plane i get an error and fs2k2 ceases.the error is 0028.619520C9 VXD DSOUND03 10001099.I AM FOXED PLEASE HELP.another one.in fs2k the image files of different views ,that is the views when using the num lock keypad to view left ,left back back etc etc ....,were in the aircraft folder .one could view them using paintbrush.however i can not find the files in fs2k2 .does anyone know where they are??thnk u v…

I think that the software package" Fly to Hawai 2002" (47,50 euro's)is the worst softawre i bought(unfortunately). First of all and most important is that the DC-10 flightmodel the same is as the one from the freeware flight group. This model is an Fs2000 upgraded model with no working trustreversers, no tiltling boogies and very bad old textures. Another coincedence is that they give you the millitary KC-10 which was one of the first Freeware Flight Group releases for FS2002!. There is no scenery of Hawai, how stupid and cheap!. The panel of the" Fly to hawai" DC-10 is also very cheap one with no FMC and you can find one probably of the same quality on a freeware website…

I am scratching my head hear trying to figure out which of the cloud texture from FSW I should replace for the default ones. There are simply so many to select from. U, the ones with experience, what do u prefer as a good improvement. I use real weather only if that info matters. I do not really understand the difference between the programm programm from FSW that generates clouds and the seperate textures. So if someone could pump me with info so finally get the picture the same will get a free night to stay on his next trip to Iceland, breakfast included:)Regard

Hello,As you may know Microsoft did a horrible job with KGEG, it is enough that they didnt get the correct color of the buildings much less the wrong proportions with no gates.I have purchased Abacus Airport Scenry design program and after I have finished with redoing some of the local small fields in my area as well as the birthplace of the 707,727,737,757,KRNT I would like to take a stab at fixing KGEG and give it's dignity back.If there is someone from the KGEG area out there who can point me in a direction to get photos of various buildings/terminals and even a overhead shot it would be much appreciated or if you have a time in your schedule and have a digital camera …

Okay, I bet a lot of other people got the promo email from Airnav today.Who's going to be the first to get Airnav real-time data to show up as AI in FS2k2?There must be a way to get that or other sources of real-time flight info to feed into FS. I installed the new B-24 package uploaded to the library today, and have taken her out for a couple of hours of low-level flight around Atlanta. I'm most impressed! The textures look incredibly gorgeous in all their ugly, dirty grandeur, the windows show each crewmember at their respective positions, and the included panel looks pretty realistic as well (just one incompatability that I quickly fixed).What's bugging me though is the sound. It sounds great, but for some reason I only hear the left side engines while seated in the cockpit. If I turn and look left or right, I hear some sound out of the right speaker, but straight ahead, it's all left channel only. Is there a …

Is there a company out there somewhere that makes a very good yoke and pedals set? I have the CH Products yoke and pedals, but fine them kinda cheap feeling. They do add a lot over joysticks, but I would really like something that's high quality made. To give a comparison I used to drive racing sims a lot (before I found FS 2002) I had tried a couple of the plastic steering wheels and pedals, but either they broke or just didn't feel right. I ordered a TSW wheel (they are hand made and very strong and heavy duty) it really added sooooo much to my racing that I could never go back to the plastic ones again. What's the difference. I was looking for smooth transitions in a weather program. I fly 1-2 hour IFR flights and WeatherMaker transitions were not exactly what I would call smooth - a few clouds, then suddenly really low vis. Plus, the wind direction would change on me at the last minute on final and I'd be sent to the reciprocal runway. Not complaining as there are features that I really like about WeatherMaker.For those of you using the new ActiveSky, how does it compare?Are transitions smooth?And ultimately, how does it stack up to FSMeteo?I want a really good program for weather with SMOOTH TRANSITIONS - and willing to pay, of course, if need be.Thanks a bunch,Adam:-)

I can't seem to get a straight answer on this even though there are lots of posts in the forum.Does Flightmax show weather radar in Vastim ?? I know it will work when you are using in combination with FSMeteo but what about using the VATSIM weather or using ActiveSky ?Mark.

I noticed that when Im at lagos Emma Field the AI aircraft do not make any sound. ( Other sounds I believe are also affected ) A quick search at lagos forums revealed that others have noticed the same problem and that removing the Active camera DLL solves the problem, something that I can now confirm. I think that many people have tried that new AN-2 panel for FS2002... If you dont, you can download that in AVSIM, select FS2002 aircraft and then type "AN-2", the first one should be 14 mb AN2... picture is red airplane... NOw, do somebody know, HOW TO GET THAT THING WORK, I mean engine.... my starter dont start engine, I have tried all methods, nothing can help me :( CAn somebody start that airplane? Maybe you can write in this topic about starting. There are manuals too in the package but those are in russian, so I cant understand them.

Hi all i just want to know if in Fs2002 when u uncheck the autorudder box is this now supposed to decouple the nose gear steering so when u land and (especially in a crosswind) using the rudder that you do not end up with the nosegear at a ninety degree angle like the screenshot shows. i tried landing with the autorudder feature on and off and with the same results- the nosegear will not stay pointed down the runway when u use the rudder- it flops all ovetr the place- can this be fixed??

I need help with AI traffic. I done everything in accordance with written instructions with ttools. My flight plans show, but the assigned aircraft don't. I double checked with the AI traffic program and my flight plans are there, but no plans are executed. The only aircraft that show are the FS2002 professional edition organic ones.Please help, I am frustated after working for weeks in setting up new traffic. Thanks.

Greetings! I don't know how many of you guys and gals read Airliners Magazine, but the Nov/Dec. issue has a great article about the Bombardier Dash 7 & 8. I thought it might be of interest to those who are flying the fine re-creations of those planes offered to us by the Flightsimonline group and Mr. Frolov (sp?). The mag also has two other interesting articles, one about John Travolta's 707 global tour, and another about the scrapping of an airline.Regards.
