Many thanks if someone can help...just wondering if i'd see improvements going from a tnt2 based card to a Geforce 2 or 4 mx series...also, does Nvidia's universal driver system mean i can just take out one card and plug in the other, or do i still need to uninstall drivers then reinstall same driver??thanks again..

Hi:Everytime I switch to Cockpit view FS2002 Pro and choose to have the panel displayed, the panel starts out fine, then gets all blurry and hazy looking. It always like resets itself and then moves from the right to the left getting hazy and blurry. Sometimes if I just click on the panel...it gets better but only for a few seconds or so.Im using full screen display resolution 1024x768x32.Can anyone help? I have a GeForce4 Ti4600 nvidia card.Thanks,Jonny

I am not sure I understand what WeatherCenter adds. Is it primarily the upper winds and visible thunderheads? I routinely use real weather. What will WeatherCenter add that I am not enjoying now? thanks, as always...Sherm

After working smoothly and without problems since original installation, now when starting FS2002, it immediatly (after the first 747 splash screen) goes back to the desktop, minimized on the taskbar.Waiting a few moments for the scenery to load (in the background)enables a single click on the taskbar icon to bring it up normally . . . but, that extra step is at least an annoyance.Using XP Home with SP1.Does anybody have any idea what could be causing this sudden change in starting FS2002??Many thanks for any help.Jim Turnbull10/09/02

Hi Jaroslaw,I have downloaded your AN2 from here at Avsim, well worth the long download. However I have a problem in that no panel appears. I have installed the aircraft (but there is no install instructions). The aircraft appears in all outside views and flies well but there is no panel from the cockpit view. I get half the lower screen black, no gauges or anything. In the panel folder there are the bmp files and the panel cfg file.I run FS 2002Pro, on Windows XP Home. Any help as it seems a nice aircraft and would be a shame to delete it due to no panel.RegardsPeter.

Has anyone tried this to "trick" ATC into making planes take off and land different runways at an airport? Take an airport EXAMPLE: KLAX; cut out the taxiways connecting the two sides airport so that an airplane can only go to the runway that the overlay is connected to. Comments...

Hi friends,can anyone experienced please suggest how do i have to swap CYUL2002 traffic from main airport to its overlay 2YUL?As you can see...CYUL2002-1_CYUL.TXT uses runway 06L/24R for ARR and DEP, and directs the aircrafts to the main ramp, except for the gates 5 to 12 (domestic finger).CYUL2002-2_2YUL.TXT uses runway 06R/24L for ARR and DEP, and directs the aircrafts to the general aviation parkings, and to gates 5 to 12 (domestic finger) of the main ramp....only 2YUL handle GA traffic and so i suppose i have to swap all GA traffic from CYUL to 2YUL. I had to do the first night flight of my PPL training last night. Generally, I can say that FS2K2 has been invaluable for my training but I was surprised to see how little it prepared me for actual night flight. In no way does the sim prepare you for the dark abyss at the end of a runway on a moonless night. I was surprised how unsettling it was! The few lights surrounding the pattern seemed to race by - everything accelerated. My landmarks we all gone! The approach lights seem to hover in the air and runway markings are much less distinct in real life. I also expected the gauges to be backlit but no - in the Cessna 152 all you get is a little red floodlight over your hea…

first i installed the 40.72 drivers for my GF4 ti4600 but i found the preformance to be terrible so i switched back to 29.42's. i then overclocked my gpu alittle, not too much (and i have previously gone higher so its not the problem) not i find that when i press ALT to get up the menu screen the right hand side of the screen blurs, i have included a screen, please help me if you can, thank you,Lee :-zhelp

I have seen it mentioned here many times, but can anyone tell me how to correct the over-sensitivity in yaw and ground steering when using the CH pedals. I'm sure there's some adjustment that can be made in a .cfg file somewhere but I'm not sure where.Also, please let me know if I can expect any adverse effects when this is manipulated. FS 2002 Pro - CH Virtual Pilot Pro YokeWhile making joystick assignments everything works correctly except the right hat switch on the yoke. No matter which position I select, FS2002 assigns it as POV 0. Even modifying the fs2002.cfg file did not remedy this. I had no problems with this in FS2000 Pro. Any ideas?Thanks

I use POSKY 767 which as we know doesnot have virtual cockpit, is there a way to in flight with Active camera move myself in there somehow so that I could see the wing of my aircraft (passanger perspective), therefore flaps extending etc.I think it would include option like "see own aircraft from cockpit" tha I think used to be for FS98 and maybe the FS2000 is there one for fs2k2, can't seem to get this figured out.Thanks for any help.AndyPS: Great add-on for running around the airport, "try crossing the runway in front of landing AI plane" lot of fun add-on.Big Thank you for the authors.

Just flown FS2002 to Dallas at night - impressive! SOmehow the default night scenery is not only spectacular in it's own right, but it actually works here. I mean, the most unrealistic thing about city night lighting in NY, Chicago etc is the repetitive 'patterned' lighting, it just don't look real. SOmehow they made it look more random and real in Dallas- my guess is this was one of the last cities they worked on and they were getting better by then.Talking of getting better - since I got the new 40.52 on my Win98se system, I have never seen such great looking, detailed textures in FSAll from me Georgethetee

When I run certain sceneries (such as Sundance Airpark) the scenery is loaded with what look like huge white paper cut-outs where I would assume trees should be. I may be wrong. I notice that the scenery (and several others that have the same problem) require that Airport 2.xx and VOD Textures be installed in the main texture folder of MSFS2002. Would not having these files installed cause such a thing? (You can cruise right through them without crashing too...I just tell my girlfriend they are wind deflectors...)
