It appears that the zoom number in the upper right corner no longer appears in the VC for a short time when using Active Camera Pro?Is it possible to restore that feature?Thanx,Howard

Hi all,Wondering if anyone has had the following problem with ANY panel, default or add-on. The panels distort (blur), meaning they change colors (red, yellow) or it is like the pixels seem to expand. Then everything goes back to norm. Just a constant back and forth, distortion, norm, distortion, norm. It's hard to mentally visulize but since I don't know how to get a screen shot within Avsim's size boundaries, I have to put it in words.I can't remember when it first happened, whether it was after installing a new scenery, a new version FSUIPC, or when it was.If anyone can understand what I'm trying to say or has experienced anything like this, please respond. Hi all I am doing all my flying curently with the PIC767 and absolitely love it but i would like to try one of the shorter range aircraft(smaller) and so i wouild like some informed opinions as too which of the above mentined aircraft would be the one to buy- what are the strengths and weaknesses of each as they compare to PIC767 which to me is the best add-on ever created. cheers

Starting about 2 days ago..whenever I leave an airport and hit autopilot to engage the FSNav flightplan, my plane can't seem to climb above 8900 ft. and often decides to nosedive into the ground. I am going to reinstall, but wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem recently.

Overall I am pretty happy with my system but from time to time I wonder if there are some improvements I could make to get better performance. Help please! I began installing the base installer of Project AI and the Delta Express package and then after starting FS 2002 again, I have no default traffic at all!Any ideas other than a complete reinstall?Eric

I'm sure that just about everyone is aware of the disappearing taxiway problem with FS 2002 (KMSP for example). I seem to recall that someone came up with a fix for this problem, but, beyond that my memory becomes useless.If there was/is such a fix, will someone please direct me to same.Thanx in advance.JHA

Need some help with "ifdg-752-ba-uniontail" by Sandy Richardson. This zip was in the files today. However it does not contain a Readme file with instructions. I have successfully added many new textures in the past however I realize I'm not doing something right here. I did create new Texture.xxxx folder for Union Jack textures in Mike Stone's 757-200 Aircraft folder and placed them there, pointed new cnfg entry to this texture. I just get blank plane in FS listings. I then tried dumping textures in with previous folder of textures, still blank. I see that bmps in folder are named differently than other texture files. I'm thinking of getting a Creative Ge Ti4600 as my next card. Sorry if this has been asked before, but I would want it to run two monitors. I understand that it may be possible to connect a second monitor to the DVI output but is this a direct connection, or is it thro' some sort of converter or is there some other means of doing what I want. I just started fooling around with this add-on, and I must say that this gets my vote for best mod for FS2002 to date. I can't believe how much the head movement adds to the VC. Using the middle mouse button is great in VC mode for both panning and zooming. Hi All,Does anyone know a way to avoid (or minimize) a decrease in FS2002 panel brightness when the aircraft turns in the direction of the sun?I have to set my monitor screen contrast and screen brightness to almost max to read the VC panel gauges when the airplane turns in the direction of the sun!Thanks in advance for any tip or trickFrans

Does anyone else have this yet? I have to send mine back to get it replaced cause it kills my machine. Cyberpower has given me the option of going with the GeForce 4 4600ti instead. They say it's a more stable product. any feedback from you all would be appreciated.thanks

I've been trying to install ActiveSky on my machine, but every time I tried it I am getting a warning that "some system files are outdated", asking me if a reboot should be performed and the outdated files replaced. I tried clicking "yes", but apparently the files were not replaced, because the programme would not install. I've been having the same problem with a few tools for Train Sim as well.I'm using Win 2000 Pro, and I think that I have enabled all required administrator rights for my user profile. However, I cannot rule out that I might have overlooked something.Can you give me any advice how I could get AS working anyway?Cheers,

Hi guys,I really need some help here, I hope anyone with any ideas could give me some advise here. I've tried everything I know but there's no improvement.I just reformatted my computer due to corrupted system files. I am running on Windows98. I re-installed FS as you could expect but I get pretty low framerates. All the settings in the display menu are set lower than what I used to have before the sysem crash and i get fps at about 20 on the ground, with default scenery and much more aircraft. Now, I get about 10 with no add on sceneries, only a few Pai aircraft package. It's very noticeable that efficency has gone down dramatically, I can even get about 6 at some airpor…

Ok, here's the situation I was in. Flying into KOSU (Ohio State University) with a heavy crosswind. It was blowing from my 10 O'clock position at about 20 knots. I was angled into the wind and it appeared as though I was heading straight onto the runway, although a bit crooked. As soon as I started to power off, I veered off to the right of the runway (still about 35 feet off runway). I powered up a bit more and came back over centerline. When I went to straighten out and touchdown...off I go again. I was in the C-172 with 20* flaps. SO, my question is, what did I do wrong? Should I have went to another airport with a different placed runway, less flaps? If I la…
