Didn't even know FS could do this - Happens to be one of my favorite features of Fly!...why isn't this implemented on more aircraft, especially the big guys? Is it really hard to program or create?AVSIM's meridian review talks about this.http://www.avsim.com/pages/0203/meridian/meridian.htmlAndrew

Has anyone experienced wild erratic instrument behaviour while flying through clouds? I experience this especially with the speed indicator and also the V/S gauge. It happens with all aircrafts. It is so bad that I can no longer fly through clouds because of this. The problem gets worse depending on the amount of cloud coverage. It is virtually impossible for me to approach and land when its heavily overcast. This problem manifests itself only while flying through clouds. If I breack through and fly above the cloud formation things seem to settle down a bit. Is there a FSUIPC setting that might help maybe?Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.Gianluca

Hi everyone:I'm just about done with a project that adds AFCAD files and flight plans to more than 40 small airfields in southern and central British Columbia. Nothing too exciting about that ;-) However, my package will include files and documentation to add a number of freeware GA aircraft to your AI system, including the Pitts S-1S, DHC-2 Beaver and Turbo Beaver, all of which needed to have their .air and aircraft.cfg files tweaked in order to "behave" as AI. Even if you're not interested in B.C., you might be interested in adding those add-ons to your AITRAFFIC.BGL file.In the accompanying "manual", I wanted to share what I have learned about AI behavior and how to ma…

Hello everybody, Since I do not have contact with the FS team, I was hoping maybe someone in the forum could answer a question I had about ATC in 2004. Anyway, maybe you read this somewhere or maybe not, but do any of you people know if Microsoft has designed the new ATC to take in account the winds for landing. Lets say we are at O'hare in FS2002. As you know, the ATC will only use 32L/14R for landings and departures no matter what the winds, and you need to use AFCAD to adjust the runways for the winds. Now I see the 2004 ATC will use multi-runway setups, but I fear that 2004 will just use 32L/14R and 32R/14L, again, ignoring the winds. I hope if they plan to use mult…

Hello,I'm new to FS2k2 and this forum, so I hope I'm at the right place. I have a new P4 2.66G with 512 megs of 333 ddr ram with a GF 4 ti, running xp pro with DX9. I have target fps set at 28 and most of the settings are maxed, except for dyn. scenery. The textures look quite blurry and at night the ground lights from the big cities don't glow like in FS2k. Overall the textures look bad. While flying over NYC in real life, the city lights up the sky. In FS2k2 I can hardely see the city lights. Any ideas? Thanks

Due to losing my patience for putting up with fools like the one that sent me this email along with a dozen others, I have decided to quit FFX/SGA as well as freelancing for the FS community. Lately I have lacked the time and inspiration to paint or work on FDE's anyway. My upcoming move to Florida also consumes much of my time. The FS community is being overrun by fools like this person and making life miserable for those of us that still try to enjoy it. At 40, I don't believe I have to put up with this anymore in my life. Maybe as a kid in grade or high school, but not anymore. Too bad this person doesn't have the balls to say something like this to anyones (let alone m…

Do you Live in Spokane?????If you do maybe you can help me out. As most of you know Microsofts depiction of many of the airfields just plain stinks and many have been replaced by many fine freeware and payware projects.I am finaly starting to doing a replacement for Spokane International and need photos of the terminal building both on the Gate side as well as the ARR/DEP pickup drivway areas and maybe a overview shot of the main cargo area to.If you can help me out contact me via the private message feature on this site, I will see to it you share in the credits on this project.RegardsRandy

  18. What is the difference between RAFCADs and AFCADs? On Project AI's web site they have RAFCADs available to download. Now so far I have only used AFCADs, so I would like to know what the difference is.

Can Microsoft release it in FS2002's box? If my wife sees a box that says FS2004, I will be subject to unbearable ridicule. It may prevent me from making a purchase. This is serious :)Other packaging suggestions:In a Betty Crocker box....In a book entitled "2004 ways to better communication in your marriage"In a travel pamphlet on Cancun....Any other suggestions folks? Can any husbands (or wives, if the shoe is on the other foot) relate? And, how many read this thread thinking someone was going to rant :)

Hello, I seem to have a problem with my Virtual Pilot Pro, where it slowly banks to the left. I fool around with the trim wheel on the yoke, and only when I get about 3/4 to the right does it even out, but then their is too much input needed to bank it to the left, compared to the right!. I was hoping someone had some sort of fix for this annoying problem! Thanks,Kevin

Hi there.Recently i came across a problem where the views change by themselves.Usually this happens when flying in spot view and fairly close to an airfield. The outside view swaps automatically to the cockpit, really annoying at times. When this happens, the landing gear deploy too!Has anyone else come across this type of problem before? Its been sending me crazy trying to figure out what could be causing this. I did wonder if it was an iffy button on my logitech wingman force stick, but all calibration tests seem ok.Anyone any ideas???????? http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/trev.jpg
