This is by no means a slight against the author of EZ Landclass (great job Russel!), who gave me credit in his documentation as being inspiration for his work. But I have to ask why Avsim rated EZ Landclass a headline, when my program (Landclass Assistant - which has been out about a year) has not received one mention on Avsim's home page?Considering there's a fair amount of scenery in our library created with it, and the dedication I feel I've shown towards keeping it up to date and supporting people who use it, I am somewhat offended. Does anyone know of any guide to flying these things by airline standards?I'm planning on sticking with the 737 for a while and remember reading about exception freeware ones... or panels, or something, but I can't seem to find them. I remember something about cabin warning calls being build into buttons on the panel.(Remember ATP?)It would be nice to be able to script to rate a flight by performance like ATP did. I don't know if the new scripting will allow this.But mostly, I'd like to find a guide to flying the 737 in a way to avoid unnecessary carpet shampooing.cheersAndrew

Can someone enlighten me as to the differences between these two top end cards? I am upgrading and it looks like I am going to have to get the 9800Pro because that is what the Dell XPS uses. Thanks.

When you want to set you're yoke to let's say "gear" to button 1 you can slide the repeat slider to where ever you want it -what exackly does that do and when is it criticle to have it set right -i don't really under stand the repeat 6thing----Louis

:-newbie As I'm new to this inc Simming please understand what would seem to be a dubm question. How can I select reverse thrust on say the 777 upon landing to slow myself down, I've got the hang of the spoilers and the autobrake but cannot get the reverse trust to work. Tried looking at the assignments etc for the keyboard and my joystick... Num3 or F3 are assigned to decrease throttle but the reversers do not engage.Thanks for any help.Stewart (UK)

Hi All,I'm running a high powered system with Radeon 9700, and I think I may have what I've seen referred to as "Stutters" in FS2002, particulalry in my VC view. Rather than start a new post and waste people's time, there seems to be some good advice on the issue already, but nobody ever says exactly what they mean by "stutter". Could some people who have had this problem please describe what it looks like, so I know if that's the issue on my machine?Thanks!Best,Joel

I have been reading several previous posts discussing the ATC Vectors available [and seen that they should be available from reading the FS help files]. Although I have been flying FS2002 since it was released, I have yet to be given any vectors by ATC. On approach freq, the only options I get are "transit B airspace" or "airfield options". I use either FS Nav or the aircraft's FMC to plan and fly my flights.Grateful for any help on how I am missing this facility - do I somehow need to file a flightplan from FS Nav to FS2002 ATC perhaps?

Hiya guys end Girls, :)Last week I have been in a Flight Simulator F70 session was very glad to have been in it once, and I had to make 3 landings on my own and all three landings were good (very good) according the captain and FS Instructor. ...I just can't get used to this new forum format. Reading posts here is like plowing through an old dark closet. Everything is kind of jumbled up, it's not very easy to find what you're looking for, and it's tough to see it once you get your hands on it. Wading through the Sea-of-Blue is really getting to be hard work on these old eyes. It seems like I'm spending more and more time at the Other Place. Any other Old Guys found a way to cope with it? Or, am I just being a complainer who needs to get his eyes checked? Trip

I would like real word daily weather information such as cloud cover/altitudes, temps, winds winds aloft etc for use in both GA and long haul airliner routes. Using Aircraft designed for FS 2000 in FS 2002 I can't restart the engines by pressing STRG+E , because there is no ignition. Can anybody tell me why?The sounds are aliased to FS 2002 Aircraft which are running fine.When I start with a FS 2000 Aircraft, the Engine runs, but after shutting down, there is no restart possible.HORAZ

Hello,Would appreciate someone to help regarding assigning wingview for Ariane BBJ and so far have found no relevant info in Ariane manual.I would like to know if someone had the problem and how to solve it.What do I want to do ?Just see the wings from several different fixed-cockpit views, such as view left, view right,(to see wings at 90/270 degrees) and view forward left and forward right (to see wings at 135/225 degrees). I am used to assign standard aircraft views using the panel.cfg text together with bmp.files places in ac panel folders, but with the Ariane BBJ, it seems this has to be worked out from the aircraft.cfg, using eyepoints as reference, as the wing-pai…

Would be most grateful for advice or redirection to a thread dealing with this (did search couldn't find anything specific).I want to add an ADF/NDB gauge to my freeware Robin DR400. There are three blank gauges on the main panel.bmp specifically for adding extra gauges but I cannot work out how to add the default cessna ADF gauge to the DR400's main panel.Thanks in advance!Adam

Goodness gracious, have ya tried getting these things installed and actually working properly? Lockdowns, features don't work, map displays backward, won't couple to the default aircraft panel OBS's as dictated.I have found, however, that my DELETE key still works great, I just tried it out. Hmmm. It's free, there is no support, has a bunch of problems, no fixes in sight. Can you say MICROSOFT :) Yep, I know who bought this progam out, the earmarkings are there.

While I'm working on my other computer I often leave FS running and just enjoy the view...One really nice one is front view, about FL30, no panel, tilted down....In fact, this would make a nice feature or add-on. Passenger-type thing.Has anyone modeled a virtual restroom? ;)Just saying.Andrew
