I recently purchased the very nice Papua New Guinea Bush Flying scenery and have been doing some bush flying with the Ozx G21A Goose HD Redux. Surprisingly, I'm finding takeoffs and landing way more challenging that expected; I have a very hard time keeping the plane on the runway. If there is a cross wind, on take offs there doesn't seem to be enough rudder control to keep the plane on the strips. Is this plane flown with the engines more so than the rudder? I can cross wind takeoff if I apply uneven throttle amounts but I'm not sure if this is done in real life.

Simmers, Recently, I've been experiencing an issue which, to be honest, is quite small and seemingly menial, but it's distracting and rather annoying. Especially considering that I cannot for the life of me find a solution for it. Basically, whenever I right-click, a small green FPS counter appears in the top left of the screen. Also, when I open another window (like, for say, the FS2C window), the green counter appears in the top left corner of the new window, even if I haven't right clicked. I can't think of any addons which would do this. I've heard that F10 can solve this issue somewhere, but it hasn't for me. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated - thanks! …

I am using FS Passengers and their forum won't let me register. I download the PA46T payload off their website. The editor clearly states max of 4 passengers. But when I start a load flight it only lets me load 2 passengers, it says nothing about 4. Any help?

I am an experienced FS user but new to the FSX world. I have started using FSX-SE and love it. I am asking for some advice or feedback on purchases I am considering to enhance it. I have already installed FSUIPC, A2A Accu-sim and Zinnertek airport enhancer. (A so-so product) What I really want to focus on at this point is global enhancements. Here are the products I'm leaning toward. One question is which do people think adds best value to SE and also if any of them do the same things and cancel each other out? (if any...) I just got this cool little thing but before i buy the full version, i'm wanting to record a landing on my 737NGX but with the recorder actually at the front window like you see on RW videos of pilots having the camera at the window!? Because it can be done with EZCA cameras but then how will i actually fly the plane then? Cheers.

I had my PMDG, FSUIPC and many other addons under my addon tab at the top of the screen. I did a stand alone manager update to my Couatl products. I went to do another flight and when I came back, all my addons are gone from the add on menu except ASN request, Add on manager and Couatl products. Any thoughts? I tried restarting the computer as well and still the same outcome. I use the saitek pro flight yoke and throttle so my FSUIPC is neccessary for all my profiles. But the weird thing is where did all the others go.

Hi, I did a flight EGLL-LJLJ today. Before my flight I installed the above mentioned files. The result was that the scenery during my flight was deteorirated (like LOD 3.5...) and the fw LJLJ airport was deep in a canyon. Before this particular add-on has been correctly elevated. And I use FTXG, Global2011, and ORBX EU lc. Anybody else seen this? Petteri

FsRecorder doesnt work. I try to use Instant Replay for landings are hard because it doesnt show spoilers/ and or Traffic.

Hi all, I know I'm a tad late to the party, but I was just wondering if people have been making the switch to FSX Steam? I've been considering it, since multiplayer features have been re-enabled and I understand that it will receive updates from Dovetail. I was just curious if anyone ran into any problems when making the switch from the boxed version to the Steam version of FSX? Does FSX Steam require the same modifications to be made (I've made a few simple changes to the config file)? Also has anyone had any problems with their add-ons? Good afternoon, The ILS approach for TXKF is on the left side of the runway. How can I fix it to the center of the runway? I was doing autoland and noticed the runway was on the right of the ILS so I disconnected the autopilot and steered the plane to the runway. I will appreciate if you could give me guide or find a fix online for me to download. Thanks! Brian

Hello from a new buyer of the Dash8 Q400, I just purchased the DVD version of this highly acclaimed product, but I have run into a roadblock already. I get to the point of being prompted to enter the license key, and when that is done, the install program just hangs up and will not proceed any further. I have tried multiple times with the same result, and thus I am writing here to see if anyone else has experienced this lockout during the installation process. Any help that can be offered will be much appreciated. I waited for a long time for this delivery to be made, and now that the Q400 is here, I cannot even install or use it.

when i brought up my menu bar selected addons all of my addons under that menu are now gone? except EZCA. Not sure what to do here thanks

Hi guys, in your opinion which is the best angle and zoom settings view for TrackIR 5? I use it with EZCA and am satisfied, but it seems that angle view is not like in real life counterpart, especially during taxy. It's too close. I dont' know if it's possible to reproduce the same view you have in a real cockpit. Human has a wide angle view vs TrackIR, and the only way you can achieve this result is to zoom out your point of view position. So, have you find special or optimal settings angle and zoom view for your trackIR? Thanks so much for your replies, very appreciated.

Hi, i have this Acer aspire (it sucks) but this is what im using as my gamer pc has been stolen. so if anyone knows how i can run fsx smooth i will aprreciate all the help i can get. There is no way to register for FSpassengers forum and I am trying to fly one of my payware aircraft either bonanza or legacy. FS Passengers doesn't recognize the payload model. I choose the default and then when I go to the passengers it says there is no passengers waiting at the gate. Can anybody help me?

I started using FSX-SE a week ago and at first it worked flawlessly. But since doing some of the fixes listed in this forum I now have an odd problem. Jets and turboprops work normally but as soon as I try to fly an aircraft with piston engines, it dies instantly and can't be restarted. The"fixes" involved installing the SimConn legacy files, new GoFlight drivers and latest version of FSUIPC. All my hardware (Saitek Pro Yoke and Throttle Quadrant, CH Pro rudder pedals and sundry GoFlight modules) working normally, have checked for "failures" (none), all settings normal. I'm going to Italy next fall, and can't wait, so I figured, when I finally get everything working again that I'd fly around there first, maybe with the lancair legacy. I've got FTX global/vector, and was wondering if anyone did any real flying there? I used to have several routes to Rome, but never really explored the place.

I have the a2a c172. It holds 3 other passengers and the pilot. Fs passengers will only let me load a max of one passenger.
