I just purchased and downloaded FSGeneis' USA LandClass.It was a self extracting and installing file.I'll be very honest, I can't tell that much difference. I also have FSGenesis Mesh Terrain installed. If this sounds like heresy, I do not intend for it to be.Where; in the FS2004 directories did the USA landclass install itself? I want to go there and see if it really is in FS2004. I'm sure it said where it was installing it to during installation but I am unable to remember _exactly_ where it said.Thanks,DonaldS

Howdy all,I need some better ground textures in FS9. I find the night city textures in FS9 to be particularly bland. Can I use the textures I was using in FS2002? Does anyone know of a way to disable the touch down smoke in FS2004? If I am watching a landing from tower view or spot plane view, everything runs smooth until touchdown when the could of smoke appears. I tried to remove the "fx_tchdwn" from my effects folder and this stopped the smoke from apearing but the game still locked up for a fraction of a second. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated. One more question....Does anybody know how to change the speed in which the strobe lights blink on the aircraft? Hi,anyone able to help with this.FSMETEO v6.3 Freezes when I try to download weather. NTDLL.dll is blamed for this.Using WINXP home.CPU usage is at approx 98% with FS METEO running, coming down substantially when I exit from it.Thanks for any help.

I've installed the latest water texture enhancements available in the file library, and I've had a question even back with the original MS textures. In the 2 pics below, you can see how the water texture is fluctuating between small rippled waves and then to completely flat, and then back again.Am I loosing it, or is SUPPOSED to do that? Hi,I seem to have a bit of a problem with Lonny's great 757 panel and Posky 757. I have installed 1.1 package, the 1.2 update, the 2 gauge updates and the FS2004 update. When I start the engines and they are idling EGT seems to be very high 557 and 548. Epr is 1.22 and N1 19.4. With throttle only advanced half way the EGT values jump to RED and EPR is way over the value that FMC recommends. Anyone run into this and know a way to fix it, or is it user error :) ?

Hi All,I could use a little help if possible. I have only flown the POSKY 757 once with the Lonny Pane panel. I believe due to some experience with the PMDG 737NG I seemed to pretty much figure out how to take care of everything, except one thing. I get something like 'Cabin Alt Alert' red in color and a tone that keeps going off which understandably accompanies this. I tried to figure out what to do on the panel but didn't manage to. Can anyone tell me what I need to do? I take it I'm letting cabin pressure go down the tubes. Thought I saw an area on the panel to manage this but couldn't seem to do much there.Thanks,Jim

I struggle with this as I want scenery "eye candy" and lots of AIalso.Do any of you fly w/Airline or GA unchecked based on what type of flight you are doing?I wish we could have 100 % GA but say 20 % Airlines or visa-versa. - maybe we could have seperate traffic .bgl that have that reduced mix.- Myles

Begging for help!....I am at my wits end! *:-* My FS9 works as long as i do not input anything via my keyboard (I can use the mouse ok)...then it crashes big time! I read in Computer Pilot that all the airline's call signs are included in FS 2004. Does anyone know how to access them to get ATC to use them?Greg

I just downloaded the Long Island Classics Super Decathlon and I am in awe of this aircraft! The flight characteristics are like none I've ever felt before in FS, such as the feel of the occasional unrecoverable spin when the flight envelope is pushed to its limits!I think this aircraft presents a taste of the potential of FS2004, and I'm excited!Gotta get back to flying this fantastic aircraft...James

After weeks of frustration with really crappy FS9 performance, and doing the driver shuffle numerous times with no improvements, I discovered that the root cause of my problems was the windows XP refresh rate. I set the refresh rate overide in DxDiag to 85, but it still made no difference in FS9. I run at 1280x1024x32 on my desktop and in FS9. I had severe shimmer, sparkle, and stuttering no matter what I set AA and Ansio too. I have an XP2700 CPU, ATI Radeon 9600 Pro, and 768 GB PC2700 DDR Ram, so I knew that I should be getting reasonably good performance. I tried the ATI Cat 3.7, and 3.8 official drivers, and the Omega 3.7, and 3.8 leaked Dell drivers. The result was s…
