I have already put this on the Pheonix Forum, and got an answer to the first question that all engines and APU must be off for fuel adjustments. I have received no replies relative to the second two questions and thought that maybe with more exposure someone might know the solution here, particularly to the third question. 1. How do you adjust fuel quantity? In PS9's fuel and payload> change fuel provisions, when I make a change and check ok, my change is not retained and the quantity goes back to the original figures. I have not flown FS9 in over a month or more. I did a couple of flights yesterday, and I noticed that it doesn't look as good as I remembered.I'm running Cat 3.9s, and I've got it forced to 2xAA and 4xAF. The box in FS9's hardware tab for AA is unchecked.I've attached 3 full size screen shots, the first one is with AA and AF off, the second is with 2xAA and 4xAF, and the third one is with 4xAA and 16xAF. They are all identical. I did close and restarted FS after changing the settings.I think I was running Cat 3.7 last time I flew, I noticed they fixed the flickering in the 3.9's, but did they break AA and AF?

Hello fellow flight simmers and pilots! I purchased FS9 when it came out this summer and have been having problems with add on aircraft and Windows XP Professional. When I first got FS9 I was using Windows 98 and got horrible frame rates and all that good stuff, but at leas I was able to use it. Now with XP I will start everything up, push back, start to taxi and after about 10 minutes of it running it will shut down. I can start it back up and it will do the same thing again, I can restart it and again, same results. I have also tried default aircraft and have had mixed results. Cool aircraft, and very well presented sim, I've even managed to understand the FMS, however I don't know about anyone else but I think OELTN is a very uncool callsign! :-roll I found that by opening the airline config file in FS2002, you can add new airline callsigns, and they do work with all my other third party aircraft, but sadly not the Dash.I run the Dash 8 in FS2002, I tried to change the callsign and flight number in the aircraft selection area of the program, and although the flight number changes, I just cannot get the ATC callsigns to work. I am having annoying problems with FS9. When I try to open the cargo doors of any aircraft, it will not recognize the 2 after I press shift-e. I will only open the main exit. I have checked with a bunch of different aircraft, and they all have this problem. Any ideas?

I overwrote my default cloud Textures and forgot to back them up, would it be possible for someone here if they could be kind enough to zip the default textures up and send them to me? I would really appreciate it.

Most times when I fly the PMDG 737 & land, I am told to contact ground. I do - expecting to get an option to taxi to the gate for parking (at which I would usually turn on the progressive taxi option). Most times when I land, I get this annoying option that says - "Taxi for Takeoff Options". Then if I want to contact ground after landing, I get all these options for taking off again. The 8th one is on that says, "Taxi to parking options.." But when I press this, it only takes me right back to all the options on Taking off again. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? Guys:Has anyone else noticed that FSMeteo is failing to set the lowest cloud layer?I have seen this happen at my destination airport quite a bit; it's pretty obvious when the METAR is saying OVC007 and all you see if SCT150 (for example). Occasionally, I'll go into the Weather selection and check, and sure enough the lowest layer doesn't exist.I have not seen this happen at my departure airport, and I have no idea if it's happening to airports while I'm enroute; but I certainly notice it a the destination.James

I'm not sure if this was a problem with FS2K2 or just new to FS9, or new to the latest NVidia video drivers I installed.In any case, when I select either of the two forms below (there maybe more forms/views that cause this problem), the CPU/cabinet fanson my PC increase their RPM/speed to a tremendous amount. The CPU ispegged at 100% (which is usually the case while FS9 runs). I am considering the jump from jet aircraft to general aviation aircraft because I am simple getting bored with the big jets. I have flown some G.A. aircraft in the past. I am considering the Piper Meridian from Flight One software. Have any of you purchased this aircraft (for FS9) and if so, is it worth the money? I am on a somewhat limited budget and don't want to waiste money on a product that might not get good reviews from my follow pilots. :)Thanks,Tom

I've taken a month or so off from FS9 since I've been moving and such lately. Just had a chance to come back to it this weekend. I was browsing through the recent additions to Avsim and saw that POSKY released their 757-200 recently! The 757 is probably my favorite airliner. I quickly downloaded a bunch of liveries, Lonny Payne's awesome panel, and a great soundset originally built for FS2000 by Daniel Carari and went flying.What a TERRIFIC package! The POSKY model is drop dead GORGEOUS, and Lonny's panel works beautifully with it. The sound set from Mr. Carari is alot nicer and sounds more authentic by far than the default 737 package :)Just wanted to say THANKS to…

I just confirmed this most recent build of PS is causing a conflict with FS when you use PS hotkeys. This never occured with prior versions of PS and FS2004 for me. Michael Campbell was nice enough to send me a former version and all is well again. The symptom is: when you use any hotkey (with any global modifier) in Powerstrip there is a serious hang of Powerstrip, and also it can affect the response of FS to view changes etc. Of course this may be peculiar to my machine and config, but it is definitely a problem on this machine.Noel

Hi, i wonder if anyone knows why FS2004 sometimes crashes to the desktop when loading a flight? It will always happen at 52/53% and no error messages are displayed. All the flights have been in western europe and the only europe-wide scenery i have is LAGO's terramesh. The crashes don't happen always but about 1 in every 3 tries.Thanks, Mark

I sometimes see posts suggesting amendments in FS2004 to the FS9.cfg file. In the same folder, I have a FS9.cfg.txt file. Which one should I be editing?Thanks

Its not anymore disappointing to see a flat landscape where in reality are rocky hills and small mountains.
