Hi,Iam from the Virtual Sim Group www.virtualsimgroup.comWe develop freeware Game addons and telecommuniction solutions.We want to propose a small project to develop a portal system, which we will design, that will act as a register/database for European Flight Sim Developers/ Fan Sites/ Downloads etc.We would would require sponsership for a domainname and hosting.Maby if we are lucky, AVSIM might host it.But before all that, who thinks this is a good idea and would people use it ??

A couple of days ago I downloaded the IFDG MD-11, it's a very good plane but I cant find a good MD-11 panel for it. Can anyone recomend a good one? (one that works in FS2004)Thanks :-)

Hi, I tried to set from the nvidia setting the AA and the AF to fixed values, say 4X for AA and 4X for AF.Then I start FS 2004 , I can see the difference, it looks way better, but here is the problem, I seem to have something similar to a CTD!!!Now if I set those parameters as application controlled, FS2004 seem to be a bit more stable.Now I'm a bit desperate about this as I'm never sure whether I'll experience a crash or no. Could it be faulty card, card overheating (Anyone using a shuttle having similar issues), faulty RAM? I don't know what it is, but I'm ready to hear any suggestions!!!!Oh, I have the latest drivers 53.03 too.RegardsFrancois

despite the fact that I AM SWITCHING ON THE ANTIICE , I am loosing airspeed indication when I fly in icing condition with the A330 Poskydoes anybody knows how to cure this?patrick

I use to get about 12-15fps in heavy weather and dense scenery areas. I have not changed anything with the sim and for some reason I am lucky to get a half descent slide show now in the same areas(3-5fps). Any ideas form anyone would be much appreciated.My specs are:AMD 2400+512 DDR 2700 RAMGeforce 4 MX 440 with AGP8X 64mb80gig HD19" monitor

Strange problem this morning. No matter what Aircraft I go to there are no LED readouts for the Radio stack. Default or addon. Tried the IK-DC9, Dreamfleet 310, all the default aircraft. Nothing. I know they are working, because I can hit the VOR 1 button and it will ident the VOR in morse code. And if I click on the standby button, it stops. So I know the radios are working. I know, that was my first thought, a failure or something like that. I have not played with the CFG any recently. I have not installed or uninstalled anything except some scenery files.I can't remember this before, and the search turned up nothing.Looking at the default Cessna, it looks like my clock…

By chance, I found the remarkable F-16 Viper in the library (usviper.zip).. Since I already have a T-38 combat jet trainer, I was not sure whether to download yet one more airforce jet.. but I figured I can always delete it if I do not like it.. Boy, was I surprised! This thing is so real, you feel you have to pinch yourself..If you are even remotely interested in flying an F-16, download this baby and the cockpit (download instructions in the documentation).I've attached a screenshot to give you a flavor of what I am talking about..

Guys, Need help on this small issue if anybody knows what to do. I've recently upgraded computers and have just one small problem. I have a slight ghost apperance to any image on my screen. Below is my system specs and I'm running the 45.23 drivers with 85hz refresh. Is it something in my MoBo BIOS or a display setting. Any help would be great. All else fails I could live with it but sure dont wont to.

After looking through FS9 help on multiplayer setups, I found the information lacking detail. I thought the members of this forum would be a much better source of info, so here goes...1. Is a peer to peer hookup possible? (myself at one computer, and another at a computer across the country).2. Can fs2002 and fs9 be connected through multiplayer3. Hi all,I just wanted to pass this info on for what its worth. Recently I have been experiencing a CTD while in Spain that occurred everytime I activated the GPS. This occurred no matter what plane I used and only at this particular location in Spain. I had experience with a bad afcad file once before causing a CTD.So I removed my afcad files and low and behold no CTD. I was able to narrow it down after several hours of testing to one AFCAD file in particular that was approx 100 miles away from where my plane was located at another airport that was causing the CTD. That file was for EL PRAT in Barcelona SPAIN and was AF2_LEBL.BGL. that was downloaded here off of this site.…

I'm just wondering, is there a special bond between Microsoft and Paris? Why do I ask? Look at Charles De Gaule aiport in FS9...notice how much more detailed than most others it is, and I just found that in a clean install of FS2002, that the same airport MUST be a third party piece of work....a totally different texture style, transparent windows showing departure lounges internaly, and even 'real' static aircraft...there's a few Lufthansas and KLM's dotted about. Two questions about FS scenery:1. Is it possible to use landclass scenery designed for FS2002 in FS2004 with all features and the same accuracy? I remember early on trying to use some Pacific NW landclass in FS2004 and the scenery turned up wrong with too much urban landclass compared to what it looked like in FS2002 (and in real life). I think the FS9 instrument rating checkride in the flight lessons has serious problems. It seems to me impossible to pass it. The instructions say in the beginning you maintain a 066 heading to pass over the FACTS intersection. The fact is, 066 won't take you to FACTS. After you fail the test, the instructor tells you about all the things you did wrong. Some of them are flat out lies. How can you fail all those if all you did was follow the instructions?Like I said, serious problems.

Whilst upgrading my computer I made a mistake and lost all the files and evidence of purchase of my Swedflight scenery which I had originally installed in FS2002 before upgrading to FS9.I sent an email to Swedflight and within two minutes they replied and went to incredible lenghts to locate the files and guide me through the installation. This was customer service at its very best. I say to them THANK YOU.

I'm booking a trip in May on board an Airbus A310-300. I'm getting 2 different seating plans, from 2 sources.Air Transat's Website shows the A310-300 as seating 3-3-3 in the main portion of the aircraft, Airbus's site shows it to be 2-4-2.Which is it?
