Hi folks.Can anyone of you kindly help me in setting both FSUIPC and FSMeteo visibility? What i need are values in FSUIPC.ini (visibility tab) and FSMeteo.ini (disable extended visibility) to make them compatibles regard graduated/reduced max visibility (and save fps!)Thanks in advanceLuigi ;-)

Just curious if anyone can tell me what the fly by wire thing is for this addon. Is it a plug in for say PSS airbus and allows the PSS's fly by wire to act properly. I see it is 10 MB so it can be a whole addon plane itself.

Well, I didn't really think much about doing it to be honest. I had read the posts in advance and knew right away that those folks who'd done it were talking sense and made sense.I spent 6 hours on my system with Mr. Greenblatt yesterday and now I have a maxed out sim with all lighting, FSAA, and anisotropic effects that I either had never seen before or could never use before without crippling my DELL P4 2.53Ghz. I also learned that there is a lot of nonsense advice offered on various sim forumsIt was a lot of work and this is not for the faint of heart. Ive been getting crashes with the error: "Directory cache error"It can crash Windows XP or just FS( depends sometimes.Anyone experience this?I had installed 9800pro, removed it and re-installed my FX videocard when this problem surfaced.been re-installing drivers to no avail.Allen

Started flying the Vega but the Sperry Autopilot does not function.I flew the DC3 Sperry without problems. Looked in the ac conif file and autopilot=1 Can anyone offer help

Hi,Before I go through the long task of re-installing FS9 can anyoneassist. This is the problem. The joystick refuses to work properlyin the elevator and airelons axis when on the ground. But, thisonly occurs in FS9 not FS2002 which I still have installed. Theproblem is with all aircraft incidently in FS9. This did not occurbefore however, all was well but it is now apparent. I have triedcalibration etc etc etc and all assignments are in place. Allother aspects of the joystick assignments do work however!! Clearly, the joystick is okay since it is with FS9 onlyAny ideas before I re-install please???????John

would anyone know what file is the default settings for msfs2002 I want to back it up because i will be maing heavy mods to msfs2002 such as the default airport aircraft and aircraft settings as well if anything were to go wrong i would be able to pull it off cdTIA Paul

Hi all, Been gone about a year but just got a new Dell 8300 w/all the stuff...FS2002 was the first program on! Pulled the ol' FF2 joystick out of the closet, but lost the software CD. It works, but no feedback. Checked the net and the stick has been discontinued and MS doesn't have a spot to download the drivers. Great. Anybody have a copy of the darn thing? Would greatly appreciate it. Don't really want to buy a new stick.Mark

Greetings!:-waveI am currently opperating a CH Flight Yoke(3 levers). I fly the DC3 a lot and need to implement differencial power from the 2 engines a lot, especially during taxi.This means I have to select the left engine using the button E followed by 1, or the right engine by using E followed by 2, seeing that i only have 1 throttle lever.My problem comes sometimes when i need to select a single engine. I press E,1 (left in this case) and for some reason nothing happens. It will stay on the previous setting(usually both engines). It is as if button E isn't assigned to ENGINE assignment.I usually have to exit the game altogether and then load up again. A REAL pain!!!An…

To All FS Community members and Customers: My personal thoughts first: As you know we as developers keep personally involved and informed with the MSFS team. They ask specificly to hear about our projects that we have in the works. This is not for development reasons but more because they themselves enjoy the hobby just as much as we do and care equally about it. Back in the FS2K2 days, someone posted a file here that multiplied by alot the number of trees per sq mile.It really made the world look nice.Does anybody know of something similar for FS9? Hi, folks-Can any of you tell me what paperwork is involved in dispatching a flight from the pilot's perspective in actual commercial ops for different airlines? Or even better yet, email me scanned samples (simonatsymbolbinderdotsymbolorg)?For me, the pre-flight prep is as important (and fun) part of the flight as the actual flying. I'm trying to simulate actual commercial ops as closely as possible, and although I wouldn't go so far as accounting for meals or things like that, I'd love to find or create a program that could generate dispatch paperwork as close as possible to the real thing. Guys,PSS ignored me again. I did not flame them but pointed where a problem is, what makes me think asking for refund, because I have this and other problems all the time and no one of PSS ever tried to help me. So, is my message a flameing???And do you know any help or trick to get it working?hey PSS,somehow the memory leak problem seems never gotten fixed at all... I am very sorry, but now three times in a row my FS9/WinXp crashed while flying the Airbus 340-200. I'm posting this to say thanks to Avsim - and those who contibute to the knowledge base and file library here.Why?.............After running FS9 successfully since it came out - yesterday I suffered my first CTDs( other than an episode with the infamous railroad textures months ago).These were in the Anchorage area at Elmendorf or Lake Hood.Changing seasons stopped it so it seemed it had to be seasonal. I was able to come here- put in a search of posts for "seasonal CTD fix", download the fix - install it - all in a matter of minutes. Problem gone!It just made me realise how much help this forum and the information it contains is to all of us.Thankyou all.Dave

Registered for the above, and installed, scanned FS9 and two otherdirectories for scenery bgls. When I then close and re-start theprogram the loading page appears and the program appears in theTask Bar processes window only to the disappear failing to loadthe main page.If I do not scan the largest of the scenery directories, then the program starts up correctly but then will not import FS9Flight Plans telling me is an FS2004 FP.
