Can somebody out there please help.My FS9 will not start anymore. It never loads past the initial start screen anymore. Don't know why. Don't recall having done any changes to the Software or the System. Using MS Windows xp.I have updated the Grapic Card driver, I have done a system check using Norton utilities. I have de-installed and re-installed FS9 several times, already. I have even deleted all add-ons and settings. Everything seems to be as it should, and yet... FS9 will not load. I am really frustrated.Will I never fly again?Best Regards,CaptCooper

Suddenly I cannot set my fuel amount! Whatever level I set it at, ie: 50%, or 75%, etc, within about three seconds the fuel registers at 100% both on the gauge and using the Shift Z key (red lettering top of the screen).NO: I do NOT have unlimited fuel available.I also noted I was getting Flying Hints showing up; looking in setup I found it had been checked but it was never something I selected.Aircraft weight loadout seems to be a little buggy, but not as consistently as the fuel load which is EVERY TIME.Is this a known issue, with a resolution?Frustrated Dan

Hi all,I'm finding it a pain in the behind when the aircraft levels off momentarily at intermediate levels as assigned by ATC during climb/descent. Would be nice if ATC could issue further climb/descent instructions a minute or so earlier to prevent levelling off. Does anyone know of a fix for this?Darren

I had been using a cheapo pair of speakers that came with my comp and decided it was time for a new set. So I bought a "house" brand that was total crap. Crackling, sound stutters, you name it. So I took them back in disgust and got Creatives. I couldn't believe it. It was like I was hearing what the engines were supposed to sound like for the first time. Even the C172 sounded a little scary :-) And I didn't get a really high-end set. It's amazing the difference it makes.Cheers,Todd

This may not be the correct place to post this. Sorry if this is the case. Thing is I use a small network for my flight simming and one of the client machines recently departed this life. I've just replaced it with a new 'putes running Win XP Home - its predecessor's OS was Win 98 SE. I expected things to improve as all 3 machines now run XP. I connected my new machine to the workgroup, fired up the system and all appeared fine. On this client, I run a moving map, Radar Contact/Adv.Disp and FSFlightMax.All was not fine. Wide FS works OK as does RC and my map. Probs started with FSMax - it was not able to 'see' the FS prog on the main machine. Looked a bit more closely …

Every time I save a flight in FS9 with Capt. Sim's 727 models, when I get back to the current screen after saving the situation, all three fire handles are lit up and I cannot figure out why this has happened or how to fix it. It's nuts.Any help/advice appreciated, thanks!JS

Hi,I somehow corrupted my FS installation. I had a few crashes during some overclock experiments and FS is little offended since then.But as most of the program is running fine, and I have this myriads of tweaks addons and little changes I'd hate a reinstall.Two strange things are going on:1. When I chosse "select a flight" FS crashes.When I directly double click a FLT file everything works fine. The installation path in the registry is ok btw.2. When I put on the battery after a certain time the avionics master switch switches in the on position completely by itself. It also refuses to go back in the off position no matter what. Not really a critical issue, but when in tower view I hear a lot of wind noise. Is there any way to disable that noise?Thank you for your input.DomEPWR

I have been running FS9 since it first came out and have added a lot of add-ons without a problem. Recently, and I can not connect this to a specific add-on, I have runways appearing double and overlapping and taxiways running over into runways. I had saved and have now replaced my entire FS9 texture file, but with no help. By the way, this is occurring mostly in Florida. I think I installed a landclass update file for Florida, but don't how to find what to delete. Any ideas? I would love to be able to avoid a total uninstall and re-install. It seems after reinstalling windows XP and XP SP1 I now get an error caused bu Sim1.dll. Does anyone know if it is possible to find this file in one of FS9 cd's? I'd like to reinstall it, Thanks

Hello,Who else is making a fully functional CRJ-200 (fms included) ? I have the Feelthere CRJ, but the FMS is very basic and they have said that there are no plans to update the functionality of it. Which is disappointing, especially since the FMS is the heart of flying the aircraft realistically. I have seen a link for another developer, but can't remember it. Can anyone help me? Thank you.

I appologize if im posting somethng that has been done before...Is there any way to change the defaukt FS2004 jetways to ones that are more realistic..not ones that go 50 feet in the air? Or can i just get one that works for the Default FS2004 KORD?

For some reason all of a sudden the autopilot ( on any aircraft )will only change the settings for Heading in multiples of 10 degrees or altitude by whole 1000s feet. Does anyone know why this should be and how to get back to where we were before?EDIT( 20 minutes later)- The problem seems to have corrected itself after a couple of restarts of FS9 - nonetheless - does any one have any idea what might be the cause of this?Dave
