Was checking the AVSIM news earlier and saw information about the release of new scenery for a small UK GA airfield (Shoreham) by "OSS".I already have the UK2000 version of this airfield but decided to take a peek at their PR shots and see how much they are trying to charge us all for the privilege of installing this scenery.To be honest I was shocked when I visited their website. $24.95$24.95 for a v small UK GA airfield. I could get the whole of the South of England airfields from UK2000 for less than this!Do I detect another blatant attempt at ripping off FlightSim users by a payware company or do you think I am overreacting?Has anyone bought it? Got a question, The Northeast (New York city, Philly) and Ultimate terrain just brings my system to a halt. I have Framerates set at 25 and I can fly all over the country never really dropping below 20 in most cases, even into LAX with a loaded airport. Any ideas on how I can at least get New York and Philly to run a bit better?? I am dropping down to 3-8FPS in that area with no clouds and no traffic. I understand that the region is very dense and there in alot of data that goes long with it. Tom was good enough to respond, he told me they went out of business, I gave the company a few more days to deliver my package, I also called American Express to give them a heads up, that I may have a problem with Simware Simulations. I just bought a laptop. Decided to put fs2004 on it to take on a trip for a little R & R in spare time.First thing-this laptop has an ati card on it-I have been using nvidia for last 5 years. Looks lots better-period-the LCD screen looks better than my monitor! Got a cheap usb controller-handles nicer than my chpro setup-even vibrates which is totally unrealistic but kind of fun!Laptop is slower processor by 1 ghz from my desktop unit.Difference is no add ons on laptop-(figure I have about 30 or more now on the desktop). All of my airbusses flew fine in the past with no known problems but it has been a little while since I selected them. I am now having the following problem with all of my airbusses (318, 319, 320, 321, 340.From the keyboard (Number "+" and "-" commands) I am getting no response for the detent positions ("TO-GA", "FLX", "CL",) Nothing happens relative to a power increase, or decrease nor does the text update on the panel.I restored defaults for keyboard assignments in FS9 thinking that possibly I had reassigned something that was required. Hi!After installing some addon airports, for instance Rome (LIRF) and Vienna (LOWW) the ATIS seems to add several fictional runways. At LIRF there only exist 3 runways. But according to the ATIS also visual 17, visual 18, visual 19, visual 20 and so on, are listed up. There must be a bug somewhere, but I haven`t found it. The AFCAD looks ok to me. No extra runways there. Anyone who knows why this happens? Could it be fixed?

Has anyone tried the new ED glasses that are supposed to work with OK with LCD screens? I loved the effect on my old 19" CRT, but wondering if its worth the cost/effort on my new 2x17" CRT setup.From what I've read LCDs are about 70Hz so surely that means a nasty 35 hz flicker effect? I hope you all have better luck than I did with Just Flight. There have been several posts on their web page about various issues. Some are even unanswered. I am on week 6 I think trying to get my Seneca to work without crashing my system. They are now working with me, but it took a LOT of complaining first. Nothing was done till I posted here earlier. I am not sure I would jump right on to their products till they have been out for a while. Just my thoughts.I remember seeing another post here about an issue someone was having. Might be worth looking in to.

Could anyone please provide details on how to make the proper approach to St. Barts runway 10? I used to have it, but I can't find it. I could not find anything on the net. Since this is a very difficult approach altitude and speed is critical! I believe special certification is required of all pilots intending to land there.Thanks for your help!Airbus

Hello,I know pretty surely that it's not only me experiencing this thing, but also two friends are having the same problem in their computers which means it must be some more popular one.So, about the issue. When running flight simulator in Full Screen mode and when I want to open the ALT key upper menu during flying, when I want to return to FS from minimized state or when I accidentally touch the mouse's right button which results in the window menu, then with every move I described comes at least 5 second delay during which you can't do anything. Somehow while running TTools I have managed to delete the fs9 enhanced airport aerial photos. Can anyone advise me on how to restore them from the cd. I also seem to be missing the fs9scenedbatcscenery.I deleted some .txt files with TTools and now have lost the above files.thanks petejohno
