Hi,I have a tough problem I cannot solve. No matter what airplane I load, after the plane initializes, the master battery switches on plus one generator and the fuel tank select goes to right tank. I have tried dozens of combinations of resetting to the proper cold and dark positions and saving as default. Does not make any difference. Now I get an "Alt" warning when passing through 13,000 feet in the B200 (Aeroworks). I have deleted the FS9 config file and FSUIPC inits. No change. I am about to uninstall the whole shooting match and start over. Which will take several hours to un-install and re-install all the add-ons. I believe there is a corrupt or modified dll in the …

Hi,Just wanted to do my first flight with the DC-3, and I found it almost impossible to taxi correctly. I used differential brakes and differentiated throttles to do the turns, but surely there's an easier way?Also, what are typical takeoff and landing speeds (range is fine, I know it depends upon weight and weather etc)?Thanks!Chris

On the fence about buying it but was wondering one thing. I'm using the demo mode and have created a VA for it and feel everything works good but when I try to veiw satitics about the aircraft which is the default 172 that I bought for the va it crashes to desktop.the question is: Is this feature only available in the non demo mode?Kilstorm

Okay - my last question for the night!What's wrong with this picture: you fly into a beautiful sunset ... the clouds are building with deep orange and purple. The moon comes up and the red sunset prepares you for the second part of your flight that will take you into the night.And suddenly!! - you go through a TIMEZONE change and everything resets to day scenery. Gone is the sunset and the moon!Is there a fix for this so that the texture scenery will remain the same even if you change local time? I thought that we all fly on 'ZULU' time.:-(Time to say good night.Terblanche

Hello,I'm not too pleased with the visual appearance of FS2004. I have a Dell Dimension 4400, 1.59GHz. The video card is and NVidia GeForce FX 5200. As you can see, the Delta stripes look awful.Do you have any suggestions for how I can improve the looks of this? I've tried various anti-aliasing settings, and screen resolutions.Thank you very much,Kurt

If you're into organizing your folders and files you might want to be careful of this. It installs via an executable that dosn't create a new subdirectory in your addon directory but just dumps the scenery and texture files into the repspective addon/scenery and addon/texture directories. Nothing seems to get added to the scenery.cfg, but I guess if they're in the main folder there is no requirement for an entry. Some of the files have fairly common names--like parking.bgl--so there is a possibility of overwriting some existing files also. Maybe I'm a compulsive organizer but this post is for any other compulsive organizers that may be out there. :-)EDIT: But sitting here…

Does anyone have the old program "RwyInfo Gauge" successfully working in FS9? I realize that I could get this info from numerous other places but I used to really appreciate the old window which I could call up to display the ILS frequency of whatever airport I desired in the database.Wilbert

I flew a very interesting approach into Johnson Petersburg (PAPG) in Alaska ... maybe it is old news to the most other simmers but for someone who hardly every fly in the USA, the real weather had very low clouds and it was a challenge to do this with winds and clouds.Off course the only draw back was ATC who did not have a clue about the approach and who was trying to vector me for a straight in approach - up and down with the altitude and left to right in their directions. Hi all I am new to this forum and i am new to the flight simulator series, actually been playing for a week now. I am getting pretty good at it and i love flying the smaller single or dual engine planes and once in a while i will take a Lear jet out, but i have a couple of questions. First is there a package free or otherwise to improve the ground cause when i fly in close the ground looks not crisp and very blocky in color and i also wanted to know if there were any places to get more wav files for the ATC for the program Enviro, particularly for central and south america.thanksPaul

Whatever happened to the Oshkosh scenery that Microsoft put out a few versions ago? It was photographic scenery that did a really good job of capturing the unique experience of flying into Oshkosh and allowed you to follow the actual FAA procedures. Does the original scenery still work in FS9?David

Hi,I am new in GPS stuff. I try to use it with Project Fokker F70 v2. Flight plan is loaded. (FSNavigator is switched off). I switch the selector on the top let corner to the right position (GPS). The GPS led in the AP turns on, but the plane is still following the HDG instead of the GPS flight plan route.Is it working at all? Do I make something wrong?Gabor

Recently D/L Pauls Spitfire-mk-VIII.zip. It loaded just fine, just unzipped (using folders) in FS2004 Aircraft folder like instructions say. It iscame up under aircraft and loaded fine, it has sound etc. BUT no GUAGES on instrument panel, gps and radio stack come up ok. Any idea why no guages, what have I missed??? Looks like like a good freeware plane. Any ideas on problem or another Spitfire I could get freeware or payware. Reinstalled 3 times, same problem.ThanksChuck
