I checked the SS in F1 and it looks really good. The only doubt I have is if the GNS is dummy like in the Aeroworx King Air (well, not dummy, but extremely limited in its functionality), or if it is fully functional.Thanks,Leo

Well, the trees are just turning in the Northeast, and it started to do the same in FS9.I am now getting a 100% CTD in a specific area. I have the scenario saved, and if I change to the summer, no crash, if I change to the current crash I get a 100% CTD with this scenario.I'm in the air 16nm east of ECK VOR, on the 079 radial, happen to be flying the DF727 at FL300.Anyone else experiencing this or something similar?I got another CTD a couple days ago in the Seattle area, but I can't remember those details, and don't have it saved.YES, I have the 9.1 fix installed.* Orest-~~~~~~~~~Orest Skrypuchwww.united-virtual.com

Hi all!I just wanna say thankyou to Dreamfleet for making beautiful GA's. I fell so in love with my Baron that I went to Dreamfleet and bought the A36 as well. Flying a bit lower, and with a better sideview due to single engine, I really enjoyed my flight, she behaves good and everything is so logical and intuitive in these planes, so you forget about the computer environment.Yesterday I took the 727 for a spin. Haven't done that for a while, but I had the same experience that I've had with the Beeches. There's something about these Dreamfleet planes!(I'm not hired by Dreamfleet to say this!)Looking forward to see the XP gauges in the A36 :)

I just purchased this product tonight and put it through it's paces and man the performance is below some of my freeware. It's a great plane, and after tweaking with the config manager I can't get consistant performance without stutters etc. I've since cured the stutters in the past but this plane brings them back. Anybody have any suggestions before I ask for a refund. I'd really like to keep it, but after flying PDMG737ng with good performance I don't want to go back making a lot of changes. Hi guys,I've been reading so many accolades on Active Sky, I'm very tempted to buy it. However I'm hesitant because I don't have that great a machine and can't afford a huge frame hit. Does this program have a big affect on frame rates?I currently have the Chris Willis high performance clouds installed and that helps my performance. Anyone seen the Bird Strike real world video on Office Attachments, at Yahoo?I cannot work out what the pilots are saying, due to heavy breathing (wonder why) But the 'eject eject!', is clear as a bell!IHADDS camera then shows you plane crashing with pilots well out of it.No idea what the aircraft is/was or where it happened.I assume the bird was not happy either(lol)

I've just downloaded the latest SID/STAR database from Navdata for my PMDG747. Although it's a huge list, I notice that there is only a handful of U.S. airports. Where are all the other U.S. airports? In particular I was looking for KJFK and KORD. Thank you.

I have pretty much given up using online wx in FS for various reasons. I now use the built-in wx generator in Fs9 with FSUIPC. I have the rain visibility range in FSUIPC set to 7 miles, but after landing in KBOS in a massive t-storm, I am wondering if this is realistic. I could just make out the VASI starting at 6 nm on approach. I suppose it depends on how low the cloud/mist curtain is. Yesterday at KDCA (in real life), we had a point where the rain vis was probably no more than 1 mile; it was appalling and I saw three aircraft in a row go-around, two of whom seemed hopelessly off course in such conditions!Anybody care to suggest a "standard" visibility range for ra…

I am fairly new at this, but I have been downloading aircraft, scenery, all kinds of things including AFCADS. The thing is, I don't exactly know what AFCADS are. So, my question in general is: what is an AFCAD and how do you use them. I have a general understanding that they enhance airports. But how do you install and use them?

Hi,Lately I've been having a problem in FS where, after say 30 or 40 minutes, I go from my usual 32fps down to like 9-16fps, varying in that area. I lose the fluidity (smoothness) of the sim, and it is all choppy. Any Ideas?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has run into this problem. In the virtual cockpit when I scroll the mouse over levers such as the throttle and mixture there are no plus and minus signs and you cannot push or pull them? Has anyone ran across this problem before.Thanks,todd

It seems autogen is placing power stations every 100 yards or so. And each one has this really bright flashing red light on top. It ruins my suspension of disbelief as far as the scenery goes as everywhere you look you see these flashing red lights which you know are these power stations. I don't see anything like this when I fly for real. I'm using FSGenesis Landclass .09 and UTUSA and scenery sliders to the max. I have AD Roads streams and Utilities, but I have the utilities (and roads and streams etc of course) turned off at the moment for framerate reasons.Is there any way to get rid of the light from the power station? If not, is it possible to remove the power…

My scenery for South America has gone haywire. The airports and lakes are all on strange elevations above the surrounding area and mountains are displaying in a peculiar manner. I have (hopefully) attached a screenshot showing a typical scene. Any suggestions?

There have been numerious posts here by Simmers experiencing CTD's and many responses about re-installing FS9 when all other corrections fail to work. Well, I am now at that stage (after 3 months of trying various other correction methods, including some equipment upgrades) where a re-install is probably my next best bet. Otherwise I'll probably need to give up Flight Simming until the new FS comes out sometime next year. There are many bits and pieces in AVSIM posts about general methods used to re-install FS9, but none which give the whole process step by step without having to paste together 10 different posts or guess which process should be done and in what order. Apologies if this turns out to be just a quirk in my system.Haven't flown from or to Hong Kong for quite a while.Flew Aerosim's L1011 in Cathay Pacific livery to Hong Kong last night and noticed that just about halfway between the old and new airports, there was a fairly large island.What caught my attention was the very colourful terrain textures on the island, which clash with the surrounding, much more muted, terrain.Could anyone check if it is just me, or is this just a MS hiccup.Thanks,

Sorry if im posting this in the wrong forum. I recently downloaded a 727 with a nice panel, love flying it, but cant land worth @@###. For one,I cant seem to control it as it slows to the runway, it wants to dip one way or the other.(landing speed is around 140, and trimmed at least 30 flaps), the other issue is I have a devil of a time getting down to the runway, you almost have to force it down. Any thoughts on what im doing wrong. Thanks

I'm wondering if anyone else ever experiences this. I have no problem setting up my flights and actually flying to my destination, but a few minutes after shutdown I get the dreaded CTD. No explanation. No "We're sorry for the inconvenience..", etc. All of a sudden I'm just staring at my desktop like FS was never there. In fact, once I went from watching a nice sunset from the gate straight into an instant reboot of my computer with no warning.
