Hi guys,My FS2004 install is more than one year old, and suddenly I noticed the sky colors looks like they were displayed in 16 colors.I use 1280/1024/32 resolution display.Anyone encountered the same problem before?Here is a pic of what I get:http://aiarnaud.free.fr/nochange.jpgand here is the same pic exagerated so that you see what the problem is.http://aiarnaud.free.fr/odd_ps.jpgI havent reinstalled my drivers yet, I suspect its an FS problem, or worse maybe, a broken DirextX (I have 9.0c installed)Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I love the idea for a NY bridges fix file in the library. I am having a problem though. It seems that now I have (2) of everything - (2) Shea Stadiums, (2) GW Bridges, (2) Meadowlands, etc. I installed it in the Addon Sceneryscenery directory as wassuggested. What am I doing wrong? The only change in the latest release of the file (nybridges11_176015.zip) is the readme; I corrected the email address and added the credits.I have tested the file now, using the FSG freeware mesh, with: - default water and roads - it's ok, bridges don't line up with the roads, and Bear Mountain bridge is especially noticeably different, and, at least on my system, the Newark bridges are not over any water (but I have so many things installed, my default water may be screwed up) but otherwise, seems ok.- FreeFlow NE with default roads and USA roads - works great with FFNE and USA roads, everything seems to line up well. Ok guys...I'm beat down. Without going into great detail about why I spent 90 bucks on this airplane, or how I have sent numerous emails requesting support from them either to be ignored from both email addresses or to be repeatedly refferred to their so-called support website......I CANNOT get the external lights to work. I have installed this aircraft three times according to their instructions. This didn't fix it. I also downloaded Arianes BBJ Lights fix which was supposed to fix the light FX files that may not have compacted properly on the original zip file...that hasn't worked. Hello. I'm hoping someone can answer this for me.Is it possible to have the same AC# for AI aircraft if they are in different traffic.bgl files? In other words, let's say I have an AC#1 aircraft in the default traffic.bgl file and I also have an AC#1 aircraft in a custom made GA traffic.bgl file.Does doing things this way work or does it mess things up? With having multiple traffic files (made by different people) it's sometimes hard to know if a number has been duplicated.Thanks!

I understand that when a now product comes out the providers are often swamped for some period of time with questions on their support forums. Just installed "NY Bridges" (Thanks Thomas, great contribution). I haven't flown low level VFR for a while out of JFK or anywhere else in the NY area and decided I would peek at the bridges. I discovered that aliens had done away with the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and a number of other places.Being that I chose to "Activate All Ultimate Terrain Enhancements", it took a while to realize that having "Remove Misplaced FS2004 Landmarks" and/or "Remove Misplaced FS2004 Buildings" checked in the Ultimate Terrain Setup Utility caused this. Hi Folks,Just installed FS Camera but I'm having a problem when I click on FS Camera in the FS 2004 menu. What happens is the FS Camera 1.5 menu is displayed with an error messge : "Project 1 Runtime error '6' Overflow" and the only option is to click on OK. The FS Camera menu remains displayed but isn't centered on the screen as it is moved over to the right so you can't see the entire menu.Thanks for your help,

I find myself spending more and more time doing tweaking, panel customizing and just finding out what different settings do for the visuals than actually flying.Yesterday, I spent a full 3 hours only to test different AA and AF settings, how FSUIPC interferes with ASV, how the visibility settings influence FPS, what the "best" clouds settings are for me, how the FS world looks and what I can do with "ground casts shadows" and the mipmap settings to get rid of the massive stutters I have at FlyTampa's KMDW area.The bottom line is that because of the different hardware in PCs, there's no general rule how to set things.The FS word still isn't satisfying for me (e.g. I have "…

Hello all I am trying to use this great program with the Dreamfleet Barron 58 and I am doing a flight plan through fs nav and i do the auto plot course and then i press F9 when i have a positive climb however the plan does not change course but the alt does change. I cannot get the FMC to correctly descent at a constant rate from the final approach fix to the end of the runway at the desired 3 degree angle. What always happens in my non ils approaches is the aircraft descends very low first then gives me a gradual descent to the runway threshold. I am too low too early ... Most approach charts give you the angle from the last fix to descent at. How do you make the FMC perform this.. How do you program descent angles??How do you make the aircraft descend at the 3 degree angle using VNAV so you get a constant rate??

I loaded the FScene patch for the Clean Sweep Autogen and now I am missing most of my autogen buildings. It appears that the residential buildings are missing. I see larger commercial buildings and the trees. These ARE aligned with the roads. I would say that I have about one quarter the autogen I had before. Could it be that I have UT-USA loaded?I posted in the FScene support forum and got no reply. Should I just hang it up and get BEV? DM

I've been to EGLL a few times both as a spectator and a passenger. Sometimes engines were started at the Terminal, more often after pushback.
